The sun was starting to rise as Sonic carried Amy into his shack. "So how does it feel to be Mrs. Sonic the hedgehog?"
Amy smiled. "Great, but uh… what're we doing with my house?"
Sonic set Amy down. "Oh, well, I guess we can let Knuckles have your-"
"No, we'll keep mine." Amy replied. "Knuckles can have yours."
"Let's not fight a literal hour after we got married." Sonic said. "We're here now. Let's just stay here and figure out what to do with the other house later."

Sonic came back to his shack after his morning run.
Amy already had coffee and a pancake breakfast waiting for him. "There you are," She said. "I made breakfast. Maybe I can teach you to cook one day."
Sonic sat down. "I guess I need to learn, especially after Meh Burger went up on their chili dog prices."
"Oh, about the house." Amy said, sitting down across from him. "Turns out Zooey is looking for a new house."
Sonic set a few pancakes on his plate. "Really?"
Amy nodded. "So, I'm willing to sell her my house if you're willing to let me spruce this place up a bit and put up a door."
"Fine with me." Sonic replied. "Just know that the coconut husk collection is off limits and don't paint anything pink or put up unicorns or other cutesy decorations."
"Of course." Amy said, setting a couple of pancakes on her plate. "I just need you to help me move some stuff out of my house."
"Please tell me you're leaving the couch." Sonic replied. "That means we'll have to ask Knuckles for his help."
Amy sipped her coffee. "They'll figure it out eventually, Sonic." She asked. "It's not like we can hide our marriage forever."
Sonic poured blueberry syrup on his pancakes. "Eh, I guess it is better to get it over with."
Amy poured strawberry syrup over her pancakes. "They probably won't be too surprised anyway."

Knuckles and Sonic came back to Amy's house after moving the couch to his place.
"I can't believe you two got married without telling us." Knuckles said. "I would've loved to have been your maid of honor."
"You mean best man." Sonic replied. "Anyway, it wasn't a big deal. We just got married at the courthouse… on the other side of the village in the cover of night. Nothing special."
Sticks and Knuckles furrowed their brows.
"Anyway, don't tell Tails yet." Sonic said, going through some boxes Amy set out. "We'll tell him as soon as he gets back from seeing all the airplane museums on the planet."
Amy walked into the living room with another box and dropped it as soon as she noticed Sonic starting to pull something out of a box.
Sonic pulled a life-size body pillow of himself out of the box. He stared in horror at the the body pillow for a moment. "What the heck is this?!"
Amy grinned nervously. "N- nothing."
Sonic sighed and threw it in the fireplace. "I'm willing to never speak of this again if you never make another one."
"Deal." Amy replied. "Sticks, burn it, please."
Sticks quickly started a fire in Amy's fireplace with her survival knife and a bar of magnesium.
Two hours later, Sonic and Amy were relaxing on her couch, which was now in Sonic's shack.
Amy had decorated the place in a minimalist design. The only pictures and paintings hanging up were ones that Amy has taken or painted of Sonic and their friends.
"Looks good, Ames." Sonic said. "I appreciate that you didn't make it look too girly."
"I appreciate you letting me redecorate this place." Amy said. She kissed Sonic.
Sonic put his arm around Amy as she laid her head on his chest and quickly falling asleep.
Amy smiled. "Great, but uh… what're we doing with my house?"
