How about you get rid of the whole ship and just make it so that Harry has close friends and taht is it? No offense but it is incredibly difficult for those who don't like the Harry/Hermione ship to get the edge vote wise when you announce that there is a possibility of this being Harry/Hermione, even if there are more then valid reasons not to have him with her.Author's response
I am sorry you feel ripped off. In fact, I gave double weightage for Cho votes (every one vote was counted as two). Besides, I gave my word that it was a poll and I tried to be as fair as possible.
As for Cho, regardless of the ship, she is a very prominent character in the story and I will be developing the character. The ship is very mild and Harry/Hermione is not going to be prominent. The accent is on the plot, not on sappy romances.
Thanks for your opinions, and thanks for reading and reviewing.

I don't care what people say, I love Harry/Hermione stories more then Harry/Cho, as I don't see Harry and Cho together, they've got nothing in common.
Ginny seems ok with the Slytherins then Ron. The fool. Not all Slytherins are evil.
I hope that Sirius will be enforced, but I think a hard road ahead before that happens.Author's response
Sirius will is a story of its own, and the Slytherins are going to be involved in a lot of manipulations and counter manipulations. I am glad you approve of the ship - I will be continuing with Harry/Hermione in the story.
Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I'm glad it will be H/Hr and I have no problems with it being a very quiet ship. That distracts less from the plot but still adds a little welcomed flavor in a few spots as we go along.
So the eaters have their own agenda, which doesn't surprise me in the least. It did surprise that there was no reprisal by Voldemort against the 'ministry 6' and their families in canon, but you've dealt with that nicely here.
Ron is important because you need someone to doubt allegiances as long as it isn't counterproductive.
Dumbledore's reactions will be interesting in the chapters ahead.
Thanks for writing.

I am afraid writing romances is not my strong point. The ship will be a very mild one. Thanks for your opinions regarding the ship.
The Death Eaters have a lot of things to consider, and they are desperate to get away from Voldemort. The story has a lot to do with history, and there will be a considerable bit of insight into the history of both Voldemort's progress as the Dark Lord, as well as the Death Eaters.
As you mentioned the reprisals against the Ministry six was on the cards, but there is a deeper bit of manipulation going on there. You will find out reasons later on. Dumbledore is playing the game for all it is worth.
Ron is being - well, Ron - jealous and prejudiced. But he is not going to betray Harry.
Thanks for your opinions, encouragement, and thanks for reading and reviewing.

Just discovered this story and so far very good. I see that you've chosen the pairing already, but although H/Hr is my favorite ship i would love H/Hr/ChoAuthor's response
I am afraid I am not sure that I can pull off a threesome credibly. My romance writing skills are not too good. Harry/Hermione will be the ship, but the ship is a very mild one, and Cho will remain a very prominent character in the story.
Thanks for reading and reviewing.

More great chapters! Harry has suppoters, even in the house of snakes. Draco is still a small-minded punk. I'm guessing, from the way she was talking, the female benifactor at the Granger's place had to be Bellatix, although I'm not ceretain that is a good thing. As someone once said, she has only a passing familiarity with sanity.
It pains me to know of th death of the elder Longbottoms. Given the depridations of thhe Death Eaters in tthe pastt, especially given what Bella and gang did to Frank and Alice, nothing could polarize Nevillle against Voldemort more than that. Now, h'll b eeven more supportivee oof Harry, assuuming of courrse, he does not go off the deep eend, and atttempt a suicide atttack. More, Amelia Bones is also dead. She was had of the police force. Without her to oppose him, Fudge will gut the Auror corps. I often wonder if he's an unmarked Death Eater. His purist policies thus far seem to indicate that he is at least supportive of voldy. Poor Susan is now completelly on her own, as is Neville. Harry will, of course offer them any assistance he can.
Dumbledore is not only doing nothing to prepare Harry, he is actively preventing his training. He is using everybody as his personal playthings. His chess game with riddle, is costing too many lives as it is. I wonder who is worse. At least Voldemort is keeping to what he says.
Militarily speaking, Ron is a significant danger to Harry and his designs. His jealousey, when combined with his inferiority complex and his hatred of his relative poverty, make him prime recruiting material for espionage, or even sabotage. Ginny, is still an unknown, but as she does in fact owe Harry her life, she is more certain than Ron.
I have the feeling that Cho's mother will be a major player, at last in thee firstt stages oof this saga.
Harry's bestt chance Is to take advantage of the ancient law and put on the Black's ring. When it accepts him, his legal status will become a fait accompli.
As before, I eagerly await the next page of 'Black Vengeance'. AlorkinAuthor's response
Well, Draco is not really so much a hardcore supporter of Voldemort. I think he is in love with the concept of lording it over others. He will learn a few nasty lessons soon. As for Harry, yes he will be increasing his influence outside Hogwarts soon.
As for Bellatrix (as you have guessed from the action) - well, I will be looking at Bella from a very different angle. I have seen different interpretations of Bella - as a fanatic supporter of Voldemort, as an insane woman, as someone who has been abused by either Voldemort or her husband (or both). I will be keeping the information given in canon, and will be developing her in a different way.
In the latest chapter (Black Vengeance 7), you will find another turn. Neville's history is intimately connected with Harry's, and it is by discovering Neville's history that Harry will discover his own. As for Amelia, well - that has its own significance. It has to do with Ministry politics and the present climate.
Dumbledore is playing a very deep and unpleasant game. You will find out more about his motivations in chapter 9. He has a lot at stake and he is playing the game for all it is worth.
Ron is being - well, Ron. Prejudiced and jealous. He has a lot of problems with Slytherins. Mrs. Chang is a shrewd law witch, and she is going to play a fairly serious role. As for Sirius' will, the implementation is a long and arduous task, and will develop as the story progresses.
