We awoke last night to something. We’re not sure what it was, but it was close. It couldn’t have been Austrians, either. They don’t growl like an animal. Know that I think of it, it may have been the one who killed that man. Probably looking for wounded or unaware men. Luckily, it didn’t find any. We are organizing a few people to keep a perimeter watch. Three groups of three men will be keeping an eye out for anyone or anything. If the beast is smart, it will leave us alone in a night or two. But if they don’t, then we’re sure we’ll have it by that time. I hope we find it. We all want to have revenge on it for our man. It was its fault, and it will have to pay, whether it be without food, or without its head.
