The Smorfàcc group, requires its name from the gai” dialect, which meaning can be interpreted like musicians but also like weird ones”. The group presents itself like repeaters of the bergamascan and brescan traditional music. While remaining in the folkloristic territory, the arrangements tries to revive the pulsing and energic spirit of this sort of music, making and showing, in some pieces, similes with the sort of music over Alps. The pieces comes from the bell ringer's repertoire, from resercher's publications and also from the seek of the group's members.

Mark also wrote, developed and played the lead in the short film, The Double Deal, which has screened at 12 film festivals worldwide, and has won the following awards: Very best Brief Film at the San Diego Black Film Festival 2015, in California, USA Award of Excellence at the International Film Festival of Spirituality, Religion and Visionary 2014 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Particular Mention at the IFilmmaker International Film Festival 2015 in Marbella, Spain.
