"She hung up on me" Gerard said confused
"You don't remember what happened last night do you?" Mikey asked
"Better not tell him" said Frank
"Tell me what?"
"Last night you were drunk and Mel came over-" Mikey started
"Yeah I know all that"
"Well she found out you were drinking and she got completely pissed and tried to leave so you blocked the door and said this weird stuff-"
"You told her you loved her" said Frank
"-Then you pushed her against the wall and kissed her, she struggled for a few minutes but managed to push you off and she just left. Gerard, she left at night she said she was more scared to stay here with you then going home alone at night!" Mikey finished
"Shit!"
"Yeah, I think she felt bad cuz you said I love you" Frank said

"She seemed I don't know disappointed and hurt" Mikey got a look of understanding on his face
"YOU ASSHOLE!" he said slapping Gerard
"You had better have a reason for doing that"
"I do but I can't tell you" said Mikey putting on his shoes and running outside. He knocked on Mel's door she answered
"Hey Mikey!" she said in a false happy voice
"Cut the crap Mel you're not fooling anyone especially me!" said Mikey, she slipped outside and they started walking.
"What do you mean?" she asked
"I mean you pretend to be happy but you're not, you pretend that you love Gerard like a brother but you don't"

"Bull shit you love him, love him" said Mikey
"Psh Mikey" Mel said laughing nervously
"Just admit it! You love my brother! You'll feel better" he said smiling
"Damn you Mikey, I hate how smart you are" Melanie said, Mikey hugged her

"Well I guess I have to face reality and learn that nothing will happen between me and Gerard"

"What'd he say abot an innocent one year old?"
"That you didn't do anything" Mikey sighed
"Idiot" Mikey muttered
"MEL!" a voice yelled, she recognized as Gerard's
"Shit no!" she started picking up her pace
"Melanie just talk to him"

"Then you leave me no choice" Mikey jumped on her
"HEY!" she yelled falling
"God damn Mikes" Mel said her back cracking a little, Mikey quickly got off
"AHH I BROKE MELANIE!" he yelled, Melanie got off the ground and bent back her back cracking more.
"Mikey chill I just need to strech" she said forgetting that Gerard was near,
"I'M SO SORRY!" Gerard yelled hugging her and making her jump in fright
"Yeah how many times have I heard that"
"Mel please! I-I- never mind" he sighed, Mel closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
"Gee I don't want to have to worry about you! I always am and I don't want anything to happen to you so I think I'll leave you alone because I think it's my fault for all this" she said.
"NO! Mel please I need you!" Gerard pleaded, "It's not you, it's never been you it's always been me!"
"I don't even know if I can trust you anymore"
"Melanie if there is one thing you should know is that I will never lie to you"
"What about last night?" she said, Gerard was silent, "Yeah that's what I thought" she walked off, Gerard sighed
"Gee..." Mikey started realization hitting him again,
"Yes Mikey it's true" Gerard said looking at him, "Too bad she'll never feel the same way" Mikey wanted to tell him that Mel felt that same way but he didn't want Mel to be mad at him so he just kept silent for days.
