Heh. I wonder if Wormtail was actually planning to try to bareface his way out of the situation (maybe claiming Imperius or something).
That interview will probably blow the feet out from under the current Ministry. Umbridge will be sent to Azkaban so quickly that I think her shoes will catch light.
