Sonic and Shadow had made it back to the house before everyone else and were setting out the dishes as they walked in.

“I’m sorry about all of that, Mom.” Sonic said. “We really wanted it to be perfect for you.

“You put a lot of thought into it and I appreciate that.” Aleena said. She looked at Manic, Surge, and Kit. “At least those three didn’t get us in legal trouble.”

“I’m really sorry, Ma.” Manic said.

Surge nodded. “I’m sorry, Aleena.”

“I’m sorry too.” Kit said, pinning his ears back.

“I understand why you were… uhm… frustrated, Surge, believe me.” Aleena said. “Kit and Manic are a different story. I forgive you all, but please stop doing stuff like that, boys.”

“We will.” Manic and Kit replied.

“Alright, let’s eat before the food gets cold.” Aleena said.

Aleena looked at the massage chair, that was under a sheet, in the center of the living room. “What’s this?”

“It’s your present.” Sonic said.

“Happy Mother’s Day.” The triplets and Tails replied.

“Pull the sheet back, Ma.” Manic added.

Aleena pulled the sheet back and gasped. “Oh, I wanted one of these for years!”

“We knew you liked it.” Sonic said.

Aleena hugged her triplets and Tails. “Thank you, I love the chair.”

“You’re welcome.” The triplets and Tails replied.

“You’ll definitely need it after today.” Sonia said, hugging Aleena.

“It wasn’t that bad, I had a nice spa day.” Aleena replied. “Got a chair and my first grandbaby that I can’t wait to see.”

“Grandbabies.” Manic said. “It’s twins.”

Aleena hugged Manic.

“Congratulations, bro.” Sonic said, patting Manic on the back.

“Congratulations.” Sonia and Tails said.

“Thanks.” Manic replied.

“Okay, we’ll let you enjoy your chair, mom.” Sonic said.

Aleena hugged the triplets and Tails. “Thanks, love you.”

“Love you too.” The triplets and Tails said.
