  i don't think this is a "filler". I think it's important to let your readers know that izzy isn't only lying to her mom and joe about the abuse, but also to pete. very well written

  Poor Izzy gal. I would like to beat the crap out of Peter. I´m with pixied secrets on this one, it´s an important chapter and displays that Izzy is trying to please everyone and makes up more and more excuses for her abusive boyfriend. It´s so good that I´m not even gonna complain that Patrick didn´t show up. ;) Keep up the good work and update soon! Your story is so beautifully written it´s a pleasure to read it. :)

  With the other fic-whores on this one. Excellent chapter, you can see the detail and thought you have put into it, therefore it's much more than a 'filler'. It's interesting how Izzy is reclusing over the hidden side of her and Pete's relationship. It's accurate too as this is what most girls/women do when they are being treated like this, their love and disbelief that someone actually loves them too and the fact the Pete is saying sorry ( and by the way you write, he really means it too ) is counteracting the possible actions that Izzy would take if he was never sorry.
  
  Keep writing, this story could take so many twists and go any a mulititude of directions and I wanna know which way you're going to take it.

  half the time you want to hate pete for being abusive but then you just cant help but love him i hope this story ends happy :(
