Chapter 4 Slythendor
Harry sat staring up at the cold dungeon ceiling in Draco's room, taking care not to wake the sleeping blond curled up at his side. How long had this been going on now one month? No it seemed more like two. Harry shifted, and felt Draco unconsciously shift closer to him so that he was lying on his chest, which caused him to sigh. Truthfully of course at first he was upset about how their little "friendship" had turned out, but after a few weeks it took him to get used to the "changes" it seemed to fit him as well as his Gryffindor life had. Possibly even better since he had Draco, but in all his wildest dreams he never thought this would turn out so odd in those few days. He could only blame all the mishaps on a certain red eyed prat that seemed set on ruining his life.

Draco had just released Harry's lips when Hermione and Ron came running up. Harry couldn't help but sigh at the sight of his "valiant protectors" He hadn't even had time to explain his plan to Draco. Not that the blond would listen anyways, but if he was going to keep some of his dignity through this he figured he might as well throw in some pointers on how this "friendship" was going to go. His hope for a peaceful solution ended when he saw the look on Draco's face as the two Gryffindor's approached. Knowing the Slytherin was going to take over all he could do was put a hand on his forehead, and hope serious injuries wouldn't be caused over this.
"Get away from him Malfoy. Go back to the dungeon you crawled out of...Harry doesn't want your germs infecting him." Harry thought he was going to die when he heard Draco's cruel laughter.
"And why would I want to get away from my new bestest friend...huh Weasel?" Harry looked up when he heard Hermione laughing.
"That's weird Malfoy. I don't see any invisible people here, and if you're talking about Harry...well that's just funny." Harry just wished there was a hole that he could crawl into and die. Anything would be better than this. He could tell Draco was losing his temper and was about to blow, which would be even worse for his two friends. So in an attempt to fix the situation he placed a hand on Draco's shoulder to calm him just as he was reaching for his wand. Seeing the blond's smile, and then his friend's gasps, he released it and looked at them. Hermoine was staring wide eyed, and Ron was glaring at him with a look of complete and utter disgust on his face.
"You were saying mudblood?" He heard Hermione gasp, and saw Ron wave his wand, and knew it was now time to calm his red headed friend whose angered face was now beginning to rival his hair.
"Ron calm down...I'm sure Draco didn't mean it." A shocked Ron lowered his wand, and now glared at Harry. He could think of a few ways to sort this through...all of which were ruined by the blond.
"I don't need your defense Potter. I could take this pathetic Weasley any day, and I did mean what I said...she's disgusting! A disgrace to the wizarding world...as a matter of fact they both are." Harry clenched and unclenched his fists in anger. He really wished Silas dead at this point for making him do this, and really really wished he could use the crucio curse on Malfoy. He turned to the blond mouthing 'please' before turning again to receive two scowls.
"Harry you better explain this now before I get the wrong idea and start believing Malfoy...fuck that sounds bad..." He breathed deeply, realizing for the first time what serious affects this might have.
"Well...err umm you saw Ron, Hermione...I thought...Well I thought." He was about to mentally kick himself for gaining the ability to stutter when an arm snaked around his neck, pulling him back against Draco.
"He's realized he needs real friends...not pathetic excuses like he had before...not pathetic excuses for wizards...he wanted friends." Harry could have died right there. You know died or killed a certain blond, which ever one tickled his fancies, and at that moment he was seriously leaning on the latter. He hesitantly looked up at his two friends. Ron looked as if he would burst, and Hermione had small tears running down her cheek. Why had he done this to him? He unconsciously leaned back, not knowing if he could stand without support. Draco, seeming to realize this, tightened his grip and glared at the people in front of them.
"Harry tell us it's not true...tell us that me and Ron are your friends. That you're not leaving us for the Slytherins..." Harry would have walked forward if the grip on him wasn't so tight, preventing him from moving let alone leaving. Though his next words would piss the Slytherin off greatly, he knew he had to say them, after all they were his two best friends.
"No it's not like that at all, listen to me! This doesn't mean we can't be friends...this silly house rivalry is ridiculous." Harry felt Draco's arm tighten, obviously not pleased with the statement. "Just because I'm friends with a Slytherin doesn't mean that our friendship will change."
