Was I the only person who found it inappropriate that Joe was dating a pole dancer? -> Oh, this was a classic.
The whole chapter just flowed and was highly amusing to read. :)
I loved the Jewish parts. Probably because I understand some since it's related to my mother tongue German.Author's response
I'm glad you liked that line because it kind of made me laugh. And it is wrong that I'm the only person laughing at my own jokes :-(
Thank you, lady xxA Little More Touch Me

Very insightful, I love these sort of chapters, the conversations, getting to know the characters a little better. It was like I was there with them…
/I smiled at her, making a mental note to ask Joe if that was an insult.
"Don't worry that's not an insult," Joe's mother assured me/ That was funny.
I already adored this woman. I felt tears of gratitude spring to my eyes. I felt more welcome in her home that I did in my father's house. I spontaneously reached across the table and hugged her. She was a little taken aback, but hugged me back all the same. YAY!!!
The feminist in me wanted to protest and exclaim that Emily Pankhurst would be spinning in her grave. LMFAO ! HA!
"Ah, so you're the infamous Megan. You providing the entertainment later?. A little dancing to spice things up?" he grinned at me. Whoa! Vomit bucket! I would’ve been sick if that was me – not good with unexpected situations. Lol
Clearly, I was the only one who had a problem with this. Was I the only prude here? Was I the only person who found it inappropriate that Joe was dating a pole dancer? Uhhhh yeah…..
Another lesson about books and covers learnt today. Another favourite.
Awesome Chapter ma wee noodle head…
