Nearly a month had passed since I woke up in the fictional world of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's after that accident and it still felt surreal to me. Even so, I had been able to adapt to my new life while staying in Yusei's underground base. I could tell that he still doubted me, but he seemed to trust me more every single day. Rally, Tank and Blitz quickly opened up and accepted me. Ash did as well, but he still felt that I was hiding something. Nervin was still a bit apprehensive, but I didn't care. I had done nothing to lose their trust and wasn't going to resort to something extreme to prove that I was a good person. It took time to gain people's trust. The boys were nice and provided me with necessities, like a toothbrush, towel, clothes and even a notebook when I said that I liked to write a lot.
Since I was living in Yusei's place, I tried to help out to earn my keep, like cooking easy meals, cleaning the place up a bit, or even helping Yusei with his Duel Runner. When it came to hygiene, that was actually the toughest part. There was a functioning toilet in the subway where Yusei and I could do our business, but washing our hair or cleaning ourselves was a different story. There wasn't a shower, so the only way we could do that was with the washbowl in the toilet. Another problem was the hot water. We had to boil cold water in order to brush our teeth and wash our hair. That part wasn't a issue, but a issue for me was washing myself clean. I figured out a way to do that by soaking a towel and rubbing it against my naked body behind closed doors. It wasn't a ideal way, but it was better than nothing.
After staying there for a week, Yusei allowed me to take a closer look at his Duel Runner. He taught me a few things about programming and mechanics. While I didn't understand everything, it was nice to learn something new. My crush on Yusei faded over time as I got to know him better.
One day, after opening my satchel and pulling out my deck to see if it was the same, I realized that some of my cards were missing. Back in my dimension, I had added copies of Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon and Number 46: Dragulon to my Extra Deck, but they weren't there now. I had asked the boys if they had peeked around in my bag but they said they hadn't. Rally spotted my deck and excitedly asked if I wanted to duel. So, that day, I had my first experience dueling with a real Duel Disk and my first duel against Yusei. As you could probably imagine, I lost.
I also found out how old the boys were. Rally was eleven, the youngest of the six and Blitz was twenty one, the oldest. Nervin and Tank were twenty, and Yusei, to my surprise, was only seventeen. He did mention that his birthday was in July, and it was currently June, so he would soon be eighteen, just like the anime.
A few days ago, Rally found a expensive acceleration chip in the middle of the street and gave it to Yusei. It turned out that Jack had set it up for Sector Security to take care of him and his Duel Runner. Just like in the anime, Yusei defeated Trudge and returned safely.
This also meant that it was soon time for Yusei to head to New Domino City and take his Stardust Dragon back.
XXXXXXXXXX
Yusei and Rally had skipped work today to test his Duel Runner and see how fast it could go now with the new acceleration chip. I sat inside the hut and wrote in my notebook, using half of it as my personal diary, which I wrote in Swedish. My stories and other notes were written in English, just to make sure the boys didn't doubt my amnesia story.
I could hear Yusei drive past the base several times in a flash as Rally timed him. The way the Duel Runner sounded was like lightning flashing by. Perhaps Yusei could name his Duel Runner "Red Flash" one day. I laughed inwardly at my small joke as I wrote that idea down in the notebook.
I was also coming up with a few theories about how I ended up in this fictional dimension in the first place. A voice in the back of my head told me this was the Crimson Dragon's doing. But why would a fictional god choose someone like me to bring to it's world? Did the Crimson Dragon see something special in me or something? I doubted it was because of my dragon deck. And what happened to my existence in my dimension? Was I a missing person? Were my parents looking for me? I had so many questions that didn't have answers yet.
I looked up when I heard a soft knock on the wooden wall of the hut and saw Yusei standing by the threshold.
"How's it going?" I asked as I closed the notebook.
"Good." Yusei informed me. "I was wondering if you would like to go for a spin."
I looked up in confusion. "Say what?"
"We still have no idea where you're from and maybe we can trigger some of your memories if you're coming to New Domino City with me." Yusei explained as I stood up.
Well, that offer was intriguing, but what if my presence affected certain events if I went with Yusei? Was it worth taking the risk?
"Are you sure?" I asked. "I don't think I've ever ridden on a Duel Runner before, but I'd like to try."
