Hmm...it has lot's of potential as far as I can tell. It's a bit confusing at the moment, but I'm sure things will become clearer as the story continues.
This story sparks many questions: is the Akatsuki village against Konoha, or were they just after the baby? Who's Akira? Is Orochimaru actualy alive, or is there a new and perhaps more powerful enemy who has, well...eliminated him?
What does everyone look like now? How old are they? Is Naruto married? Does Sasuke still have the curse seal?Caught in the Eye of a Storm

I absolutely love this story so far, but there was some things I was confused about:
a) When you say several of the rookie 'gang' perished do you include Neji, Ten-ten and Lee in that equation? I would assume so, otherwise Shikamaru wouldn't be alive since the 3 Konoha teams make up the "Rookie 9"
b)Also, Narutos' chakra is supposed to be red rather than the normal blue chakra, and I'm pretty sure Kakashis' dad was the "White Fang" because he had white chakra...
c)And there were a couple of spelling errors
Otherwise this is perfect!
