  that will be explained in a later chapter, but basically the family was massacred for being mixed Muggle/magical. The Muggle sister (Natalie MacDonald's mother in the original time stream) survived because she was on a girl guides weekend.

  This was a very nice chapter, no excitement but good background and building of the characters. Harold and Mary reacted realistically to finding out that the person who was their son is now a conglomeration of their son and their grandson. It could be nice comic releif, as the story progresses, to have Mary quizzing Harry on this girl or that one for James as she meets or hears about them.

  What a thoroughly enjoyable story - it is very cool how Harry has prepared so many things ahead of time, from the enchanted kitchen witch whispering to Petunia to the neutralization of Snape and Pettigrew and the letter ready for the moment his putative parents caught on.

  What another great chapter, the story is getting on quite will, and I can't wait to see what happens next. But I do wonder who Harry is going to full in love with.
  
  I love the gifts that Harry give to his friends, but Dumbledore and his socks... lol. I love what he had done to Petunia... LoL. :D
  
  Harry might not plan to marry Lily, but that doesn't mean he won't. Things changes, and I do hope that Harry James Poter will be born.

  I rather think Harry/Lily would be a bit too weird for Harry, no matter what he says, so he will be VERY close to Lily, but not THAT close. No, Harry's life-mate should be clear soon, if not already.
