Chapter 2
Anna walked over to her grandmother
"that smells so good" said Anna as she sat down at the table, Anna's grandmother smiled as she placed a plate of chicken and some salad in front of Anna and herself
"so your going out tomorrow?" asked her grandmother
"yes Nan, I met some friends at university" said Anna, Anna's grandmother smiled and poured Anna some lemonade, Anna smiled as they had their dinner in peace.
"Nana, Can I am just going to bed, Are you sure I can stay tonight?" asked Anna, Anna's grandmother smiled
"of course hunni, I don't want you to be by yourself in your parents house" said Anna's grandmother, Anna smiled and hugged and kissed her
"thanks Nana, love you , goodnight" she said and went to bed.
Anna woke up and smiled she quickly got dressed and went down the stairs
"Good morning Anna" said her grand mother, Anna smiled
"Morning nana, I am just going home to get some clothes, Gerard is meeting me here this afternoon and I need something nice" said Anna, Anna's grandmother smiled and nodded
"I wont be too long Nan, see you soon" said Anna as she stepped outside to get to her car, Anna started the car and drove to her house, she pressed the password to get inside and drove in, she got out of the car and opened the front door
"Hello anyone home?" she asked as Anna walked into the lounge room, Anna sighed and then walked up to her room, she grabbed a suitcase and filled it with clothes and anything she may need, Anna decided that her Grandmothers would be the best place for a little while, Anna walked down the stairs and to her car, she looked one last time at her house and got into her car, Anna smiled a little as she drive back to her grandmothers, she opened the door
"nana, I am home" she said, Anna jumped when she saw Gerard standing in the lounge room,
"gee" she said, Gerard smiled
"I see your not ready, I will come back" said Gerard, Anna shook her head
"I wont be too long, please stay, would you like a drink or something?" asked Anna, Gerard smiled and shook his head
"no thanks, your grandmother has given me one already" said Gerard
"okay, so sit down relax and I will be five minutes" said Anna, Gerard nodded as Anna ran up the stairs and got changed, Anna put on her tight black jeans and a green day shirt, she untied her hair and let it fall past her shoulders, Anna smiled and walked down, Gerard smiled when he saw her
"ohh do you mind if you crash at my house tonight, we might not get home until very late" said Gerard, Anna shook her head
"no I don't mind, can a bring a bag of stuff with me?" asked Anna, Gerard smiled
"of course not" he replied, Anna smiled
"come up stairs with me while a grab my stuff" said Anna, Gerard nodded as they went upstairs, Gerard looked around her room and smiled
"wow your room is like mine" he said, Anna laughed
"what filled with comics and music" she said, Gerard smiled and nodded
"that's about it" said Anna, Gerard smiled as Anna zipped up her bag
"okay ready?" she asked, Gerard nodded as they walked down stairs
"bye nana, I am going to sleep at Gerard's tonight, I will see you tomorrow afternoon" said Anna, Anna's grandmother walked out and smiled
"okay dear, have a good time at the party, don't drink too much please" she said. Anna smiled and nodded
"okay, love you " she said softly and hugged her, Anna and Gerard walked out of the house and up the street, Gerard talked about his mother and his brother, and how his grandmother was teaching him how to play the piano, Anna smiled
"I am sure you play well, I can play too" said Anna, Gerard smiled
"maybe one day you can play for me" said Gerard with a smile, Anna looked at him
"of course" she replied as they stopped outside a house, Gerard took Anna's hand and led her to a house beneath the one standing in front of it, Anna looked a little confused but did not say anything, Gerard quickly pulled out his keys and opened the door quickly
"quick" said Gerard as Anna quickly rushed in and waited for Gerard who followed quickly
"its not safe here, I am sure you know that" said Gerard, Anna nodded
"of course gee" she said, Gerard smiled and showed Anna around the house and then his room
"here you can place your stuff here" said Gerard as he opened his door, Anna walked in and smiled as she checked out his place
"very cool" said Anna as she put her bag on his bed, Gerard smiled as he heard the door open and close
"one sec" said Gerard as he poked his head out of his room, he smiled and took Anna's hand
"mum, hey mum" said Gerard as they walked to the kitchen, Gerard's mother smiled when she saw Anna being lead by Gerard to her
"this is Anna, Anna this is my mother" said Gerard, Anna moved forward and shook her hand
"nice to meet you" said Anna, Gerard's mother smiled
"nice to meet you too, my name is Emma please call me that" said Emma, Anna nodded
"whatever you wish" said Anna, Emma smiled
"you have a nice girl here Gerard, I hope you treat her well" said Emma, Gerard blushed a little
"mum come on, you know I am not like that" said Gerard, Emma nodded as another boy came into the room
"Mikey where have you been?" asked Emma, Mikey gulped and looked at Gerard and then Anna
"mum I was just out that's all" said Mikey, Emma looked at Mikey
"well we have a guest so this is not the time, Anna this is my other son Mikey" said Emma, Anna looked at Mikey and smiled
"hi" she said, Mikey smiled back
"nice to meet you" he said, Gerard looked at the time and then looked at Anna and Mikey
"we better go, Frank wants us over there before everyone comes" said Gerard, Anna nodded as Gerard took her hand and led her to the door, Anna quickly let go and went into Gerard's room and grabbed her jacket, Gerard smiled as Anna walked back to him, Mikey smiled as they all left
"bye mum, see you all later" said Gerard, Anna waved good bye to Emma as they left the house, Mikey smiled
"So Anna, how did you meet my brother?" asked Mikey, Anna looked at Gerard
"At school" she replied Mikey smiled
"so you like art school?" asked Mikey, Anna smiled
"yes of course, I just wished I didn't come when everyone is graduating" said Anna, Gerard smiled
"I am sure we will be friends" said Gerard, Mikey smiled and realised that Gerard really liked this girl usually he wouldn't give a girl the time of day, he wanted to be on his own world and right now a girl was not on the list.