Yusei smiled softly before he walked back to his Duel Runner where Rally was waiting with a stopwatch. I followed the young man and watched him get on the Runner before moving a bit forward to make room for me. I hesitated for a second before the curiosity won and I got on the Duel Runner. I sat behind Yusei and wrapped my arms around his waist, making sure I had a tight grip on him.
"Are you ready?" Yusei asked me as he revved the engine of the Duel Runner.
"I think so." I replied as I noticed that the Duel Runner didn't vibrate or rumble like normal motorcycles or motorbikes did. Was it because of the Ener-D engine?
"Time us a couple more times, Rally." Yusei instructed before he pushed the accelerator and drove off.
I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes as I sensed how fast we went. My heart was beating a lot faster, almost at the same pace as the Duel Runner, while the wind screamed in my ears. Once I got used to the pressure around me, I opened my eyes and saw how fast we were going. It was a weird yet amazing feeling. It was like we had become one with the wind. Was this the feeling of freedom?
"How're you feeling, Estelle?" Yusei asked after driving for a minute.
"Good...really good." I admitted as I looked over Yusei's shoulder. "It's like we've become one with the wind."
I felt Yusei's body rumble from a chuckle before he accelerated the Duel Runner. "Then hold on tight."
I couldn't help but smile at the feeling of freedom before I leaned my right cheek on Yusei's back and enjoyed the rest of the test run.

Tank, Nervin and Blitz returned early in the evening after a day of work in the recycling center, but they were covered in bruises. Yusei was busy working on the final adjustments for his Duel Runner, so Rally and I took care of the three while they told us what happened less then a hour ago.
"So this trio initiated the fight by tripping Tank and threatened him to buy them a new pair of shoes?" I summarized the story as I put a Band-Aid on Nervin's left cheek.
"Yeah, and they showed no mercy." Nervin replied as he rubbed his cheek.
"All better." Rally said after he put the last Band-Aid on Blitz's left cheek.
"Oh really? Then can you please explain to me why it still hurts so much?! I thought you knew what you were doin', Rally!" Blitz growled irritably.
"It's your male pride that hurts, Blitz." I told him as I closed the first aid kit. "You should've moved on and ignored the bully like a real adult."
"Yeah, but I won't stand aside and watch one of my friends be bullied!" Blitz muttered. "I guess I didn't know better when I stood up to that bully. Boy, was I wrong! I mean, they just ran us over!"
"I know. I didn't even get a chance to get into the fetal position." Nervin added.
"And now I gotta buy some new shoes for the guy." Tank sighed.
"He can go buy his own shoes, Tank. You owe him nothing." I told him as I patted his shoulder to comfort him. "He was the one who tripped you, meaning he should pay for the damage he did to his own boots, if there was even any damage to them."
"Guys, c'mon! Lighten up!" Rally exclaimed to cheer them up. "Yusei maxed out his Duel Runner!"
"Yeah? Like how maxed out?" Blitz asked as we turned our eyes to the raven-haired man who was still working on his Duel Runner.
"Enough to get outta here." Yusei answered as he looked up from the laptop that was connected to the Duel Runner.
Rally grinned like crazy. "You should have seen him and his Runner speeding through the tunnels! It was like whroom, then whoosh, then shroom! And the speed was no different when Estelle joined Yusei on the test drive."
"It was quite the experience." I smiled.
"Wait, so you're going with Yusei?" Nervin asked me.
I nodded. "Maybe I can trigger my lost memories in New Domino City or at least find some clues about my identity there."
Rally smiled as he turned to Yusei. "Yusei, are you gonna go for it tonight? You're gonna try to get to New Domino City?"
"That's the plan." Ash answered.
He also expressed his desire to head to New Domino City.
"Eh...does anybody aside from me have a bad feeling about all of this?" Blitz commented.
"I do, but that's not really saying much cause I've always got a bad feeling about everything." Nervin replied.
"Yeah, but don't worry, guys." Yusei spoke up. "Because I've got it all planned out. I think."
I chuckled softly before walking out of the hut and standing behind Yusei. I extended my hand and ruffled his hair, briefly distracting him.
"Don't say you 'think', Yusei. Say you 'know' the plan will work." I corrected him.