"BUT HE'S A MALFOY!" He raised his eyes at Ron's outburst. Not entirely surprised, but still a little shocked...though he would have to get over that fact as Draco stepped in front of him. He pushed Harry behind him and raised his wand, fully intent on fighting, and if the situation wasn't so dire he might feel a little jovial inside from the blond's way of protecting him.
"Oh yeah Weasel, and what is so wrong with the Malfoy family? Tell us all, I would really like to know." Ron was about to respond when Hermione interrupted.
"The better question is what's not wrong with them...besides being selfish, rude, arrogant, and obviously evil." The pair was actually standing quite close now, and Draco, forgetting the wand, reached out and grabbed the girl's arm, making her cry out.
"Say it again...say it again if you dare!" Harry saw the red head's wand pointed at the blond's head, and Draco seemed to notice too, for while having hold of Hermione's arm he pointed his wand right back. "Do your worst Weasley...I bet I'll beat you."
"I wouldn't count on that Malfoy...you disgusting excuse for a human being." Harry's head was spinning. Why did things always have turn out so crazy? It's not like it was that big of a deal. It wasn't like he said he was joining up with Voldemort or anything! He was simply trying to put the childish feud behind them, and maybe become friends. At least that's what Hermione and Ron thought, or at least should think. Harry's temper was getting the best of him, and before he knew it he blew up on both parties.
"WOULD YOU GUYS STOP!" Everyone's eyes turned to him. "Bloody fucking hell, I didn't know people could be so childish...for fucks sake it's not like I said I was gonna go kill someone or something! There is no reason any of you should be here with knives at each other's throats...or in this case I guess it would be wands at each other's heads..." Ron looked down, lowering his wand, and after a stern look from the still fuming Harry, Draco dropped the girls arm, and followed suit. "Good that's better. Now can we please all try to talk this out like civil people?"
There was a silence between the four of them as the drama had faded, but lingering questions still hung in the air, and they all knew that despite how much they wanted to forget this day ever happened, there were still issues hanging in the air. It was Hermione who first tackled these so called "issues" "Well if nobody has any objection I know a private study room on this floor...With all the shouting it's a wonder we're not surrounded with people by now. I suggest we go there to talk." With several nods they followed the girl through a portrait that led to a room with a bookshelf, table, couch, and two comfy looking chairs.
Ron and Hermione took the couch, and Harry sitting nervously in one chair couldn't help but glare at Draco as he plopped over the side of his chair, patting his lap as looked at Harry seductively. Thankfully the other members of the room didn't see what the blond did, because they were focused on him. He tried to ignore there glares, and instead looked at the ground. "Okay Harry me and Ron are here because you wanted to talk...so talk." The girl waved her hand invitingly, and Harry realized he had no idea what to say. He nervously glanced at Draco, who only shook his head and sighed.
"Really you Gryffindors are quite pathetic. A mudblood, a weasel, and person who lately can't get out a single sentence nowadays, and if he manages it he becomes a stuttering mess." All three were now glaring at the blond, but he put up a hand to dumb down their replies. "Anyways you keep asking Harry why he can't become my friend? So I ask you, since a certain someone isn't capable..." At this he looked towards Harry. "Why don't you want him to become my friend?"
Ron immediately burst out. "Because you're a Malfoy, and a Slytherin, and you've hated each other for six years, and..." Harry saw Draco roll his eyes, obviously disgusted with this response. Hermione though got a questioning look in her eyes, and begin to look both the boys over.
"You have hated each other all these years...what changed now, and don't give me that 'grown out of my childish ways' sputter you were mentioning before, because we all know that's not true." Draco snickered at the obvious insult to Harry, but said boy had no answer for the girl. The truth was not an option...neither half of it. He absolutely couldn't say that him and the blond were lovers. The other half about Silas he knew he couldn't say either. He had threatened them, and seemed to know what he was doing at all times. He also doubted that the red-eyed boy would like it if he told anyone, especially his friends. He had no answer to give her, so he gave her the only one he could.
"I don't know." He hung his head, knowing this was not going to be enough. Not enough for any of them probably. Ron who had been silent for a time lifted his head, and decided to give Harry a piece of his mind.
