Ray's POV
Billie and Dirnt rang the doorbell, but Mae wasn't with them. When I asked about her, they just kinda mumbled something about her disappearing. I sighed and went into my room, as I passed Mae's room, I saw her in Frank's arms...and they were kissing.
"What the hell?"
Frank shot right up and cried,
"Ray! It's not what it looks like! I swear."
" 'Not what it looks like' my ass Frankie!"
I looked at Mae and she looked like she'd been crying...a lot. She got up and screamed,
"Shut the FUCK up! Holy fuck! It's bad enough I just fucking got caught having cocaine!"
"Mae!" I was shocked..I admit it. My Mae with drugs? I heard Billie and Dirnt run upstairs and bust into the room. Billie held Mae by the shoulders and shook her roughly. He cried,
"What hell Mae! You promised me! You fucking promised! I can't believe you! You said you needed to talk with James, to tell him your were off!"
She pulled away and screamed,
"None of you would fucking understand! You're my best friend, and still YOU didn't understand! I can't take this shit anymore!"
She turned towards the window, but before she could jump out, Frank grabbed her. He forced her to look into her eyes and asked,
"Mae, where did you get the money? I know this shit costs fucking $150 an ounce. It's good quality. So, where'd you get the money."
Mae fell silent and looked down. Billie quietly, but angrily said,
"Frank, don't ask her that."
Frank looked up and asked,
"Why?"
"Just because, it's personal."
Finally, I had overcome my shock and asked,
"Personal? How personal? You mean close?"
Billie opened his mouth, but the words didn't come out.
Dirnt rolled his head as if he were pondering whether he should say it or not. Finally he said,
"She fucks him for cocaine. She gives him blowjobs for weed."
I lost it. I screamed,
"SARAMAE KARMA GADDIS! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU FUCKING THINKING? SELLING YOUR FUCKING BODY FOR DRUGS! ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID OR SOMETHING?"
Mae shrugged Frank off and turned to me. She walked towards me, quivering and shaking. She cried as she reached out to me. Then, just like that, she collapsed.
