Fifty years ago lived a boy. Fifty years ago, that boy was hidden away under lock and key when specific people were going missing during the years. Fifty years ago, war was declared against the five major Hidden Villages and he was brought out into the fray after years of captivity to fight.

"Naruto!? What the hell are you doing?! Stop what you're doing this instant!" A furious blonde haired woman yelled out at the teenager with fierceness in her tone. Her hair is straight and shoulder-length, and is currently tied in two loose ponytails. And she had a violet diamond shape tattoo on her forehead.

A pair of cerulean eyes narrowed dangerously at the woman then they looked behind her at the Shinobi Alliance. Standing behind him glaring down at the army was the Tailed Beasts. Their chakra is entering his seal of their own violation; their own chakra is steadily adding on to his already massive reserves to unprecedented heights.

"No." Naruto firmly replied in refusal. "You people have learned NOTHING from all of this." He told them with bitterness lathing his voice. "Instead of moving forward to a better future, you're all going to go back to the way things were, before all of this happened. Not only that but you're planning on sealing the Tailed Beasts into new hosts?" The Tailed Beasts began to shrink down rapidly as they willingly gave more and more of their chakra to Naruto. "My patience with you people has finally reached the tipping point." As the last of the Tailed Beasts chakra went inside of him Naruto's entire physique changed.

His burnt orange and black jumpsuit turned to light yellow. His eyes became slitted, and his whisker marks became thicker to resemble three rectangles. The entirety of his jumpsuit transformed into a dark-coloured bodysuit, like haori that reached down to his shinobi sandles, and down the sleeves of his arms to his knuckles. On his abdomen is a light coloured circle which is where the seal that once held Kurama was located. On the collar of his bodysuit were magatamas.

On the back of the haori was the marking of the Six Paths Sage, a Rinnegan above nine magatama. His eyes instead of his natural blue turned to yellow and the whiskers on his face became more pronounced, almost like rectangles in appearance. Spouting out on top of his head were two horns that was made from his own hair. The only thing that remained unchanged about Naruto was the colour of his skin.

With his transformation complete Naruto, with a look of great determination, thinned his lips and narrowed his eyes. "I'm going to end the system. The Way Of The Shinobi stops here!" He declared loudly and fiercely. He pointed at the exhausted army who were readying themselves for a new battle. "And it's starting with you people!"

X.X.X.X

Fifty years ago the shinobi and Kunoichi in his timeline were very arrogant. They treated civilians as second rate people. The nine Jinchuuriki, residing in the Five Major Hidden Villages were treated as if they were less than human. Many Jinchuuriki came out as bitter men and women as a result of their treatment and in the most extreme cases of their mistreatment, they became psychopaths or fatalists.

Naruto Uzumaki, now going by the name of Geno, was no exception to this.

When the Jinchuuriki went missing one by one and were never heard from again, he was kept under lock and key. Then during the Kage's summit, the Fourth Shinobi World War was announced to the entire world from the figure head of Akatsuki and he was forced to come out of hiding to partake in the war. He didn't have a choice in the matter. The ninja just expected him to do what was expected of him without any consequences. To act as their guard dog, attack where they point, and then when his usefulness was no longer needed he would get thrown aside until the next time he would be called.

Not this time. When the war ended with the Shinobi Alliance victorious, Geno learned not long after said war that the Five Kage's were going to attempt to seal away the currently freed Tailed Beasts into new hosts and they would go back to the way they were before.

Suffice to say, they haven't learnt a thing.

So he absorbed the Tailed Beasts – who wanted it to happen - into his seal, and with them working together for the first time since the creation of the Hidden Villages, they intended to finish off the ninja way by wiping out every ninja and kunoichi they could find.

However Geno was not use to the new levels of power he had gained and he along with the Tailed Beasts ended up destroying the entire planet into large chunks while they were fighting the remnants of the shinobi alliance.

The destruction of the planet had burnt the skin and everything underneath off of his bones killing him instantly. Or so he thought. Geno found himself in the Dimensional Gap with the clothes he is wearing now. Although the scarf came later on. He didn't know how long he had been in the Dimensional Gap for. The Tailed Beasts were with him thankfully but after the ordeal with the entire planet going kaboom on them, they were incredibly weakened and had to recover.