Yusei looked up and couldn't help but smile before he nodded. I removed my hand and watched him comb his upside down crab hair back into it's proper shape before he continued working on his Duel Runner. The others gathered around us to see what kind of plan Yusei had come up with.
"So what's this plan that you think might work, Yusei?" Tank asked.
"Oh, it's gotta work, Tank!" Rally exclaimed in a cheerful tone.
"Well, I hope you're right, Rally, cause if everything falls into place, Stardust Dragon will be mine again and we'll all be one step closer to leaving the Satellite." Yusei said before he became silent while typing on the laptop like a expert.
I could tell that the wound was still fresh in his heart after being separated from Stardust Dragon. That monster was a part of him, just like how Star Eater was part of me. Everyone had one card they feel connected to, like it was it's other half.
"Yus, are you sure the card's worth the risk?" Blitz questioned him. "I mean, you really think that card's gonna make a difference?"
"Of course it will!" Tank smiled widely. "Don't you remember the feelin' when you first saw it in action? Cause I'll never forget it! The Duel Runner Yusei built from spare parts from the recycling center was amazing! And then when Yus started it up and showed us what it can do, it was like a whole new world opened up!"
"Yeah, and then when he summoned his Stardust Dragon, I couldn't believe my eyes or ears!" Nervin smiled. "I mean, you were screaming at the top of your lungs, Blitz."
"That's right." Blitz smirked softly. "I lost my voice for a week after that. Too bad Jack took away our dreams."
I remained quiet and listened as they recalled the first time they saw Stardust Dragon. I hoped I would one day see the dragon with my own eyes. Stardust Dragon was a beautiful dragon in the anime.
"Well, Yusei's about to get them back, cause with his new Runner, Jack doesn't stand a chance!" Rally added before he turned to me with a bright smile. "And I'm sure you'll see Stardust Dragon too, Estelle!"
I smiled softly and patted Rally's head. "I can't wait to see Stardust Dragon myself. Maybe in a duel with Yusei after he gets it back."
"Yeah! What're we waitin' for?!" Tank nodded, looking ready for some action.
"I'm glad you asked." Ash replied.
"Normally trash floods the sewer line between the Satellite and New Domino City. Every month though, the system is shut down for maintenance. That will provide us with a opportunity to enter New Domino City." He explained while Yusei showed us a huge blue print.
"A sewer? That sounds...a bit...unhygienic." Nervin commented slowly with a twitching eyebrow.
"It's the only way to get out of here, Nervin." I told him. "It might be dirty, but we have to take that chance."
"Yeah, I get it, but...the odors and fumes alone-"
"...Remind us of you!" A new voice spoke up from the tunnels.
We looked up from the laptop and spotted a trio walking towards us with evil grins on their faces. I recognized the leader, Lenny and his two companions, Larry and Lug. They kinda reminded me of characters in a cartoon I watched years ago. What was it called again? Ed, Edd and Eddy, I think?
"Yeah, you stink like the garbage you recycle!" Larry commented as Lug laughed.
"How's the healin' goin?" Lenny asked sarcastically.
Yusei must have grimaced because Larry growled at him. "Hey, you with the hair! You think you're a tough guy?! Cause I'll show you what tough is!"
Lug just chuckled while he made the L sign with two of his right fingers. At this point, I could assume that he was mute.
"That's a pretty sweet Runner you got there." Lenny commented as he stepped closer while cracking his knuckles, obviously ready for another round with punches and kicks. "How much do you want for it?" His eyes wandered towards me and seemed to study me before his smirk widened. "And is your female friend there included?"
I shuddered in disgust after he said that, recalling Ash's warning about most of the Satellite's residents not having the best intentions with women yesterday.
Blitz stepped towards the front of Yusei's Duel Runner to shield it from the trio. "The Runner's not for sale, so beat it! And leave Estelle out of this!"
"Well, if they're not for sale, how bout you give them to me instead of the shoes we're here to collect!" Lenny persisted.
"That sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me." Larry commented.
Lug just chuckled or laughed again, still holding his fingers in a L shape.
I gritted my teeth as I held back my anger for how Lenny treated me. Did he seriously just view me as a doll?! Now I really wanted to teach him a few lessons about respect!
"Or would you prefer I go topside and tell Sector Security that you're hiding an illegal Duel Runner down here?" Lenny threatened.