"You don't know? You Don't Know!? Do you think that's good enough? Well fuck you Harry! You've been acting strange for days! You come back from Merlin knows where blood soaked and injuries everywhere, you don't tell me the truth...I said ok to your lie. You barely talk to any of us anymore, and when you do it's like you really aren't...I let it slide...but you're obviously fucking one of those disgusting Slytherins! That's why you had cum all over you that one time...and if you think I'll let you become friends with a Malfoy so you can get laid by one of those Slytherin whores you've got another thing coming!"
Harry definitely wasn't expecting that. He heard Hermione gasp, but the worst part was how Draco nearly fell on the floor due to the fact that he was laughing so hard. Harry glared at him, and was returned with equal gazes from his two friends. While the blond was still rolling on the ground he looked at Ron surprised he had come so close to the truth. He was practically right except it wasn't a girl Harry was nailing, and he didn't know about the whole being threatened into it. He raised his eyes as he saw his friend in a new light.
"What the fuck are you laughing about Malfoy...get it right did I?" Draco had now salvaged himself enough to respond.
"Something like that Weasel...well well well. Who knew a Weasley could be so quick...you must have really looked like shit Harry." Draco looked like he was going to burst into laughter, but he quirked his head to the side and gave a genuine smile. "Well the cat's out of the bag Harry should we tell them?...I was getting tired of your pathetic lies anyways." Harry frantically shook his head no, and Draco's smile turned into his evil smirk. "No? Why are you embarrassed?" He saw the rising storm that this was leading to, and to keep the blond happy shook his head again. "Good. For a second there I was gonna have to back out on our little arrangement." It was at this moment when he realized he really hated the blond sometimes. There was no way he was going to talk his way out of things now that those words were said. He knew they wanted to know, and sure enough the questions came. First from Ron, and then a pissed off Hermione.
"You really made an arrangement to get laid...for fuck sakes Harry that's pathetic."
"You're sleeping with a Slytherin girl?!...you were going to leave us for a Slytherin girl?!...what's so good about them huh?" This resulted in more laughter from Draco, but he stood up standing over Harry.
"Bit jealous are we mudblood? Can't have Potter all for yourself...must irk you terribly that he chose a Slytherin over you." Harry felt the hand on his shoulder tightening possessively, and wondered if the girl was the only one who was jealous. Then another thought struck him.
"Hermione doesn't like me." He realized that he had spoken aloud, and earning a dirty look from three faces he slowly sank into his chair. He really was starting to lose his spine...maybe he should have been put in Hufflepuff. He almost snickered at the thought before he remembered the situation that was going on. "Do you?"
"I...I...well yes I have feelings for you Harry, and how dare you betray me like this! Remember when we kissed it wasn't that long ago I thought it meant something to you." She reached out, putting a hand on his thigh. Sadly Harry knew what was going to happen, and all he could do was brace himself for impact.
"Take your fucking hands off him you disgusting mudblood scum!...Kissed him! Kissed him did you? Don't you ever even mention that again...the thought that he would lower himself to even being friends with you is enough but." Harry felt the grip on his shoulder tighten, and he almost cried out in pain. "But to actually touch you...to kiss you." Draco seemed to lose it at that time, because he flew forward grabbing the girls throat. "Nobody touches what's mine."
It was like the entire argument was put on pause, two of the Gryffindors were staring wide eyed at the blond...while the other looked like he was going to kill him. "Did you just say Harry belonged to you? Just because you made some stupid pact doesn't mean that...ohhhhh" Realization seemed to dawn upon the girl, and she looked at Harry, who at this point was about to explode, and then exchanged nervous glances with Ron. Draco, obviously noticing what was going to happen, let go of Hermione, giving Harry an apologetic look.
"Harry I was mad...I didn't mean to." Harry was shaking he was shaking. Standing up, he looked the blond in the eye.
"Didn't mean to? You don't ever mean to anything do you Malfoy? Do you know how much easier this could have been if you would have kept your mouth SHUT! Do you know what you did? How am I supposed to fix this you selfish bastard?" Harry was mad, but he knew at once he had screwed up again. Though at the moment he didn't care.
