To Fight the Coming Darkness

I like it!
I would have liked to have seen Mr Abbot try and survive being banished out the window, though.
Can't wait for more.Author's response
I searched for a legitimate way that Harry could inflict some well deserved pain as I outlined the chapter. Any way I tried it, it didn't work. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

I have to admit, I was kinda hoping that Rita would get hurt, just a little. Honestly, any reporter whose reaction to a pitched battle is to ask an adrenaline-soaked combatant, "How do you feel about surviving?" is a reporter who needs a spanking. Maybe her editor will manage to get some news out of her... Or maybe her editor will assign a real NEWS reporter to the next story. I've known too many responsible newspersons to find Skeeter anything other than contemptable.
Susan is getting stronger and more interesting by the moment.Author's response
Well cheer up, the battles aren't over yet. Rita ain't out of the woods yet... (Of course that guy trying to get into the woods proved that that can be just as dangerous.)~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

I really loked Susan and Hermione in this chapter. Let's hope something bad happens to Skeeter and all the Abbotts.

The whole Hermione scene was sort of a lampoon on all those portkey H/Hr stories where she lays out this huge argument why her and Ron would never be together. I decided to do the exact opposite in this case. Glad you liked the characterizations of Susan and Hermione that I have presented.~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

OUTSTANDING CHAPTER!!!! I loved every second of it, its about time you added some romance trouble with Susan and Harry. Now don't get me wrong I think they should have an ideal relationship but I do also think they should have some relationship problems too because no relationship is without its problems. I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter. I do however hope that they do work out their problems because I like the Harry/Susan relationship. Do keep up the amazingly awesome and outstanding work and update soon please:):):):)Author's response
Thanks! Harry's anger issues are building. He'll need to learn that Susan isn't just a blind follower willing to give unconditional support. He's going to have to give a little back...~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

Thanks. I wanted to get through the rest of the battles though. Real life came calling too quickly.~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

Just one nitpick correction for you: It's Zabini, not Zambini.
Sorry, it's one of my pet-peeves.
This chapter was pretty outstanding. Susan's argument made perfect sense, as did Harry's reaction. It's a shame we didn't get to see Peter Abbott flattened, but it's more important that Harry didn't hurt him.
Can't wait for your next update.Author's response
I fixed it already here. I'll fix ff.net later. I must have some kind of strange mindblock when it comes to that name. I do it all the time. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

An excellent chapter. I hope that Harry's spot of violence at attck at the house will help him cool down and get back with Susan. She is really good for him and he for her. Keep up the great work and, please, update soon.Author's response
Chapter 25 is now up. I hope that answers many of your questions. I could have sworn that I replied to this already. ~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow!!!! This past chapter is just amazing. This appears to be Harry and Susan's big fight. I liked the bit with Harry possessing Wormtail, that was a nice touch. I'm totally behind Harry in this story.Author's response