Before he could carry through with the threat, Ash threw his shield which was lodged in one of the pillars.
"I have something else in mind." He announced. "Are you open for a duel?"
He then gestured at me. "How do you feel about facing her?"
Lenny snorted loudly. "Her duel me? A weak girl like her wouldn't be able to beat a grown-up man!"
"More like a grown-up baby who is still wearing his diapers!" I retorted, causing Lenny to turn red in embarrassment while I heard Tank, Nervin, Blitz and Rally hold back their laughter.
Lenny growled through his gritted teeth before he collected himself and became serious. "Well, how do these stakes sound? I win, and you and that Runner are mine." He pointed at me with a disgusting gleam in his eyes. "You win, and we leave you alone." Larry picked up a Duel Disk and strapped it onto Lenny's left arm, showing the boss of the three meant business.
"Don't duel him, Estelle." Blitz told me while I headed into the hut to get a Duel Disk and my deck.
"He's just a bully." Nervin added nervously.
"And bullies are the weak ones that need to be put in their place." I called out from the hut as I strapped a Duel Disk onto my left arm and inserted my deck into the deck holder.
I had my fair share of encounters with bullies during my childhood. Children targeted me because I used to be very sensitive and I cried easily. I couldn't comprehend what was happening around me and the only way I could express myself was by crying hysterically. My brain worked differently because of my autism and that was why I was a easy target. It was during my early teenager years that my mother and I had serious conversations about autism, so I could find answers to my questions and learn how my mind worked. After all those years of therapy, I was able to see things a lot clearer as a adult, I realized the bullies from my past were weaker than me because I always pushed myself to go to school, even though I wanted to stay in my comfort zone at home. I had become stronger thanks to the bullies. They gave me a experience that they probably never received during childhood and that made them weak.
"What do you mean they're the weaker ones?" Tank questioned. "They beat us up like crazy!"
I stepped out of the hut with the Duel Disk on my arm and saw that everyone was looking at me. "I'm not talking about physical pain, Tank." I pointed at my chest where my heart was beating. "I'm talking about the strength of one's spirit. You'll understand soon enough."
"But what if you lose to him, Estelle? It's not worth the risk of losing Yus' Duel Runner and yourself to those bullies!" Blitz tried to stop me.
I turned to Yusei's group with a tiny smile and serious expression in my eyes. "All I need for you to do now is trust me." I raised my left arm with the Duel Disk on it. "I'm part of your team now, and I will do everything I can to keep your dreams alive. Let me do this as a way to say thanks for letting me stay with you guys."
Tank, Blitz, Nervin and Rally looked at each other, concerned. I had a feeling that they were really scared about Yusei losing the Duel Runner and having their spirits shattered. Yusei had his poker face briefly before he nodded.
"Do it, Estelle." He told me, surprising his friends.
"But, Yusei-" Nervin began, only to be cut off.
"I seriously doubt she'll lose this duel." Ash remarked. "Good luck."
I nodded. "Make sure everything is ready for the trip tonight."
"I think I'll change the color." Lenny commented in the background.
"Don't do it, Estelle!" Tank panicked. "Please! This Runner is the key to our-"
"Future." I finished his sentence with a nod. "And I will protect your path to the future with the power of the stars."
"Well, your future is comin' with me, so you better start making new plans for tomorrow with your wishin' star." Lenny sneered.
We walked over to a large section of the subway where we could duel properly and without any interference. I looked at my deck and couldn't help but pray for a few seconds. I knew my deck wasn't the best, but if I got the right cards at the right time, maybe I could win this.
"Let's duel!" Lenny and I declared, initiating the duel by drawing the top five cards of our decks.
Turn 1: Lenny
Lenny: 4000 LP
Estelle: 4000 LP
I got Enemy Controller, Dragon's Rage, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Oracle of the Sun and Maiden with Eyes of Blue. A plan was already forming in my head, but I needed to see if Lenny would duel the same way he did in the anime.
"You can go first." I told Lenny.
"Too scared? Well, you should be. Here goes!" Lenny taunted me as he drew his sixth card. "I summon Chainsaw Insect in attack mode!"
A metal insect appeared on the field with pincers that looked like a pair of chainsaws.