"Listen to me Potter just because I'm allowing you my bed." At that Ron made some terrible gurgling sound, and Hermione bent down to check on him, still focusing on the fighting wizards. "Does not mean that you can talk to me like that and get away with it...and friends are no excuse...Don't think I'll just take it alright" Harry's anger was fading, and he realized right away the mistake he made. "So fuck you Potter." Draco made his way to the portrait, pausing as it swung open. "Oh wait already did that." And with that he was gone.
Harry sank back onto the chair. This day was going horribly. He turned to his friends and saw that Hermione was in tears. Ron was ghostly white, but seemed more inclined to speak than the girl. If she really did like him this must be hurting her a great deal.
"Harry tell me it's not true...tell me that you didn't sleep with Malfoy...For fucks sake Harry I saw your chest! Tell me you didn't let him do that to you." Harry felt a tear roll down his cheek. He was suddenly feeling very dirty, ashamed, and most of all alone.
"I can't tell you it didn't happen Ron...I can't even tell you that I didn't enjoy it...I can't tell you anything except that I'm sorry."
"Sorry? Sorry!? Well that's not good enough. I'll be the first to admit I hate Slytherins...Hell I hate Malfoys more, but even so if my best friend were to turn...hmmm...to liking guys, and to my disliking picked him I might be okay with it...but" Harry's eyes had lit up for a moment, but then faded when he heard the but. "This isn't a normal relationship...even for that kind...He's fucking hurting you....He's hurting you while fucking you...Does any of that register with you?"
Harry looked into Ron's eyes, fully crying by this time, but it didn't seem to matter anymore. "I asked him to...." The words were faint, but he knew the two had heard them. Hermione looked like she was going to faint, but Ron braced her looking disgustingly at Harry.
"You asked him to? So does that mean you like it when he tortures you?"
"No. You don't understand it's not like that...it's not torture we both he...I don't know anymore, but it's not the way you think."
"No I think it's exactly what we think Harry." Harry looked at Hermione when the girl grabbed Ron's hand, heading to the door.
"You want Malfoy because he'll hurt you. You want someone to beat you, and through all these little adventures everyone felt sorry for you, but in truth that's why you did it...for the pain...for the fact that you might die. Now you've found a new kind of pain...You know that Malfoy cares nothing for you...except maybe in some sick possessive sort of way, and that's why you're with him of all people." Harry tried to talk, and got up to stop her, but a raised hand stopped him. "I don't want to hear anymore lies ok...Go to your Slytherin...if he'll even have you, but Harry when he leaves you, and believe me he will. When he does remember that you could have had real friends...you could have had real people that cared for you...maybe even loved you, and remember that you lost them." He saw them head to leave, and went to stop them, but an angry look from Ron told him to stay away...and with that all of the people that he had considered friends were gone.
Harry crumpled into a pile on the floor. Sobs racked his body. This couldn't be happening...this shouldn't be happening. What had he done throughout his life to receive such punishment? His whole life was one big torture session, and she expected him not to like pain. His whole life was pain! Why should he like anything else? Now he had lost his only two real friends, and he had lost Draco. Another sob racked through his body. The thought just seemed to occur to him that he had lost Draco! Harry cried himself into a state of sleep, still huddled on the floor.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Harry was woke by his arm being annoyingly prodded, and he turned away. Whoever it was could sod off. He couldn't stand company right now...unless it was one of the three people who left him last night. Though that was very unlikely. "Oi Potter get your lazy ass up...I don't have all day. It's bad enough I had to come get you in the first place." Harry opened his eyes at the sound of the voice, and turned around to confirm his suspicions.
"Blaise? What the hell are you doing here?" He saw the Slytherin scoff, and he was dragged to his feet.
"Draco sent me to get you...said you'd be dining with us and somethin else I don't really remember, but he said to be civil." Harry stared wide-eyed at the boy. Draco had sent him, but why? Was he really not as mad as Harry thought? Harry's face slumped when he thought of whom he was thinking about. Of course the blond was mad. He was humiliated by someone he claimed to control...no he was up to something. "Jeez whatever happened in here last night I'm glad I wasn't here. Draco came back hella pissed, but he'll be even more pissed if we don't hurry, so we better go." Harry felt himself dumbly nod as he followed the boy to the great hall.
