Naruto's Perspective
"What about Orochimaru?" Sasuke asked.
"What did I... uh.. walk in on yesterday?" I asked, referring to the day before when I had seen Sasuke and Orochimaru kissing.
"Part of an agreement," he replied in a monotonous voice.
I sat down on the couch and hugged him tightly.
"What agreement?" I asked.
"You know that anyone at the hideout would have killed you on first sight," he said. I nodded.
"And nobody tried to hurt you," he continued. I stood up and gasped.
"You mean," I said slowly, "You made an agreement with that... freak to protect me?"
Sasuke didn't answer. I poked his face.
"Sasukeee, answer meee," I said.
"Fine," he sighed, "Yes I did. Nothing important."
I hugged him again, tighter this time.
"Awwww that's so sweeeeeet!" I giggled.
Suddenly, a loud, womanly scream split the air.
"That should be Sakura," Sasuke guessed, checking a book, "Yep. She's home."
"Hide. In the closet," I muttered, "She'll be coming here."
Sasuke nodded and walked into the closet. Lol. Closet.
Anyway, there was a hurried knock on the door and I got up to answer it.
"Hey Sakura," I greeted casually, "Why are you crying?"
"I went into my house," she explained, breathing heavily, "And I saw Lady Tsunade's dead body!"
"Wh-what?" I gasped, acting shocked (I am quite a good actor) "Granny Tsunade is... dead?"
Sakura nodded, more tears threatening to fall.
"Do you wanna go bury the body secretly?" I offered. She nodded again.
"Okay, let's go," I said gently, taking her hand. We successfully buried the body unnoticed. SO MANY SUCCESSES TODAY! BELIEVE IT!
"Sasuke," I called, closing my apartment door behind me, "Sasuke, she's gone. You can come out of the closet now." When he didn't answer, I opened the closet door. He was asleep.
"You sleep a lot," I said, nudging him gently with my foot.
"I think I sleep the perfect amount," he argued.
I crouched down next to him, grabbed his arm, and pulled him into a hug.
"Stop, Naruto," he commanded, "I don't want to hug you right now!"
"Too bad!" I laughed, "I want to hug you."
Just then, the door opened. Sasuke, who was sitting with his face against my chest against his will, dropped his head back to see who it was.
"Now, now, Sasuke," scolded Kabuto, "You know that's not good for your neck."