After spending a few years in the Dimensional Gap the skeleton never had contact with any one and tried exploring the new dimension in order to pass the time. He didn't get very far with that. Everywhere he went was pure blackness. He couldn't see any thing not even his own hands. So he quickly turned and went back to where there was a light source.

Then he found the other timelines when he was testing his powers. He discovered there were other versions of himself. He saw places he had never seen before. Races he had never even dreamt of existing. And in these timelines were different versions of himself.

A lot had a past similar to his own but some were very optimistic about the future and never gave up. Others were dark, but not evil, and generally didn't give a flying fuck about what happened to others. Some fell to their despair, and became the very thing others were afraid of. Many killed themselves out of desperation and depression.

The skeleton also learnt of the colour coding that was on the television screens. He learned the colour green means the timeline is still going and there are many events down the line. The colour grey means the timeline had stopped. It froze at a point in time and would not continue. And finally red; red means the timeline had ended.

Now considering there are many timelines out there, each with their own version of himself, that could mean a lot of things.

It could mean:

A) that the timeline, the story, had ended with a happy ending.

Or B) the story had ended, with the destruction of the entire planet.

Like his own.

And when he found his timeline, he saw the television was outlined red. Meaning his timeline had ended with the destruction of his planet.

X.X.X.X

Geno had long came to the conclusion that his work was done. His planet was destroyed. His own timeline has ended. His timelines' version of The Way of the Shinobi is over. There was no one left to continue it. Did he regret the accidental destruction of his planet? No. He didn't regret it.

The skeleton knew there were innocent and decent people in his timeline. Hell he found a few decent people in his forced and unwilling career as a ninja. But they were so deeply compressed with all the shit and trouble the Ninja Way caused over the decades it was hard for him to find them in the masses.

He regretted being the cause of their death but he couldn't change it and there was no use crying over something that had happened so long ago. Besides there are many timelines out there, the one he came from is – was – just one of many. As much as he hated to admit it, his timeline was of no importance.

What he usually does now is look at other timelines and if they catch his interest then he would pay attention to it. And as he later learnt, insert himself in them. Mainly to test out his powers. A lot of people in the timelines he visited wanted to bring him under their control, others tried to trick him, many tried to kill him too.

So to test his powers he fought in many timelines in a one-sided battle; in his favour mind you. He nearly annihilated his foes that were stupid enough to attack him. There was one timeline that was in a three way war between Devils, Fallen Angels and Angels. Suffice to say all three saw him appear out of nowhere and they all attacked. So he took the three races on by himself and nearly wiped them out in a matter of days. Almost made their version of Earth uninhabitable during the conflict too. When you had the combined power of the Tailed Beasts, plus sage mode, plus the Six Paths Sages chakra running through your body. And the fact you can't get tired, or feel hungry, or pain – because y'know, he lacked the blood cells and organs for those type of things – it's not surprising the battle was one sided in his favour.

One timeline he found, was one where an alternate version of himself died due to chakra exhaustion when some guy called Pein, attacked Konohagakure, something that shamefully never happened in his timeline, and the boy turned into a literal demon some time after his death. That timeline was long. That timeline's Naruto went from good to being a deranged, sociopath demon and killed – literally - everyone that stood in his way. Even his own family who were reunited in death and gave him siblings were the last to be killed. In the end there was no one left standing except for Naruto.

Another timeline he discovered is when a young Naruto – who's about 6 or 7 - befriends a little girl called Riful that lives in another dimension. She can shapeshift her body into a giant demonic being, and can attack with really, really sharp ribbons that can cut through almost anything. That timeline was coloured Grey, meaning it hasn't stopped, but it hasn't continued either.

Eventually his interest in the timelines began to wane until he lost interest entirely. While old ones would finish or stop their progress completely, new ones would appear but they were either similar to the older ones or just carbon copies of them with a few differences.

Then, suddenly, he became interested in the timelines again. All because an alternate version of himself that had died in the Valley of the End – something that is a recurrence in many of the timelines he saw – found his way to the Dimensional Gap.

