Surge, along with Hip, met Manic on the steps of the school.

“Hey, babe, how was the movie?” Manic asked.

Surge slowly shook her head. “Thanks for telling us to put on the Rifftrax version.” She replied. “That was the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen, but we did get a good laugh at it.”

Manic walked Surge inside. “So how was our little guy last night?”

“Fine.” Surge replied. “You do realize this isn’t our baby, right?”

Manic gave an annoyed laugh. “Very funny.”

Manic and Surge walked into their classroom and took their seats.

Manic and Surge walked down the hall of the school with Sally, Shadow, and Manic’s siblings.

Manic sighed. “How do you get an ‘A plus’ in this class?”

“We got an ‘A’, why are you complaining?” Surge asked.

“I’m just glad I got an ‘A’.” Knuckles said, walking by.

“How’d we get a ‘B’?” Sonia asked.

Sonic tried to stifle his laughter. “Your doll was probably perpetually frightened by Edgelord.”

Manic laughed as Shadow punched Sonic’s arm.

Sonic rubbed his arm. “Then why’d you get a ‘B’?”

Shadow sighed. “You got me there.”

“What was your grade, then, Sonic?” Sonia asked.

“‘A plus’.” Sonic said, smirking.

“You’re kidding.” Sonia replied.

“No, he’s not.” Sally said. She checked her watch. “I have to head to my next class.”

Sally walked away.

“Yeah, I do too.” Sonia said.

Shadow, Sonia, and Soni headed for their classes.

Manic hugged Surge. “I’m proud of you for finally trying, Babe.”

“Thanks, Cute stuff.” Surge said, ruffling Manic’s spines.
