Mae's POV
"Mae, wake up! Come on sugar."
I heard Ray calling out to him, his voice so distant. I slowly opened my eyes. I found myself in a white room; the hospital. The first person I saw the Ray, then Billie and Dirnt. Where was Frank?
Ray held my hand and shook me violently. I began groaning in pain. Everyone seemed to notice, but Ray. Finally, Billie came over and said,
"Maybe if you stopped shaking her so much she'd reply to you."
I laughed at this and said in agreement,
"Yeah, Ray Ray."
Ray's head shot up and he cried,
"Thank God you're up Mae! I've been so worried! I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay Ray. I forgive you. Why am I here?"
"Well, after you collapsed, we rushed you here. And it turns out that you fainted because you didn't have enough drugs in your system."
I nodded; it was pretty scary. Then another question hit me.
"How long am I going to be here for?"
Ray looked sad and didn't reply, neither did Billie. I just stared at them, expecting an answer. Then I called Dirnt over.
"Please tell me, Dirnt!"
He looked at Billie, then at me.
"They say you have to get of the drugs first...and that takes a few weeks."
I hung my head low. I was ashamed.
Mae's POV
