STARING THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD
A tale straight from the grave

Intro: I got a scheme...

The big, bright, red afternoon sun descended slowly into the trees, disappearing, as it always did, into the horizon. The forest below it simmered a strange calm... almost as though nothing was left inside of it that was alive. Nothing stirred... the occasional bird, maybe, but that was it... such a mysterious forest... and that castle... that big, blue keep that soared over everything else.

The windows were dusty, and so were its passageways. A lingering, putrid stench ran through the halls, kind of like of something dead... for a long time. And, surely, a few skulls and bones sat there, a few with dust and others with maggots in them... "God, it really does stink..." thought a man who came wandering through.

He was a tall, slender and rather handsome young man. A delicate strip of red dye covered his normally-white lips, and his eyes had been carefully lined. If one didn't know any better, he could have been mistaken for a woman... Pff, faggot...

He dressed in an elaborate kimono, which rather dragged along the dusty wood of the halls... he whispered to himself as he went on walking... it was kind of the only thing he had to do, since his... master... was recovering. His footsteps were light on the wood, thanks in part to his socks... which, for some reason, were still white, despite the grime around... yuck...

Suddenly, though, a strange wind came through a distant window, and blew all through the hall... "Byakuya" the young man heard... he turned around... and saw whose harsh voice that was: a man, about his age...

"Master Naraku!" said Byakuya, shocked. He bowed a bit to his master, closing his eyes and trying all he could to look as humble as possible. "Stand up straight, Byakuya" said Naraku, in a harsh voice, "I don't need to see your back..." he murmured... "Ah, forgive me master" said Byakuya; standing up straight... he had forgotten about the scar, which his master didn't like to see...

Byakuya stared at his master... he had forgotten about Naraku and his... "Condition": Naraku looked like a deformed blob of living matter with feet, and a hand popping out from its centre. His face still had his red eyes and his black hair, but along with those were his now-black lips. The rest of his face was covered in a type of white sap, and it limped along, divided into what looked like tentacles...

The rest of his body limped down into the tentacles, and the white sap covered them, apparently trying to hold them together... a stench worse than the one coming from the hallway stung Byakuya's nostrils... and, to add to his held gag, Naraku's once-perfectly toned body was now a grotesquely fat blob... "You look great, my liege" Byakuya told his master.

Naraku chuckled a bit. Then, he asked Byakuya: "Do you realize something?" "What, my lord?" said Byakuya, "you are my only servant... my only loyal one..." he said, breaking into an insane laugh... This reminded Byakuya of all of Naraku's "servants"... all the dead ones, anyway. "However... I am a lord... a king... a general... heh... a ruler" he boasted...

"What is it you're implying, my liege?" asked Byakuya, curious as to what Naraku was trying to say... "A ruler needs followers, not a follower" he said... he turned around... and then said, in a low voice "I have something that will get me some..." "Really?" "Yes, really... look" and Naraku turned around...

In his hand was a tiny little pot with many, many holy runes engraved on it. "What is that, my lord?" said Byakuya... he extended an arm to touch it... however, it was smacked away loudly by Naraku, "ah ah ah, no touchy!" mocked Naraku, "it is a very deep secret... if you would like to see it; I need you to do something for me..."

"Anything for you, my lord" said Byakuya, curtsying lightly as he bowed, "what do you need?" "Well... find a village..." said Naraku, turning around and heading down the hall... "...murder everyone there..." he was at the corner... "... and bring me the body of one of them..." he was turning the corner... "... and he'll be the first to witness this power..." he murmured as he went down the other hall...

Naraku slowly crept down the other hallway, the wood creaking under his feet... after awhile, the noise was silenced... "sigh that guy is so sexy when he's like that!" trilled Byakuya, "well, better get going..." and he jumped out through a window...

His big paper bird soared over the forest around the castle... wind roared through his ears, whooshing, faster, harder...

"Now..." said Byakuya, erupting into a very eerie, sinister laugh... "I think that village will do!" he said, staring at a tiny little town... and then he descended, an insane cackle shrieking from his mouth... oh, what death and destruction would come... the horrors... ah, well, let's watch.
