How the hell did I agree to do this?

High up in the air, Sylvia remembered her all too familiar hate for planes.

Planes are the worst invention ever known to man.

The constant noise, stiff backed seats, disgusting food and odour sent unrelenting nasal fumes up her throat. With the beginnings on motion sickness tweaking as her stomach, she could barely remember Pete sending her off at the departure gate.

After 2 hours of tossing and turning in her seat, all her energy had drained out of her system. With 10 hours to go on the revolting plane and absolutely nothing to occupy herself with, Sylvia's mind began to drift peacefully back to her teenage years, when she was in the prime of youth. It was a time which had the potential to bloom into a blissful relationship with her first true love.

However, it was that one night. The horrible memory, the days she spent, wandering around as if life had forsaken. The hours she had spent, trying to dispel her severe hangovers.

Her school work had suffered badly. Her parents had nearly disowned her. She balanced and almost fell onto the slippery brink of drugs. That fateful night had changed everything between them and derailed their relationship until there was nothing left.

7th July

"Dude, our life? It does not suck," Ryan laughed as he looked at the man on his right.

Since forming a band with his childhood friends, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith and Jon Walker, Brendon Urie found that life had definitely perked up. It was never boring.

"You won't hear a complaint from me, man," he smiling. "That's for sure."

The atmosphere at The Green was electric, to say the least. Neon lights of every imaginable colour hung from the ceiling and swung in all directions facing the dance floor. The variety of drinks was incredible, mixed by expert and attractive female bartenders wearing barely there boycott shorts and baby dolls. Dancers and guests alike grinded, groped and gyrated on the dance floor while TV Rock's "Flaunt It" thudded through the heavy bass speakers.

"How did a motherfucker like Spencer get an invitation to The Green?" Jon asked, grinning like a fool.

"It's all about who you know man." Spencer replied, looking around the party with interest.

Brendon looked around the club, surrounded by tight young females, spilling out of their tops while mentally ticking off which girl he would decide to bed that night.

"Who on earth is that?" Spencer finally managed, his eyes drawn to someone entering The Green.

Ryan, seated with a plastic blonde, gave a careless look over his shoulder and stopped.

Following his gaze, Brendon spotted the woman who had attracted nearly everyone in the club's attention.

She stood at a five-foot-three, with flawless bronze skin practically oozing sensuality. Shoulder length glossy raven black hair cascaded in flowing waves around her head and added that "It" factor. Both eyes were a hypnotizing silver with the occasional sparkle as the dim lighting rested on them. Her nose was small and perfect, resting above a full set of pouty pink lips, holding a set of even white teeth which provided a dazzling smile.

Her petit form was obviously gym honed, but still feminine with their curves and long fluid limbs. Both legs climbed into a short black dress which fit her like a glove, accentuating her ample and voluptuous chest.

"Dude," Ryan breathed. "She is fuckin' fine."

Brendon was captivated by this glowing beauty and was more than slightly annoyed when a smartly dressed young man, followed by the curious eyes of many, advanced towards her. He watched on as she looked as his leering face and graciously shook her head and walked towards the bar. Even they way she moved was beautiful, he mused, kind of like a swan.

During the course of the night, Brendon kept throwing glances back to observe the particular /her/. If he wasn't very much mistaken, she was intrigued by him too. Judging by the way she sat, her back to the bartender, her body was screaming for him to come over.

Sylvia. What a beautiful name.

Of course, one thing had turned into another. He had talked to her by the end of the night and had one sizzling dance, which he was sure never to forget. They swapped phone numbers and from there, called each other every night. Slowly, they had moved on from phone calls to flirting, flirting to intimate touches, touches to kisses and finally back to phone calls and steamy phone sex. Both never met up regularly but when they did, it was a dinner they never could finish, no matter how hard they tried, before skipping straight to dessert.

Two months after their first meeting at the Green, they officially became a couple. But it was short lived.
