Gerard bolted upright, eyes attempting to focus as the intoxicating lyrics of lunacy fringe infiltrated his sleep clouded mind. Glancing at the flashing clock, he let out a frustrated groan.

Gerard slowly reclined back into his bed huddling under the tired looking comforter in an attempt to fend of the early morning chill. As he listened to the soothing sounds of yesterdays feelings his eyes slowly flitted shut, and after a few minutes his breathing evened out.
As the green digits flashed to 7.02 Gerard turned in his sleep balancing precariously on the edge of the mattress. "...FUCKING knife"
"Shit!" Startled by the sudden burst of noise ,Gerard's balance betrayed him and he less than gracefully rolled off the bed, head connecting with his dresser en route to the hardwood floor.
