The band was standing outside of the venue, waiting for the buses to come. Today was the day that they were leaving for their big tour with Fall Out Boy. The group stood in silence. Andrea had already started to cry and Ryan was trying unsuccessfully to calm her down. Lexi stood silently next to Brent, holding onto his hand tightly. As two large buses pulled into the parking lot, Lexi felt her heart sink. She realized that it was actually happening. Brent was really leaving her for four months. She clung tightly onto his waist as the buses slowed to a stop in front of them. Lexi and Andrea couldn't help but laugh when they saw how excited the guys got when they saw someone get off the bus and walk towards them they all quickly said their hellos.

"Are you going to introduce me to these lovely ladies?" The stranger asked, causing the girls to laugh again.

"Sorry... this is my girlfriend Lexi Green and Ryan's girlfriend Andrea Jones. Ladies, this is the wonderful Pete Wentz, the one responsible for signing us." Brent explained happily. Pete briefly hugged each of the girls.

"I don't think you quite understand what you have gotten yourself into Pete. These guys can be quite the handful!" Lexi teased, making everyone laugh.

"So I have heard. It's very nice to meet you both and I am sorry that this has to be so rushed, but we really need to hit the road." Pete said as the tour manager, Greg, indicated that it was time to go. "Hopefully you'll both get the chance to come hang out with us on the road!" He smiled and walked towards the bus, leaving the group alone to say their dreaded goodbyes. Spencer and Brendon hugged each of the girls, leaving the two couples alone in the middle of the empty parking lot. Andrea was crying even harder now and Ryan just pulled her into a tight embrace, knowing that there was nothing that he could say to comfort her now. Lexi clung to Brent's arm.

"Lex, I love you so much sweetie. I promise you that these four months are going to fly. And like Pete said, you guys will probably get to come out." Brent assured, kissing her softly. Saying goodbye was never easy to do. Lexi sighed as she pulled away from him. "Everything is going to be okay, I promise."

"I know... I just love you so much and I am going to miss you so much." She whispered, tears now falling from her bright blue eyes. She kissed him again. "You better get going though. Everyone looks like they're ready to go." Brent now sighed loudly, knowing that she was right. He pulled away from her slowly and told Ryan that it was time to get going. Ryan finished saying goodbye to Andrea and approached Lexi. Ryan, who was Lexi's best friend, pulled her into a tight embrace.

"I'm going to miss you... a lot." Lexi whispered.

"I'm going to miss you too hon, but I will text you all the time, I promise." Lexi laughed a little as Ryan held up his Sidekick. It was a well-known fact that Ryan suffered from an addiction to his Sidekick. It was pretty rare that he was ever seen without it. "Well... I should go. I love you."

"I love you too. Have fun." Lexi whispered, waving to Brent one last time before they both climbed onto the waiting bus. Lexi hugged Andrea as they watched the buses pull out of the parking lot.

"I am going to miss them so much." Lexi whispered sadly. They both climbed into Lexi's car and silently drove back to Lexi's house, neither one too sure what to say. They both flopped onto Lexi's bed. Andrea leaned over and flipped the radio on. She couldn't help but cry again when she heard I Write Sins playing on the local radio station.

"I want to be happy for them... I really do. They deserve this so much, but I just can't bare the thought of being away from Ryan for four months." She whined, resting her head on Lexi's shoulders. Lexi sighed and before she had a chance to respond, her Sidekick beeped loudly, indicating that she had just received a text message.

Hey Babe
We've been gone for half an hour... Feels like it has been forever. I miss you so much.
Hopefully you and Andrea are doing okay.
Love you, always.
-- Brent xoxo

Lexi smiled as she sat up on the bed. She grabbed a picture of her and Brent that was taken at the annual senior formal charity ball and held it tightly. It was the only way that she felt close to him. She laid back down, and drifted into sleep.
