Chapter 5 :
Jay couldn't sleep. No matter how hard he tried. He couldn't go to sleep without knowing that Theresa was safe. He twisted and turned all night long. His blue bedsheet was wrapped tightly around him. He woke to the sound of a loud thud.
He woke, sweat beads pooring down his face. His chocolate brown eyes tried to scanned the room for any moving objects. He saw none, but just because he saw none didn't mean there were none.
He pushed off the covers and put his feet on the ground. He got up and walked around a bit. Cautiously lifting various items and pushing them out of the way.
"Boo!" someone said.
Jay jumped backwards into a fighting stance. He recognized the voice but couldn't remember who it belonged too. His eyes had started to adjust to the light and he could see the outline of a man.
"Cronus!"
[Authors Note: This is a very short chapter as you can see. I have all the way to chapter eight written out but I will only put out one chapter every few days.]
