Sonic, Sonia, and Manic gathered at Sonic’s house. They sat at the table, drinking coffee.

“It was amazing.” Sonic said. “Spent the whole weekend at Emerald island. We went to this amazing restaurant near the beach.”

“Sounds awesome, bro.” Manic replied.

“What did you do, Manic?” Sonic asked.

“We stayed in, ordered takeout sushi and watched a movie on Valentines because Surge didn’t feel like going out.” Manic replied. “We went out to the mall the next day and got gelato at our favorite shop.”

“Cool.” Sonic said.

Sonia sighed. “Well, Shadow made my favorite breakfast, then we went to East Mobius for the day.”

“That sounds great, sis.” Manic said.

Sonic sipped his coffee. “What did Shadow do?”

“I thought he was gonna Chaos blast the coffee shop because Mindy didn’t know she could serve him coffee beans.” Sonia said. “Then he said revenge guac at the taco place.”

Manic and Sonic laughed.

“It’s not that bad, sis.” Manic said. “It’s funny.”

“I’m sure I can laugh about it later.” Sonia replied.

Sonic patted Sonia on the back. “At least you didn’t spend it alone, right?”

Sonia smiled. “Right.”