Chainsaw Insect, Level 4: ATK 2400
"I've seen big bugs down here, but nothing that big!" Tank exclaimed in the background.
I wasn't a big fan of insects, but I noticed that I was able to handle insect Duel Monsters well. Besides, Chainsaw Insect kinda reminded me of a Pokemon known as Durant, so it wasn't that scary.
"And next, I'm playing the spell, Retribution of the Ant Lion!" Lenny declared, causing a spinning sand tomb to appear on the field. "I always knew that there were bugs down here in these tunnels. But you gotta trust me when I say that you guys haven't seen anything yet."
"C'mon, Estelle! You can do this!" Blitz cheered me on.
"Scared of creepy crawlies, huh?" Lenny taunted me again. "Well, then this duel will have you coming face to face with your worst fears."
"You got her shakin' in her boots, boss!" Larry called from the side while Lug laughed.
Turn 2: Estelle
"This is nothing compared to my absolute worst fear." I commented as I drew my sixth card. "If I will ever find out what that is." I was close to exposing myself to Yusei and his friends, so I added the last part to make sure I kept up my amnesia act.
I checked the sixth card and saw that it was One for One. I could use that later, but now it was my turn to make a move.
"Since you have a monster on your field and I don't, I can special summon Oracle of the Sun!"
Oracle of the Sun came out of a gate and knelled down in defense mode while holding his wand.
Oracle of the Sun, Level 5: DEF 2000
"Next, I summon Maiden with Eyes of Blue in defense mode." I added.
Maiden with Eyes of Blue jumped out of a new gate and sat down on her knees in defense mode while holding her hands and praying.
Maiden with Eyes of Blue, Level 1, Tuner: DEF 0
I placed Enemy Controller and Dragon's Rage in my Duel Disk. "I place two cards face down and end my turn."
"Hah! You really are afraid!" Lenny laughed. "Looks like you forgot how to attack!"
"I bet she won't even finish the duel." Larry commented while Lug laughed.
Turn 3: Lenny
"Well, there's only one way to find out!" Lenny added as he drew a new card. "I summon Pinch Hopper in attack mode!"
A grasshopper appeared next to Chainsaw Insect, and now I kinda flinched a little at the sight of it. It wasn't ugly, but it wasn't pretty either.
Pinch Hopper, Level 4: ATK 1000
"I see the fear in your eyes and it's only gonna get worse!" Lenny shouted as he sent a card to the graveyard. "Cause by sending a card to my graveyard, I can play Insect Costume and add a scarier insect to my hand!"
By playing that spell card, Pinch Hopper used it's energy to show the silhouette of Doom Dozer before it disappeared.
"You should enjoy this next part, cause now I have to destroy my Pinch Hopper." Lenny added as his monster shattered into pieces.
"But if he destroys a monster, then won't his life points take a hit?!" Tank shouted.
It certainly did. The sand tomb, or whatever it was that was spinning on the field, activated and hit Lenny with a bright light, sucking away some of his life points.
Lenny: 4000 LP - 3200 LP
Estelle: 4000 LP
Lenny looked stunned by the outcome and pretty confused. "What just happened?! Did I-did I just attack myself?!"
"I think Bug Boy forgot that he still has his Ant Lion spell on the field." Blitz groaned in discomfort.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his mistake. "Seriously, you should know what effects your cards in your deck have before using it."
Lenny got over his shock and acted like he was a professional. "Oh yeah, that was all part of my plan! Cause you see, by getting rid of my Pinch Hopper, I can do this; I activate it's effect and call out a creepier insect to the field to take it's place, like my powerful Metal Armored Bug!"
A bright purple light appeared on the field as it then turned into a huge, metal insect that nearly took up the duel field. It looked like a giant Cascoon with legs.
Metal Armored Bug, Level 8: ATK 2800
"When Sector Security dumped me here in the Satellite, I thought I'd spend the rest of my life sifting through the trash, but your friend's Runner is gonna get me out of this dump and back to where I belong." Lenny confidently smirked.
"I think it's feedin' time for your bugs, boss!" Larry called out as Lug laughed.
"Estelle, try imagining that bug as a soft, cuddly kitten!" Blitz yelled.
"I'm fine, but thank you, Blitz!" I shouted over my shoulder with a small wave of my right hand.
