Beautiful. Just beautiful. I want to cry now. Poor Kazuki. pets him
Two grammar nitpicks: First, "...you really really am..." "Are" would be grammatically correct. "...and the refusal will stay on your veins and poison you both..." Did you mean "in your veins"? Other than that, it's perfect. I'm adding this to my favorites.
/Author\'s Response: Thanks for the review! Obviously, Kazuki is the GB character I find most fascinating. So complex, hmm...And thanks especially for catching those errors. >_Essence

Wait, I'm confused. Since you know that Kazuki is a guy, then did you write this in the intent of a yoai type setting? Because I'm just wondering. And plus, why does everyone make Kazuki like this? Is it not possible for him to get a girl? Does he have to always be with Juubei in a yaoi situation? Forgive my rant if it offended.Essence

I really enjoyed this story. I have no idea what niggling is. Still it was really interesting to read a Kazuki pov for the different events.Essence

You've just paralyzed me with joy. There's so much more to Kazuki than girly-whirly fabulousness and nurse costumes; he's not overtly angsty, but there's so many layers of grief and regrets to his character. I appreciate that you portray him as loving Juubei deeply, yet yearning for something more.
The line about refusing his ally and letting the rejection poison them both especially struck me. I think that Kazu-chan is a master of gently saying "no," but that it still stings him every time.
