Days turned into weeks and weeks into months. One day Mikey was watching TV, he stayed home from school because he wasn't feeling well. Gerard came home pissed and threw his bag down. He sat next Mikey.
"What happened to you?" Mikey asked
"Guess who's going out with fucking Aaron Bris!?" he yelled angrily
"Mel?"
"God damn how could she be so fucking stupid!"
"Jealousy is making a bitch out of you"
"JEALOUS!? ME!? HA!" he yelled, Mikey kept quiet. Mikey glanced outside and saw Mel making out with Aaron in the snow. Apparently Gerard was watching too, "I hope they get sick"
"I thought you were over her" Mikey said
"I am, but she's still my best friend.....AARON BRIS, MIKEY! GOD! Fucking asshole! He's doing this to get to me!"
"So he's dating Mel to make you angry?" Mikey asked amused
"Psh yeah"
"I think he's too stupid to come up with that"
"Mel is going to get her heart broken and I'll be the one saying I told you so while she's crying her fucking heart out" Mikey seriously doubted that, If Melanie still loved Gerard she won't be too fussed over a break up. About a month later it was Saturday and Gerard walked inside,
"Mel seriously you need to break up with him before he breaks up with you!"
"Why are you so angry about this!?"
"You know what he does to me and this is just another way to get back at me"
"So because he is dating me only means he is doing it to get to you"
"YEAH!" Mikey and Frank peeked over the couch
"Gerard there's another reason why you're pissed just tell me!"
"There's nothing to tell except it should be m-" he stopped abruptly
"What was that" she said
"God damn I'm not going to fucking lie anymore, it should be me! Not fucking Aaron! He doesn't know that your favorite flower is a rose, or that your favorite color is red or that your favorite animal is a wolf! So yeah I'm fucking jealous, I've known you longer...way longer and he's only known you for what 5 months and he gets to have you it's not fair!" Melanie stood there about to cry, Gerard didn't look at her.
"Now you fucking tell me this? I've loved you for so long! I've almost exposed my true feelings, I had to tell Mikey to release that secret!"
"Wait you told Mikey!?"
"Yeah" Gerard turned his attention to Mikey who ducked under the couch.
"Gerard can't we please go back to being friends?" Melanie asked
"Yeah or you could always break up with pretty boy" Gerard said, Melanie smiled sympathetically
"No cuz then if we start going out you'll get more greif and I don't want that" She said and she left.