"Well, her imagination must be good if she thinks she'll win!" Lenny snorted. "And after this next move, your girlfriend's gonna wish she never challenged me!" Pinch Hopper and another insect monster appeared on the field before they fused together into a bright light. "I special summon Doom Dozer!"
A huge red centipede appeared on the field and cried out as it joined it's comrades. It looked like it was drooling.
Doom Dozer, Level 8: ATK 2800
Okay, so everything was proceeding like it did in the anime. Maybe I did have a chance if everything went according to plan.
"I bet your world's spinnin' round and round right now, isn't it? And it's only gonna get more out of control!" Lenny grinned. "Chainsaw Insect, it's time to attack!"
Chainsaw Insect activated it's chainsaw pincers as it rushed towards Oracle of the Sun. Now it was time for me to make a move.
"I activate my face down Quick-Play Spell; Enemy Controller!" I flipped up said card. "With this, I can switch your Chainsaw Insect to defense mode, stopping your attack!"
The controller on the artwork appeared on the field and sent it's cord towards Chainsaw Insect before it could reach Oracle of the Sun. The cord was attached to Chainsaw Insect's forehead before the buttons on the controller flashed, switching the insect monster to defense mode.
Chainsaw Insect, Level 4: DEF 2400 - DEF 0
Lenny snorted loudly. "Hah! Since your bug trap's all used up, let's see how you save yourself this time! Metal Armored Bug, attack! Take out her Oracle of the Sun!"
Metal Armored Bug dashed forward and struck Oracle of the Sun in his stomach. Oracle of the Sun cried out in pain before he was destroyed.
"When Oracle of the Sun is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, I can add either Supay or Fire Ant Ascator from my deck to my hand, and I choose Fire Ant Ascator." I declared.
The Duel Disk shuffled my deck until it was done and had a card half-ejected from it. I picked it up and saw that it was Fire Ant Ascator.
"And my spell Retribution of the Ant Lion is gonna soften you right up, tough girl!" Lenny taunted me.
The Ant Lion spell card drained 800 life points from me, causing me to flinch slightly from the effect of Solid Vision. I felt a tingling sensation in my body, as if I received a small shock, making my hair stand straight up briefly.
Lenny: 3200 LP
Estelle: 4000 LP - 3200 LP
"And now, Doom Dozer's gonna shock your Maiden with Eyes of Blue into submission!" Lenny shouted.
Doom Dozer fired a purple bullet from it's mouth at Maiden with Eyes of Blue who was still on her knees, praying for a certain blue-eyed dragon.
"I don't think so, because I activate Maiden with Eyes of Blue's effect!" I proclaimed quickly. "When Maiden with Eyes of Blue is targeted for a attack, she can negate the attack and change her battle position!"
Maiden with Eyes of Blue held her hands out and sent a gentle, blue beam at the purple bullet, shattering it into pieces, while she got to her feet.
Maiden with Eyes of Blue, Level 1, Tuner: DEF 0 - ATK 0
"Estelle stopped two attacks in one turn! Awesome!" Rally cheered.
"Maybe all hope is not lost yet." Nervin commented.
"And that's not the end of it." I added with a smirk. "When Maiden with Eyes of Blue's effect activates, I can special summon one particular dragon from my hand, deck or graveyard." I picked up the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand and slapped it on the Duel Disk. "So, Bug Boy, make your insects bow to...Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
Maiden with Eyes of Blue was enveloped by a blue/white aura before it shot up into the air and turned into Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The dragon roared towards the sky, making the insect monsters flinch.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Level 8: ATK 3000
Lenny's eyes widened after he saw the dragon, just like his two lackeys. Their jaws literally dropped to the ground.
XXXXXXXXXX - Yusei's POV
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the mythical Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Didn't that card belong to Seto Kaiba, the famous CEO of Kaiba Corp, who mysteriously vanished a few decades ago? How could Estelle have that card? Was she his relative or even a unknown daughter? She did have brown hair and blue eyes, just like Kaiba according to the pictures I saw on the Internet a while ago.
"Whoa...Blue-Eyes White Dragon is so pretty." Rally said, awestruck.
"How can Estelle have such a powerful card?" Nervin questioned as he adjusted his glasses.
