I'm not perfect enough for you
Never was
Probably never will be
Your words and eyes
Like a dagger
Pierce my heart
So i stumble
Trip and fall
When i try to talk
(with the best)
If only i could hate you
Twice as much as you hate me
I feel suffocated by jealousy
Drowning in envy
When that's not how i am
(unlike you)
When i am near you
I'm on thin ice
Never knowing when I'll fall
When in the end you don't care at all
Like water, your hatred rises over me
Freezing my body
Freezing my voice
Killing the ability to make a choice
When I'm on thin ice
If only i could hate you
Twice as much as you hate me
I feel suffocated by jealousy
Drowning in envy
When that's not how i am
(unlike you)
Why couldn't we be friends?
Is this how the story ends?
Well, I'm not crying anymore
As my head hits the bathroom floor
If only i could hate you
Twice as much as you hate me
I feel suffocated by jealousy
Drowning in envy
When that's not how i am
(unlike you)
Is this how the story ends?