And now with the boy being sent to a timeline similar to the one he had nearly brought to its knees so long ago, he couldn't help but wonder what is going to happen.

X.X.X.X

Naruto Uzumaki had done well for himself in the past three years. Ever since Geno sent him to this word, at his request, he had a hard time getting himself off his feet. He found himself in a park in the middle of some city.

He was in a new world; a new place; he couldn't do things half-assed if he wanted to stay undiscovered by the worlds super-natural. When he wasn't training he was stealing money from people that deserved it. Who knew stealing money from drug dealers would be so darn easy? It's a good thing he can use transformation to disguise himself when he's doing this. That way no one will be able to track him.

He also trained to keep his abilities up-to-stuff and not to let himself get rusty. Geno took him in his Dimensional Gap to train him as well. He's pretty good at dodging multiple attacks from different angles now.

It was something Geno was glad for; the skeleton had been pretty darn bored being cooked up in the Dimensional plane by himself with nothing to do.

Geno helped to find himself a place to live, he also conjured up some documents, and files of his birth, his parents, anything that is important to his existence in this timeline. Something he is going to need since having no proof of his existence would be pretty hard to explain. Thankfully they were so realistic that no one would be able to tell they were fake from the real things. Geno had also digitalised his birth certificate, and his current status, in the case someone were to look for it through the computers.

A set of HB pencils beside him, two sets of hard and soft rubbers and a A4 hardback sketchbook in his lap, Naruto despite knowing there's several races other than humans in this timeline was content staying here for the foreseeable future.

Of course with the super-natural here Naruto knew the peaceful life he was living would one day come to an abrupt end if he wasn't careful.

And his peace had lasted for three years too! He didn't think it would end all of a sudden either! And by some navy blue haired woman who is able to manifest yellow spears at that!

She just appeared out of a dark alleyway and attacked him for no reason at all. He never even met the woman before in his life! Could she have discovered his ability to use chakra? Or the Nine Tailed Fox sealed inside of him?

He stepped to the side to avoid the very predicable trajectory of a pair of light spears that were intended to impale him. The spears dispersed when they collided with the ground; the force behind them was enough to cause a spider-web like crack to form around the areas of impact.

Looking up towards' the sky Naruto saw his attacker, the same woman from before but with black wings who called herself Kalawarner and seeing the irritated look on her face he shrugged and said with a cheeky smile, "Why are you attacking me?"

"You have a massive reserve of chakra within you." She said surprising Naruto as he never showed his capability with it. He was so careful too! "You are a possible threat to us and our operation here, therefore you must be eliminated!" Kalawarner exclaimed viciously, as with a wave of her hand dozens of yellow spears of light materialised around her. All of them were pointed at the object of her ire.

"Yeah. Not gonna happen you crazy spear throwing lady. So I'll pass on that." Naruto deadpanned at the woman. He crossed his arms he counted the amount of spears there was being pointed at him. There was 20 of therm in total. Throwing her arm down the spears raced down toward the ground.

Thankfully he was a lot faster than people seem to think he is. Kalawarner felt a surge of chakra from the boy and before her eyes, her target seemingly vanished just before the spears collided with the ground. Making small holes in the earth before they dispelled. It was only years of honed experience that she was quick enough to block the left hook that Naruto sent when he suddenly appeared in mid-air beside her. With widened eyes Kalawarner leaned back grabbed the wrist as it past her, spun around and using the momentum she threw the teen down to the ground and formed several more light spears before sending them after the troublesome teen.

Looking back over his shoulder Naruto blinked calmly when he saw several more yellow spears heading toward him. Below he never noticed a dark clothed and hooded figure wearing a familiar tattered red scarf wrapped around his shoulder and neck fazed into existence.

Seeing that no one had noticed him arrive Geno pulled his skeleton hand out of his coat pocket and pointed his palm at the falling Naruto. Just as the spears were about to impale the teenager, Geno brought his arm down, and watched as Naruto suddenly fell to the ground at a much quicker rate. As if the area of gravity around him had increased.

When Naruto landed on his feet Geno put his hand back into his pocket and casually made his way to the blonde teen. Normally for an encounter like this the skeleton would put up a barrier to conceal his presence from other high tier beings.

