Sonia and Sonic quietly entered Manic's room.

Manic tossed and turned in his sleep, accidentally kicking his blankets off the bed.

Sonic picked up the blanket and covered Manic up again. "You'd think he'd have a better immune system than this." He said. "Honestly, I figured you'd get the worse case of Mobian flu, sis."

"He'll get better, won't he?" Sonia asked. "I know the Mobian flu can be deadly, but he's a fighter."

Sonic glanced at Manic. "I hope so."

Manic curled up, groaning in his sleep.

"Maybe we should call the doctor again." Sonia said, aiming the thermometer at him. "No, bring the doctor here. He has a high fever again."

Sonic raced out of the room.

Manic flopped over onto his side knocking the sheets off yet again.

Sonia picked them up and covered Manic again.

She sat on the foot of Manic's bed and started crying.

"I probably should've called instead." Sonic thought.

He had been nearly all over the city and still hadn't found the doctor.

"Ugh, wouldn't it be our luck if the doctor got sick." Sonic muttered under his breath.

Nothing ever seemed to come easily for him and his siblings.

He finally came across the doctor, a Mobian porcupine, outside of an old apartment building.

"You're definitely feeling better, Sir." The doctor said.

"You can just call me Sonic, doc." Sonic replied. "Manic's fever is back. He's asleep right now, but we're worried."

"I'll be there as soon as I attend to three other patients." The doctor said, motioning to the building. "Just keep an eye on your brother adn and come here immediately if his condition gets worse."

Sonic sighed. "Yes, sir." He said. He headed home, though he wished he could've dragged the doctor to their home.
