OK, hi, my name is Skyler, and im here to say that this is THE MOST AWESOME ORIGINAL A:TLA STORY I HAVE EVER READ!!!!
the romace was tender and chaste, the characters were continuously IN character, the humor was "fall out of the chair funny", the actions scenes...dont EVEN get me started on those, they were too beautiful for words, and the story as a whole was CORRECTLY SPELT AND PUNCTUATED.
so i have one ONE complaint. why in the WORLD didnt more people review?!?!??!?!!?!? this deserves a 500+ review count dude!!!!!! i mean seriously, this is the kind of story where you have "Frothers" (the dude from Kyoshi) moments!
i was gratified, however to find out that you posted this on FF.net, and i aim to look for it, then reccomend it to EVERYONE i know.
No i have ONE single question, one that NO ONE, juding from yer reviews, has asked.
Is Li Mei the herbalist lady in "The Blue Spirit?" her occupation, similarities to Min (in small ways), position of clinic, and hairstyle (a bun on the top of her head, with the rest falling down) certainly testify to this theory. i hope im right, cuz itd make this story that much more cool.
anyway, i will always cherish this story, and i hope that you recieved more praise on FF.net than you did here, because you certainly deserve it.
never stop writng girl (you ARE a girl right?) because you have too much talent not to share it with the world.

Ha ha, hey there Skyler. I'm glad that you enjoyed the story so much. Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to read the story.
I'm pretty sure that the story isn't reviewed or visited as much due to its length. Even I would shy away from reading a story that's over four hundred twenty pages long, even if it's for Avatar.
As for Li Mei and the herbalist: Sorry to disappoint, but Roses of the Valley takes place only twenty years prior to the canon series. So Li Mei would only be in her early thirties when Aang was unfrozen.
And lastly: Ha ha, I'm actually a guy.
Thank you again!
