Our little Broccoli fantasies about his dream man, Katsuki, and get ready for school!
0Unrated
Some things to know before reading:
Since my AU has no quirks, therefore Izuku never got bullied and no one moved into dorms. I’m keeping All Might though because of his importance in the plot as a guide for Izuku. Let’s just say All Might is a very popular person. Thank you, please enjoy.

A thin layer of uncomfortable sweat sticks to me and I take a moment to recollect myself after a terrifying nightmare about Kacchan denying my feelings in the most inhuman way.
I’ve had a crush on Kacchan since middle school, but of course he’s never noticed. We were friends. Still are now, but I feel like we’ve grown apart since the days when all I worried about was if I got the Limited Edition All Might card or not in those little blue plastic sleeves.
I get up and comb my fingers through my hair and I walk to my little bathroom across the hallway from my room. I shower, cleaning off my sweat induced body. Once I get out, I brush my teeth and my hair. I have to put curly hair products in, and it’s very annoying because I have to wear a bonnet at night if I want my hair to actually look good. I go back to my room and get dressed, and then I look in the mirror.
The mirror. I hate my reflection. I feel like the person looking back at me is ugly and weird.
How do I even have any friends if I look like this? I think to myself. I shake my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I walk away, going to the kitchen. I see my mom is already in here making me breakfast and coffee with her pink and yellow apron tied around her waist and neck. I walk up behind her and kiss her cheek and she laughs. I walk away again to pack my school bag. “Thanks, Mom.”
“You’re welcome, my baby boy.” She hums to herself, the same lullaby she sings everyday for as long as I could remember. In as soon as five minutes, she has my breakfast on a plate with a big cup of coffee waiting for me on the table. “Do you mind doing the dishes when you get home today? I have lots of errands to run, and I promised to help the neighbors with some cleaning things.” I sit in the chair aligning with my meal, digging in.
“I don’t mind at all, Mom. Do what you need to do,” I pause, shoving a bite of scrambled eggs in my mouth. “Is there anything else you need me to do?” I add.
“No, no, that’s all, love.” She smiles and takes off her apron to hang on a hook. I give her a thumbs-up and scarf down my food. I rinse my dishes and set them in the sink. I put on my shoes, coat, and backpack, making sure I don’t forget my coffee and my phone.
“Bye, Mom! Love you!” I call out, shutting the front door.
“Have a good day at school, hon!” She waves and I wave back. I walk down the hall of apartments and head to the elevator. I go down, and I start to walk to the city bus stop. Once I get on, I sit in the front. My stomach fills with butterflies, my body feeling light. My shoulders rise a little, a grin I can’t seem to wipe off my face. Kacchan lives nearby, and doesn't like driving to school, so he takes the bus too.
The next stop is Kacchan’s!