Harry entered the great hall, and saw a smiling Fred and George wave him over, but then their smile faded when they saw who he was walking with. He quickly gave them an 'I'll talk to you later' look before heading over to the Slytherin table. He sat down next to Blaise and Pansy. Draco was across from him by Crabbe and Goyle. Harry noticed he hadn't looked up at him yet. He turned around, looking at the Gryffindor table, trying his best to ignore the horrified looks of it occupants, but couldn't find Ron and Hermione.
"Looking for your little friends Potter?" He looked at the blond who was staring at him now, and noticed that all of the other Slytherins were interested as well. He knew Draco had done that purposely to show the Slytherins he was on their side since he had received cold glances when first sitting down. Harry swallowed and hoped he could pull through.
"And what friends would those be Draco? Last I remembered I didn't have any friends in Gryffindor, or rather didn't want any." He saw the blond smirk as well as some of the others at the table. Out of the corner of his eye he could see the retreating figures of his two friends who had just happened to walk by at the wrong time. How's that for luck? Though considering his life so far he really wasn't all that surprised.
"So are you saying Potter that you want to be with the right crowd now?" Harry put on a fake smirk...even though he was hurting inside.
"Let's just say that I came to realizations about the difference between some wizarding families, and came up on the wrong end. Now I want nothing more than to rectify these past mistakes." This earned another smirk from Draco.
"But you're a Gryffindor don't you worry about how everyone will treat you once you side with Slytherin?" Harry looked at Crabbe, he really did have a dumb quality to him. Or at least he thought it was Crabbe that had talked, he could never tell. Both of Malfoy's lackeys looked like big monkeys.
"Why should I care what they think?...Besides I think I can take some ridicule from my ickle Gryffindor classmates." Now it was time to seal the deal, and inflate the Slytherin's already huge egos. "After having to deal with you for years they should be cake." He received many rewarding looks from the people around the table, and although he held a smile, inside he felt like a traitor.
"So that settles it Harry you're one of us...for the most part anyways." Malfoy's friendly look seemed to falter. "Come with me to the common room and I'll show you how a real student is to behave." He saw the raise of the blond's eyebrows, and groaned. He knew their little fight wasn't over as easy as he had hoped. He sat up and followed Draco out, who had motioned to his two lackeys not to follow.
They hadn't talked at all on the way, and once in the common room Harry followed Draco into his room where the blond shut the door. "Take off your clothes Potter." Harry was taken aback by his abruptness, and simply stared wide eyed.
"Excuse me Draco?" He saw the blond roll his eyes as Harry was pushed back, and stumbled falling on the bed. He went to sit up, but an angry blond on his chest prevented it.
"Shut up Potter...I saved your little ass this morning the embarrassment that would have befallen you...even after what you did to me last night." Draco quickly discarded his clothes, and moved off to get his pants, allowing Harry to follow. When he didn't the blond sighed, pulling out a knife and getting rid of the clothes himself...much to Harry's protests. "Don't think I'm just going to let you get away with speaking like that to me, or more importantly " Without warning Draco slammed into Harry, making the boy scream, and stare up at the blond with fear in his eyes. Draco just smirked, and bent to kiss the boy, pulling his face so he stared right at him. "For kissing that little mudblood whore."
Draco pulled out, only to slam in again, leaving Harry screaming once more in pain. "What you don't like it pet? And here I thought you liked pain?" He slammed in again, harder this time, and to his delight was rewarded with a moan. "Ah see I knew this was how you liked it." He grabbed his face again, making sure he was staring straight at him. "You sick fuck."
Harry couldn't help the fact that he was enjoying himself, although each time Draco entered him it was leaving him close to passing out. He looked up at Draco to see that he was obviously enjoying himself. Draco pushed even harder, and Harry thought he was going to die from the pain. Grabbing onto the blond's hips he ripped the skin there to see fresh blood. Of course the sheets were already soaked from all of Harry's, and he was getting rather light headed from the blood loss.