However he knew this woman had put up a barrier of her own before attacking Naruto. This was devil territory after all and getting discovered here by the one who owns this territory would have severe set backs for the people she's working with. Plus if she were to try and take down the barrier, he can erect another one in its place to keep their presence hidden.

"Well," His voice brought both Naruto and Kalawarner's attention to him. "a Fallen Angel discovered you. Ain't this quite the situation you've unwillingly gotten yourself into? I knew you would get discovered by the supernatural sooner or later."

"Hey! I kept to myself, Geno!" Naruto replied to the skeleton version of himself indignantly before pointing at Kalawarner who was staring at Geno with wary eyes. "That crazy lady attacked me for no reason at all!"

"Is that so?" Geno then brought his gaze up to the woman. "I've kept my eye on you for the past three years in the Dimensional Plane, making sure you weren't getting yourself knee deep in trouble in this timeline." He briefly took his gaze off of the woman to look at Naruto. "You've done well for yourself. Next time try using your Rasengan with your shadow clones when you're trying to take on flying opponents. But for now, I'll take care of this. Bring that woman down to my level."

"Geno, no one can match your level. You'd annihilate her in seconds." Naruto pointed out to the skeleton.

"I know. Ain't that grand?" Geno said as he took his hand out of his coat pocket again and aimed his palm at the Fallen Angel. "But, uh, I wasn't talking about 'my' level," The skeleton saw the Fallen Angel was no longer standing idly by now, and had formed several yellow spears of light, numbering near 50, around her to be used against both him and Naruto. "I was talking about the ground." Scoffing at the less than intimidating sight before him, the skeleton threw his arm down and watched as the woman let out a startled cry at having the gravity around her increase and being forced to the ground against her will.

The air around the spears distorted momentarily before they disintegrated all at the same time. Naruto was, for a moment, able to see the distortion surrounding the light energy. And then the spears were forcibly dispelled.

Putting his hand back in his pocket Geno casually made his way over to Kalawarner who was shaking. Not out of anger but out of fear. The woman couldn't feel anything from him. The usual energy she could detect from her fellow Fallen was not there. Nor was the purity of the Angels. There was no devil energy either. Even humans had an aura around them, but this thing, this man, was giving off nothing! It was like he wasn't there. Like he didn't exist, though he was right there in front of her!

She tried to move. Tried to struggle. Tried anything to get away from this unusual person before her. But there was some kind pressure holding her down. Like the gravity around her was three times than Earth's. Keeping her immobile.

The Fallen Angel gulped as the hooded person got down on one knee beside her. The two simply stared at each other. Kalawarner was unable to see his face because his hood was positioned in such a way that the top half of his head was concealed in shadow, the tattered looking scarf took care of all the rest.

"Y'know, I'm normally a laid back guy." Geno began when he saw that the woman was just going to lay there on the ground and stare at him. He chuckled when he saw the woman flinch after his first word. "I wouldn't get involved in these sort of things mainly because I wouldn't care. It doesn't involve me." He pulled his hands from his pockets and Kalawarner's eyes went wide when she saw they were nothing but bone, and choked when the skeleton grabbed her tightly by the throat while using his other hand to pull the scarf down so she could see his mouth. "But. You. Attacked my friend when he had done NOTHING wrong. And all because your boss somehow found out he had a TON of chakra. That makes me...irritated. Nearly angry." Kalawarner grunted uncomfortably when the grip on her throat tightened even more almost cutting away her air supply. "And you do NOT want to see what I am like when I'm angry. People die when I get angry." He growled out as he leaned in threateningly to the woman.

"I know you have an eye on this timeline Geno, so do you know how I was found out at being able to use chakra?" Naruto asked from behind the skeleton.

Hearing the question from his alternate self, it was like a flip had been switched and Geno leaned back, looking at his more human self with a cheerful air around him. "You unknowingly came in contact with a Fallen Angel who happens to be leading this woman and a few others. What you don't know is that there is a race, or youkai, in this timeline that is capable of utilising chakra although not in the way you use it. The youkai that is able to use chakra are known as the forked cats who are to be killed on sight. And because you have abnormally large amounts of chakra..."

