It had been two hours and Pete still hadn't come back into the house. Patrick decided to go out to see him. He walked over to him and leaned on one of the poles that was holding it up.
"Why don't you come back in?" Patirck suggested kindly. Pete shook his head no. "Why not?" Patrick asked. He tried to hide uunder the small plastic slide becuase he hated his hat being wet. Pete thought about this for a moment. He didn't want to look up at Patrick so that he could tell Pete had been crying. /It's raining. No one can tell I'm crying/, Pete thought to himself. He looked up and tried to explain.
"Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz The Third! You've been crying!" Patrick gasped.
"Have not!" Pete shouted.
"Have too! Your eyes are all puffy!" Patrick said and hugged Pete tightly.
"I just want her back. That's all." Pete sobbed into Patricks shoulder.
"Don't worry I have a plan." Patrick smiled as Pete gripped onto him tighter.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Erin was the first one to notice the boys come back into the store. She almost fainted when she noticed Andy smiling at her.
"Izzy!" She whispered harshly. Izzy looked up to see Patrick running towards her and consuming her in hugs.
"Oh my god Patrick! What the hell are you doing here?" Izzy exclaimed excitedly.
Everyone except Charlotte was happy. Pete hadn't come to save her from eternal depression. Kamz was with her beloved Joe, Izzy had Patrick, and Erin had Andy. Pete wasn't even there. Charlotte shook her head and grabbed her jacket. She didn't want any of the crap mushy stuff anymore. She turned on her iPod to Forget December by Something Corporate* and walked out into the rain. The lyrics flooded over her and she felt them cut deep.
on christmas morning
outside it was pouring
all was hopeless in this home
and no one speaking
no one creeping
to see if she was on the phone
and u were quiet
this routine riot is all but practical to me
and if we see it why can't we be it?
can we let eachother be?
forget december
it won't be better than i remember it before
and this month only
would be so lonely
and not so homely anymore
new years eve came
but nothing had changed
all the problems just got worse
we sat in silence
the routine science could heal the sickness we reherse
and if im talking
my words are mocking
the deaf ears they have fallen on
these words are tainted
with years of jaded
in a sense thats all but gone
forget december
it won't be better than i remember it before
and this month only
would be so lonely
and not so homely anymore..
anymore...anymore...anymore...
forget december
it won't be better than i remember it before
and this month only
would be so lonely
and not so homely anymore
forget december
it won't be better than i remember it before
a silent night won't feel quite right
its not so silent anymore..
anymore...anymore...anymore...
on christmas morning
outside it was pouring
all was hopeless in this home
