Julius felt bad about what he had said to Delilah, and even worse when she had left. He wasn't quite sure why he said those things. And this Krystal, he didn't like her like her ... did he?
"Julius," Krystal called, motioning for him to follow. "Come with me, hun."
Julius sighed. This girl had a crush on him, that was for sure. He had to tell her he only considered her a friend. Julius walked up to Krystal, who was in the corner of the gym.
"Look, Krystal ..."
She held a finger to his lips, making him tense up. "Julius, I think we both know how we feel. Why don't we ..."
"Uh, Krystal, I'm-"
Her eyes flashed, but calmed. "I'm talking, dear. Listen, I can tell Delilah's ... uncomfortable with our ... relationship. So, how about this?"
Krystal's eyes grinned mischeviously as she spoke. "I'll keep you my dirty little secret."
Julius gulped, his back hitting the wall. All this time, Krystal had been backing him into a corner. She grinned, seeing him begin to sweat. "Who has to know? Besides, Julius, don't tell me you regret me?"
Julius was completely lost for words. "I ... um ... I ... um ..."
Krystal's eyes pouted, but her lips smiled as she mocked him. "I ... um ... I ... um. Come on, love. You're the only one who needs to know."
His lips brushed hers as he turned away from her kiss. Krystal glared at him. "You confuse me, Julius. You don't regret me, but you don't love me! What is it with you?"
Krystal stormed off. Julius sighed in relief. That was a close one. Unfortunately, he didn't realize that someone else had seen his close encounter. Not all of it, but enough.

Ursula giggled as she took off down the hall away from the gym. She had to tell Delilah! Delilah would love this! She could bug Julius about his little girlfriend. Ursula was so preoccupied with her thoughts, she almost ran slap-bang into Delilah.
"Whoa!" Delilah exclaimed, dodging out of the way.
Ursula wheeled around. "Delilah! I have something juicy to tell you."
Delilah rolled her eyes. "If this is about Emmet and his-"
"No!" Ursula interrupted, grinning like a kid at Christmas. "You know that new girl, Krystal?"
Ursula failed to notice Delilah bristle at the sound of her name. "Yes ..."
Leaning towards Delilah, Ursula whispered in her ear, "Well, I saw her and Julius kissing!"
Didn't Ursula hear that? No? She didn't hear the sound of Delilah's heart breaking? Still, Delilah tried to sound as if she found this amusing. "Really? Ha! Did you actually see them kiss?"
The smile on Ursula's lips faded slightly. "Uh, well, no, but Krystal was practically touching him. What else could have happened?"
Delilah felt her eyes beginning to water. "I, uh, got some lint in my eye. See you later,"
Ursula didn't even consider that Delilah had been lying. She waved goodbye and dashed off to her room, ready to pour all her secrets into her diary.
When Delilah reached her room, she threw herself down on her bed and sobbed out her distress into her pillow. She didn't notice the English to Greek Dictionary flop onto the floor and open on a page with the meaning of Krystallos on the top.