Draco however noticed this and refused to let his pet go into unconsciousness. "Look at me Potter." The boy complied by looking up into cold gray eyes. "Tell me you're mine." He slammed in harder, almost making the boy pass out. "Say you belong to me and me alone...tell me I'm your owner...tell me I'm your fucking master Potter...Tell me you're mine." After slamming in again, he grabbed Harry and began to stroke him. "Tell me..."
Harry could feel himself getting close, and the two sensations were too much for him, but he knew Draco wouldn't allow it till he heard him, and he hit in him hard again to prove his point. "I'm your...God Draco I'm yours...you own me. I belong to you....just please..." At the words Harry felt Draco release, and he went almost the same time before the blond collapsed on top of him.
Harry was absolutely exhausted, and hurt everywhere, but didn't object when Draco pulled him up to lay on his chest. He even began to feel better when he felt the blond stroking his hair, and felt he was going to fall asleep. "Don't fall asleep Harry we have class in about ten minutes." Okay that was just mean. Here he sat in a puddle of his own blood, clothes ripped to shreds, and not to mention that fact that he didn't even think he could move at said time.
"You can't be serious Draco!? I can't...I don't even think I can walk, and what about my clothes?" The blond was looking annoyed at Harry, who quickly shut his mouth, not wanting a repeat performance.
"The pain is part of your punishment...as for the clothes...it's your own fault for always refusing to take them off when I tell you." Harry frowned. He really hated him sometimes.
"Then what do you propose we do all wise and knowing?" Draco shrugged, and as a last ditch effort pointed to some of his Slytherin robes. "Oh yeah that will look great...but I'm gonna go ahead and guess Snape won't approve. It's already your fault my two best friends hate me, and if I come to class wearing another house's robes the whole of Gryffindor will." Harry realized he shouldn't have added the 'your fault' comment, and was reminded of that fact when a very angry Slytherin pushed him off the bed, making his injured form land on the hard dungeon floor.
"Got another brilliant idea Potter? And I'm so sorry bout those disgusting friends of yours...but if I had had my way when she touched you I would have fucked you right in front of her." Harry shook his head at the blond, who in return gave him a slight grin.
"You know you have some real possessive issues. Did anyone ever tell you that?" He saw the blond shrug again.
"Not really. I haven't ever been like this...except over you." Harry would have smiled if he wasn't so insanely pissed at the blond.
"You know Draco I'd think that was nice if I hadn't just been fucked to the point of not walking, then thrown off a bed in my injured form because of it." The blond smiled again as he picked Harry off the ground, setting him down on the now ruined bedspread. "Wonder what the house elves are going to think about the comforter?"
"I'm sure they won't say anything...they never do about what goes on here. If they do they have to report to the head of houses, and I doubt Severus will say a word."
"Only if he didn't know who it was you decided to partner up with...then I'd be dead and he'd probably request you be sent to St. Mugos." The blond frowned.
"I think you got the better deal..." Draco smiled before leaning in to kiss Harry. All the harshness was gone, and it was obvious that Draco was back to normal.
"Draco do you think they'll say anything?" At this Draco pulled Harry onto his lap before leaning back on the bed.
"No I don't think so...at least it wouldn't be verra wise for them, or at least Ron." Harry looked at Draco, obviously confused. "Lets just say I had a talk with the mudblood and weasel this morning, concerning information I've received lately about a few members of the weasel's family that would make him think otherwise before ever messing with us."
"What information?" At this Draco all out grinned, and getting up smiled down at Harry.
"I'll tell you when you're older." This received a pillow to the head, and the blond was staring at him in disgust. "Ew Harry this has blood all over it...now it's in my hair!" This got another pillow thrown at him.
"You know I'd feel sorry for you...you dumb git...if it wasn't my blood that happened to be all over the pillow!"
"Did anyone ever tell you that you whine too much Harry?" The boy smirked.
"Just you, but no one of any importance." This caused Draco to dive back into bed, jumping on Harry, as they both started laughing. That is until Draco reached down, grabbing Harry, causing him to moan.