"Yeah, she never used that card when she dueled you, Yusei." Blitz noted.
"But do you think she can win with her dragon?" Tank questioned.
"Depending on what she does next, yes." Ash added.
"I agree." I nodded slightly.
Even if I still had my doubts about Estelle, I believed in her. I had a feeling she would win this duel with flying colors.
XXXXXXXXXX - Estelle's POV
Lenny got over his shock by shaking his head violently before resuming his bad boy act. "Your big dragon doesn't scare me, girl! Besides, I've got three powerful insects that will crush the monsters you summon on your turn, and then you'll take damage from my Ant Lion spell card!"
"We'll see about that." I said calmly while placing my fingers on top of my deck. "Is your turn over?"
"Yeah, so make your move already and attack me!" Lenny growled irritably.
Turn 4: Estelle
"Gladly." I replied as I drew a card.
It was Dragon's Mirror, but it served no purpose now. Besides, I didn't even need it for my next move. I could end the duel in two different ways now. The first was summoning Fire Ant Ascator and synchro summoning Star Eater, then attacking Chainsaw Insect with Dragon's Rage active, but I felt like I should keep my ace dragon Synchro monster's existence a secret. The other option was to activate Dragon's Rage and have Blue-Eyes White Dragon attack Chainsaw Insect, inflicting 3000 points of piercing damage. Lenny would still have 200 life points, but those would be taken by Retribution of the Ant Lion.
"I hope you can find your own wishing star, Bug Boy, because this duel is over." I said, confusing everyone.
"Oh yeah? You're giving up right after summoning your big dragon?" Lenny grinned.
"Far from it." I retorted with a grin of my own. "I start my turn by activating the continuous trap card, Dragon's Rage!" Said trap card flipped up. "With this, when one of my dragons attacks a monster with lower defense than my dragon's attack, piercing damage is inflicted!"
"Oh no!" Lenny exclaimed while cold sweating in realization. "With that kinda power, my insects don't stand a chance!"
"Don't worry, boss! She's still afraid!" Larry called out to encourage Lenny. "Just throw some more of your bugs her way!"
Lug laughed as he nodded frantically.
"There won't be any more insects around here! Go, Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Destroy Chainsaw Insect with Destruction Burst Stream!" I shouted.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon roared before he fired white lightning at Chainsaw Insect. The attack hit the insect, consuming it in a explosion. The leftover energy from my dragon's attack hit Lenny with tiny white sparkles.
Lenny: 3200 LP - 200 LP
Estelle: 3200 LP
"And now, you'll have to pay the price because of your carelessness with Retribution of the Ant Lion, Bug Boy." I added.
Lenny's spell card activated and sucked away the last of his life points.
Lenny: 200 LP - 0 LP
Estelle: 3200 LP
"Estelle won! She won!" Tank cheered loudly.
"I'm not surprised." Ash remarked.
The Duel Disks automatically deactivated after Lenny's life points dropped to 0, dissipating our Duel Monsters and other cards on the field. Lenny fell down to his knees in shock over losing. I heard most of Yusei's friends cheering behind me as I felt tiny arms wrap themselves around my waist. I looked down and saw Rally grinning like crazy. I couldn't help but smile at the big grin.
"Man, I was so close to winning that Duel Runner." Lenny muttered.
I looked at him as he looked defeated and slightly lost. I shifted my body a bit, making Rally let go of me, so I could walk over to the bug boy and give him a piece of my mind.
"You shouldn't underestimate those you think are weaker than you." I spoke up, getting Lenny's attention. "I duel to keep my friend's future safe; a future that will shine bright for not just them but you as well."
"F-for me?" Lenny looked up at me in confusion while his two lackeys remained silent.
I nodded softly with a small smile before reaching my right hand out, making Lenny look at it with a surprised expression on his face. "You can become stronger by being humble and respecting the people around you, whether they're from New Domino City or the Satellite, because we all have value. Even you. And if you follow that path, you can become a inspiration for many people and become a star among stars."
Lenny blinked before smirking. "Man, I'm really no match for you." He took my hand before I helped him to his feet. "Estelle...maybe you and I can be friends someday." A gentle grin formed on his lips. "Next time, we'll duel topside!"
I nodded with a smile. "I'm looking forward to that day."
