Standing outside the Church i look around at the two hundred plus people that were here to see shannon off. i turn as mikey touches my shoulder. "you okay?" he asked
"Yea. I just wish she had known how many people really loved her."
"yea well let's go."
*Ten minutes later*
I watch as they lower her coffin into the grave. But as she asked i don't say goodbye. Instead i say, "I love you shannon. The next concert is for you."
As i walk back to the bus i thought i hear "i love you too" i think to myself, 'maybe she is still with me'
I get on the bus and i never forgot her
