This sound cool. As for pairing, I don't know Cho enough and ro me, Hermione & Harry just don't go. I see them more like brother and sister. Them as possible lovers is just wrong to me. What I am really interested in is the Malfoy/Black connection and how Draco comes out of all of this. He may not be the nicest person, but he does not deserve what Voldemort dishes out. With no one anti-Voldemort feeling fuzzies for the Malfoy family and being on V-Mort's Shatlist, Draco is almost for all intents and purposes ALONE. I swear I am not a Draco fan girl or something rediculous like that, but I do believe he needs to catch a break and one that doesn't involve death.Author's response
I am glad to have your opinion on the pairings. As for Malfoy, I agree with you he does not deserve what the Dark Lord hands out. He will figure in the story a bit later - roughly starting from Chapter 8/9. Thanks for your encouragement, and thanks for reading and reviewing.

This is definitely getting interesting and twisted. 'Twould appear that there are several parties in addition to the obvious three of the Dark Lord and his minions, Fudge and the Ministry, and Dumbledore and, to steal from another story, the Friends of the Frying Fowl. It should be "fascinating to watch the interactions as well as Harry's attempts to negotiate his way through mess and tangle.Author's response
Oh, yes - there are more than three sides. Harry needs a power base of his own if he is to take on Voldemort, so it is sensible he should have his own set of supporters. And when there are more than two sides, it makes sense to have groups try to eliminate less viable groups by any means they can.
Thanks for your opinion and reading and reviewing.

Oh, and as for pairings, it depends on how you present Hermione. I can see Harry with her or I can see him with a non-dark Slytherin (Daphne, perhaps?). You've also laid a small case for Susan Bones if he was to inform Amelia of the likely threat to her.Author's response
Thanks for your opinion on the pairings. As for Susan - well, I do not want to spoil things for you, but you will find out about her and Amelia in
Chapter 5.
Thanks for your opinion.

Good story. I would prefer to see some well done HP/CC, as that ship is not seen very much any more, whereas HP/HG is still quite common.Author's response
Thanks for your opinion on the ship, and the encouragement. I agree with you that Cho gets a rather raw deal; well, I will be developing her in the story, regardless of the ship.

Interesting use of Nott, and a good alternative to canon, where the 12 nasty Death Eaters are nearly fought to a draw by 6 teens. And, given only the choice between Hermione and cho for Harry, I'd go with Hermione -- since ron seems easy to set up as internal opposition to any alliance with Slytherin, while Hermione would back Harry.
If you aren't set on one of those two, and if this is part of a Voldemort plot, Harry/Daphne could be interesting.

I believe in the Evil Overlords' list - no uber heroes or villains; everyone follows some basic rules in the universe.
Thanks for your opinions regarding the ship, and thanks for reading and reviewing.

Depending on where your story goes next, it looks like the beginning of a good original story, and I hope it will remain that way. Please make it a Harry/Cho pairing, as Harry/Hermione pairings are very common and more often than not, a bit boring. Anyway, good luck with your writings and I’m looking forward for the next (Hopefully soon) update.Author's response

Hoping for Harry/Cho and if not that then either no pairing or Harry/Daphne.Author's response
Thanks for your ideas on the pairings. I will be developing all three - Cho, Daphne and Hermione regardless of the ship (which, I might add, I still have not decided).

So before I start, as for the ship - Harry/Hermione or Harry/Cho, I would like to see Harry/Hermione/Cho, if you can't do that I ask for Harry/Hermione, as I like that better then Harry/Cho.
So Harry learns a few things, about the bettle in the MoM. And learn he can do magic.
So 'til next time, keep up the great work and update soon.Author's response
Thanks for your opinions regarding the ship. As for magic over summer, well - my interpretation of underage magic law is that it requires qualified personnel to watch over any underage wizards/witches attempting magic - it makes no sense that those who do not attend Hogwarts are prohibited from doing magic ever.