"You know what Harry I guess one sick day wouldn't hurt. You don't think the teachers would miss us too awfully bad do you?" Harry shook his head in excitement , and both boys starting laughing before continuing to play hooky

It had hurt the first couple weeks, not being able to see Ron and Hermione. Of course he could see them, but the chances of them saying a word to him was practically nothing. One time Hermione had mentioned something about him being a disgusting Slytherin blackmailer, and figured they thought he had something to do with it. Although with many tries Harry had still not gotten Draco to tell him what it was. Though he had hinted several times that it had something to do with the twins. After the murderous looks he received from Ron he knew not to ask them about it. That and the fact that they were the only two Gryffindors still speaking to him.
All of the Slytherins held a respect for Harry...probably because of Draco, and since if he wasn't in class he was always with them he was thankful they all didn't still hate him. He had actually become good friends with Blaise and Pansy. Although he'd never admit that to Draco who had scoffed at Pansy sitting on him in a chair...saying she did that to everyone, but warning him about it. He had totally overreacted when he saw Blaise with his hand on his shoulder. Harry sorely remembered the thought of not being able to sit right for a week. It was almost the holiday season, and much to Harry's surprise he had been invited to spend it at Malfoy Manor. Which was after he had received much assurance from Draco that his dad would not try anything funny. Harry couldn't help but wonder though...he was after all serving someone that wished him dead.
Snape had actually come in one time when the common room was empty to find Harry sitting on the couch reading a book. After a lot of yelling...mostly Snape at Harry, Snape had told him he could no longer be in these dorms because he was a Gryffindor and they were to make friends with 'their own kind.' So until Draco had his father right Snape, Harry had to only come there at night, and under the protection of his cloak. Though now Snape said nothing to him about his choices, and was actually being kinder to him at the thought of him leaving Gryffindors for Slytherins.
The reason for Harry actually befriending the Slytherins hadn't shown up since the night he said that, and Harry began to wonder if it was all a dream. Though he could still see red eyes, and feel the freezing sensation from his touches. Even if he had been just been a dream, Harry couldn't dare go back on things now. No, to many things had happened, too many things to be held against him more like it. Plus he had learned how much his friendship with Ron and Hermione had meant to them when they cast him off after finding out about his discretions. Any true friend he thought would stand by him no matter how insane he seemed.
Dawn was getting closer and closer, and he sighed as he gently removed Draco from him, going to get ready for the day. They had both agreed that although Harry would spend the night there, he was to return to his dorm before morning...lest anyone get suspicious. After all with the holiday trip getting so close they could have no slip ups. With one last look at the blond he sighed again before leaving the room.
Having freshly showered and changed it was still too early for breakfast, so with his last free time Harry went to see what the twins were up to. Now seventh years they received a private room, but Dumbledore, at the twins' request, had given them a room to share. This made since seeing as how they were never apart anyways. A very tired red head opened the door and Harry recognized him to be Fred. After an exchange of smiles he was curtly invited in.
"So Harry excited bout Quidditch?" Fred smiled, and Harry noticed George seemed to be beaming at him as well. Apparently whatever frivolous matter that had been causing them to fight was over with now.
"Well I would be, but seeing as how my entire team hates me...I can't look forward to it too much." George frowned at this.
"Ah Harry we don't hate you, and I hope you don't hate yourself, so that's three to four."
"Better odds then we've had before eh?" Fred added, and Harry felt himself smile. The twins really were great friends, and another pang of guilt went through him when he thought about the blackmail that was being held against them.
"You know what I think will be really funny Harry?" He looked at the twins' faces, not really knowing which one had sad it, but they both seemed to have the same idea.
"What's that?" They both smiled at this.
"When are little Slythendor has to play his new friends." Harry groaned at both the nickname, and the thought of playing the Slytherins. Which he was sure wouldn't turn out good.
"Yeah well maybe I'll just be miraculously sick that day...hopefully"
"Sorry mate, but I wouldn't count on it...your teammates might not agree with your choices at the moment, but you're the best seeker there is, and there's no way they'll lose one more thing to Slytherin." Harry looked at George and groaned again. Why were things always so difficult?
"Ah well thanks guys...I should go down to breakfast, I'm kinda hungry." The two smiled at this, and waved as he left the room. He realized how late it had gotten, and knew he would probably get yelled at for being late, but hey what was new?