"Her leader thought I was a fork tailed cat and sent someone to kill me." Naruto finished as he looked at the ground with narrowed eyes and thin lips. "If I had already been found out then there is a good chance the other super naturals know about me as well, isn't there?" The teen questioned, looking at the skeleton with an expression akin to reluctant expectation.

"Yes." Geno confirmed, much to the dismay and annoyance of Naruto. "The chances of you being discovered in your three years here has increased the longer you were around other people." He turned to partially look over his shoulder to see his counterpart. Letting go of Kalawarner's throat Geno stood up adjusted his scarf so it was covering the bottom half of his face and put his hand back into his coat pocket as the woman coughed and inhaled large gulps of oxygen.

"Does any one else know of my chakra capability?" Naruto asked as Geno began to casually pace back and forth in front of the pinned Fallen Angel.

"The Fallen Angels she's following knows about you. Two daughters from two prominent families of the devil faction who are in control of this area also know about you." Seeing the expression of confusion on Naruto's face, Geno elaborated for the teen's benefit. "You ran into a peerage member unknowingly at Kuoh Academy and she found out you had chakra, so she informed her boss of this, who in turn informed the other person in charge of this area. Yeah. You kept yourself hidden by not using chakra but you were found out regardless."

Kicking at an invisible stone Naruto crossed his arms and asked while gesturing to the Fallen Angel who was staring at Geno warily. "What are you going to do about her?"

Hearing that question Geno stopped his pacing and stared at Kalawarner in silence. There was a tense atmosphere around the trio and Kalawarner felt a chill run up her spine. The dark clothes, the hood covering his head, the clashing red scarf covering the bottom half of his face while the hood hid the rest in shadow.

Eventually Geno came to a decision that surprised the woman.

With his gaze still honed on Kalawarner the woman felt herself get lifted into the air as Geno said, "I'm going to let her go." Seeing her surprised expression Geno let out a snicker and rolled his shoulders. "Don't look so surprised, Kalawarner. The only reason I'm letting you go is so you can tell Raynare this: stay away from my friend or I will do something that is much worse than controlling gravity." He walked over to her and leaned in until his mouth was against her ear; he whispered to her, "There is a reason why I refer to myself as 'Geno'. Pray that you don't piss me off and make me give you the reason behind that name."

With that said Geno leaned back turned around on the heels of his shoes and casually walked over to Naruto; as he walked over to the boy the skeleton once more took his hand out of his coat pocket, casually raised it and snapped his fingers.

The Fallen Angel widened her eyes, taken by such surprise was she, that the barrier she had erected to keep her presence here hidden to shatter like glass!

That barrier is capable of keeping anybody outside and those who are inside trapped. It would burn anyone trying to get in or out! Yet this 'Geno' was able to shatter it effortlessly with a snap of the fingers!

"Better get movin', kiddo." Geno said as he patted Naruto on the shoulder. "Now that the barrier's down it'll be a matter of time before the devils get here."

"Alright." Naruto said as he held Geno's hand. "Thanks, for coming to help Geno."

"No problem. I always look after my friends." Geno calmly looked to his left when he felt a presence nearby. "Now." He brought his gaze back to the teenager and gestured him to go. "Get going."

Naruto nodded and quickly made his way down the street. Geno watched until Naruto was out of sight before bringing his attention back to the Fallen Angel who, despite being afraid of being along with the deceptively powerful skeleton, was doing her best to look indifferent.

Geno gave Kalawarner the 'I am watching you' gesture as he dematerialised before vanishing from her sight completely. With no one there to hold her Kalawarner dropped to her feet and she warily looked to the direction Naruto had went. She should be going after him. She should be trying to kill him.

But the Fallen Angel knew better. He was still watching her. And despite never having met him he knew her name. He even knows the name of the person she's following. Raynare. This means he had known of them for quite some time but did not interfere because they haven't actively for his friend. Not until now of course.

She will have to tread lightly now she knows that she is being watched and warn Raynare of Geno as soon as she possibly can.

Without a second thought on her decision Kalawarner spread her wings and took to the skies. Her destination: the abandoned church they had made as their base of operations.
