sorry i havent updated in a bit first i was grounded, then my computer wasnt letting me on my account but heres an update soory its not a super intresting chapter but i dont want to rush the story this is more of a fill in. hope you enjoy it anyway
I guess we must have fallen asleep because I awoke with my head on Mikey's chest and our legs entangled. I quietly dislodged myself and went into the kitchen to make coffee.
No sooner had I turned the pot on did I hear someone behind me ask
"Got any coffee?"
I turned to face the voice
"Yes, Gerard, just put it on"
"Um k" he mumbled before taking a seat at the table
I waited for the pot to brew and then poured us our cups.
"Ok, I'm going to be the protective big brother now"
"Ok" I laughed
"Do you really like my brother? I mean for him not as the bassist of my chem..."
"Yes, I like him very much"
"Good, because he really likes you and it's not very often he gets up the courage to talk to someone he likes. Don't break his heart or I swear all of us will make your life miserable" he said sternly
"I promise I won't"
"Alright"
With this Gerard got up and walked back into the living room with his coffee
I sat and thought about what Gerard and said for a bit.
Ok so mikey really does like me. Wow never in a million years would I have thought that mikey way would like me. I wonder if he'll ask me out now or just be too nervous and then everything would be awkward. I guess I could ask him out. But usually I don't do that. Once I let them know I like them I wait for them to make a move. Bu then again mikey is pretty shy maybe I should.
I debated with myself for another minute or so and then joined the others in the living room.
Frank, Zack, and Gerard were the only ones up. Mikey, ray, and bob, were still sleeping. But as soon as I sat on the edge of the couch mikey rolled over and opened his eyes.
"Morning sleepy" I smiled
"Morning" he grumbled back "could you hand me my glasses" he asked pointing to the coffee table.
I gave them to him
"There now I can see how pretty you look"
Wow apparently he wasn't as shy in the mornings
"Thanks mikey" I said kissing him on the cheek
Ahhh there was that oh so familiar blush
We all laid there in silence, occasionally getting up for a fresh cup of coffee, watching cartoons all morning.
It was around noon when my cell phone rang
~ ~ ~ ~ yet another phone convo ~ ~ ~ ~
Hello?
Hi, it's Jodi
Oh hey what's up?
Just wonderin' if there's band practice today
Um ya sure
Ok cool what time?
Ummm like half an hour?
Ok that's good
Oh and when you get here I have a surprise for you
Ohhh what is it?!
I'll give you a hint, its small
"Oh that narrows it down" she remarked sarcastically
"I thought it would" I replied smugly
~ ~ ~ ~ end ~ ~ ~ ~
"Hey Zack Jodi's coming over for practice today would you call Joe and Kate?"
"Why cant you?"
"Cause I don't feel like it and plus they don't listen to me"
"Fine"
Zack called Joe and Kate and they were coming
"Ok guys I'm having my band over practice and you can stay if you want but you don't have to"
They all exchanged glances
"We'll stay" Gerard announced
"Ok just um this time if I tell someone to run, listen"
"Ya I learned my lesson the hard way" frank glared at Zack
We waited around for about fifteen minutes a then heard a knock at the door
"Ok, guys stay back I'll get it and Zack prepare to hold someone back"
They guys all retreated with nervous faces and I looked through the peep hole
"Never mind its just Joe he won't know who you guys are."
They didn't look too convinced and stayed back
I opened the door and let Joe in
"Hey Joe"
"Kayley, Zack" he greeted with that weird nod of the head that guys do
"Hey, who are they?" he asked motioning to the guys in the back
"Oh just some friends" I replied with a smirk
"Oh hey I'm Joe" he directed toward them
"Hey" they replied back
Then the doorbell rang again
I looked through the peephole this time it was Kate, I guess we were saving the worst for last.
"Ok guys" I briefed them "its Kate she knows who you are but wont freak out but she might talk to Gerard more"
They all nodded in understanding
I opened the door
"Hi Kayley, hi Joe hi Zack, hi... wow Kayley how did you get my chem. In you living room"
"Um well I'm not exactly sure"
"Okayyyyyyyy anyway hi guys I'm Kate"
"Hi" they replied still keeping their ground
"So how come you guys are in Kayley's living room?" she addressed them
"well our bus broke down, then she helped us find a room, then we got food, then she kissed mikey, then we slept here, then we woke up, then we had coffee, and then you guys came." frank said spastically (is that even a word?)
"Wow, you really are hyper" Kate laughed
"Ya maybe we shouldn't have let him have 4 cups of coffee" Gerard replied
"Wait did you say she kissed mikey?!?!?" Kate asked befuzzled (another not-so-sure-if it's-a-word word.
"Um maybe" frank said not remembering exactly what he said due to his short attention span.
"Did you?" she turned her attention to me
"Um Ya..." I admitted
"Wow weird you've wanted to do that for like what 2 years?"
"KATE!!!!" I scolded
"Oops" she rebuttled
"You've wanted to kiss me?"
"Um well..." I started only to be saved by the bell (ha! like the reference?) This time I knew who it was and I was scared. And not because of what Kate had said.
for all of you that guessed iron maiden for the contest thingy-ma-bopper get to be in the fic so send me a message with you name and what charector you want to be frank's girlfriend and mikey's girlfriend are already taken. no new people can guess because i told you the answer. review please.
