I got a real deliberate "Little Shop of Horrors" vibe off of Neville in this. I am definitely interested in how you're going to proceed with this. My question is this: Since you're planning on ending this book in 12 chapters or so, are you planning on a sequel or no? I know that it must be difficult to work on multiple projects at one time. Well, let me know.

I find it hard to believe that I'm 2 months overdue on responding to reviews, well anyway there isn't a sequel planned for this one people might demand one though. We'll see.~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

Man I love your Neville. Hell of a character. It looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of him, so I know I'll be happy.
Also, I think Voldemort's current plan is pretty brilliant.Author's response
Still marveling that I seem to be 2 months overdue on review responses on this site. ~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

I had a good laugh from reading Voldemort's interaction with Dolores. Your take on Voldemort is one of the most original I have ever seen. He is a refreshingly evil dark lord - not the tired old `kill it, kill it! Crucio!' that is so endemic to the most of HP fanfic. Also, Neville is turning into a superb schemer, it seems. I will wait to see what Neville does with his plants next. A pity both Snape and Bellatrix are gone - it would be amusing to see Neville strangle Bella with the Devil's snare.
Keep on writing. This was an excellent chapter.

Thank you for the coments and my apologies for my slow response. Voldemort should be a villain that people can believe. As for Neville stay tuned...~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

I read some of this on FFA.net, and was pleasantly surprised to discover you had it posted on ficwad as well. Your ability to present the characters and their inner motives is impressive. I love such character-driven fics. One question that struck me: How psychopathic is Neville going to get in his desire for revenge? So intriguing!Author's response
My apologies for such a delay in my responses. Neville will get away with as much as circumstances let him....
Thank you for your comments~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!! Wow Neville is turning out to be just as bad as any one of the Death Eaters. Voldemort is as dumb as he always is with his attempting to set up Harry and Scumgouger, which if its like any of his other half baked ideas will fail misreably. I can't wait to see what happens next. DO keep up the outstanding work and update soon please:):):):)Author's response
Sorry for the delay in my response... glad you enjoy the the character interaction.~JimTo Fight the Coming Darkness

Very interesting how Voldie does these killings to throw suspicion on Harry and Rufus. But Voldemort is too much of a psychopath to be so subtle. The FBI and other crime organizations have psychologists helping solve crimes precisely because criminals have a dastardly difficult time not following a set pattern, no matter how intelligent they are. And Riddle is one of the biggest egotists around, certainly he is incapable of killing or ordering a killing without the dark mark involved. That's also the reason why he has no unmarked followers. There may be unmarked sympathizers, but there are no unmarked Death Eaters. If someone is a part of Voldie's camp, he/she has the mark.
This is a great read, and I'm really enjoying it.
