She raised her pocket knife to her throat just as Archie stepped through her door.
"Atlanta, What are you..?" He asked stopping dead when he saw her and what she was doing.
"Why, You have so much to live for?" He didn't understand how the love of his life could do that.
"Oh Yeah? Like what?" She asked angrily, he was supposed to be her friend. He was supposed to understand.
"You have so many friends, you've got your little brother who looks up to you and you've got a purple-haired best friend who won't let you do this." He told her, taking the knife from her shaking hand. She gave him a look of despair.
"Atlanta, I" He started before being interrupted by Jay's echoing voice yelling for him to get downstairs.
'This time I'll pretend he didn't talk. ' He thought, looking at Atlanta and grinning sheepishly.
"You also have someone who loves you, who wants to spend the rest of his life with you." He finally half told her how he feels.
"Who?" She questioned, angry at his last attempt.
"Me. I always have. I always will." He told her. She looked deeply into his greyish-blue eyes.
And That's When They Kissed.
And They Finally Realised That They Were Perfect For Each Other.
And They Will Live Happily Ever.
And Will Always Remember That Kiss.