"yeah I agree" said Anna as patted Gerard on the back which made Gerard smiled more
"so who is coming tonight?" asked Anna as they kept walking,
"just a few friends and us" said Mikey Anna nodded as they stopped outside a house, Gerard looked at Anna who was looking around
"come on, Frank is waiting for us" said Gerard, Anna nodded as they walked inside, Anna smiled as Frank came up to her
"hi" said Anna as Frank hugged her softly
"nice to see you again, you must come and meet my girlfriend Sarah" said Frank, Gerard looked at frank,
"come on man, she just got here" said Gerard, Frank nodded and handed her a beer
"well here then, drink and be merry" said Frank, Anna giggled and nodded as she took a sip, she then realised it wasn't beer it was vodka and beer, Gerard took her beer and took a sip, he smiled and took another mouthful and then handed it back to her with a small smile
"come, lets grab a few beers and go up to a bedroom" said Gerard, Anna smiled and nodded as they loaded their hands Anna following Gerard as they walked up the stairs,
Anna walked over to her grandmother
"that smells so good" said Anna as she sat down at the table, Anna's grandmother smiled as she placed a plate of chicken and some salad in front of Anna and herself

"yes Nan, I met some friends at university" said Anna, Anna's grandmother smiled and poured Anna some lemonade, Anna smiled as they had their dinner in peace.
"Nana, Can I am just going to bed, Are you sure I can stay tonight?" asked Anna, Anna's grandmother smiled
"of course hunni, I don't want you to be by yourself in your parents house" said Anna's grandmother, Anna smiled and hugged and kissed her
"thanks Nana, love you , goodnight" she said and went to bed.
Anna woke up and smiled she quickly got dressed and went down the stairs
"Good morning Anna" said her grand mother, Anna smiled
"Morning nana, I am just going home to get some clothes, Gerard is meeting me here this afternoon and I need something nice" said Anna, Anna's grandmother smiled and nodded
"I wont be too long Nan, see you soon" said Anna as she stepped outside to get to her car, Anna started the car and drove to her house, she pressed the password to get inside and drove in, she got out of the car and opened the front door
"Hello anyone home?" she asked as Anna walked into the lounge room, Anna sighed and then walked up to her room, she grabbed a suitcase and filled it with clothes and anything she may need, Anna decided that her Grandmothers would be the best place for a little while, Anna walked down the stairs and to her car, she looked one last time at her house and got into her car, Anna smiled a little as she drive back to her grandmothers, she opened the door
"nana, I am home" she said, Anna jumped when she saw Gerard standing in the lounge room,
"gee" she said, Gerard smiled
"I see your not ready, I will come back" said Gerard, Anna shook her head
"I wont be too long, please stay, would you like a drink or something?" asked Anna, Gerard smiled and shook his head
"no thanks, your grandmother has given me one already" said Gerard
"okay, so sit down relax and I will be five minutes" said Anna, Gerard nodded as Anna ran up the stairs and got changed, Anna put on her tight black jeans and a green day shirt, she untied her hair and let it fall past her shoulders, Anna smiled and walked down, Gerard smiled when he saw her
"ohh do you mind if you crash at my house tonight, we might not get home until very late" said Gerard, Anna shook her head
"no I don't mind, can a bring a bag of stuff with me?" asked Anna, Gerard smiled
"of course not" he replied, Anna smiled
"come up stairs with me while a grab my stuff" said Anna, Gerard nodded as they went upstairs, Gerard looked around her room and smiled
"wow your room is like mine" he said, Anna laughed
"what filled with comics and music" she said, Gerard smiled and nodded
"that's about it" said Anna, Gerard smiled as Anna zipped up her bag
"okay ready?" she asked, Gerard nodded as they walked down stairs
"bye nana, I am going to sleep at Gerard's tonight, I will see you tomorrow afternoon" said Anna, Anna's grandmother walked out and smiled
"okay dear, have a good time at the party, don't drink too much please" she said. Anna smiled and nodded
"okay, love you " she said softly and hugged her, Anna and Gerard walked out of the house and up the street, Gerard talked about his mother and his brother, and how his grandmother was teaching him how to play the piano, Anna smiled
"I am sure you play well, I can play too" said Anna, Gerard smiled
"maybe one day you can play for me" said Gerard with a smile, Anna looked at him
"of course" she replied as they stopped outside a house, Gerard took Anna's hand and led her to a house beneath the one standing in front of it, Anna looked a little confused but did not say anything, Gerard quickly pulled out his keys and opened the door quickly
"quick" said Gerard as Anna quickly rushed in and waited for Gerard who followed quickly
"its not safe here, I am sure you know that" said Gerard, Anna nodded
"of course gee" she said, Gerard smiled and showed Anna around the house and then his room
"here you can place your stuff here" said Gerard as he opened his door, Anna walked in and smiled as she checked out his place
"very cool" said Anna as she put her bag on his bed, Gerard smiled as he heard the door open and close
"one sec" said Gerard as he poked his head out of his room, he smiled and took Anna's hand
"mum, hey mum" said Gerard as they walked to the kitchen, Gerard's mother smiled when she saw Anna being lead by Gerard to her
"this is Anna, Anna this is my mother" said Gerard, Anna moved forward and shook her hand
"nice to meet you" said Anna, Gerard's mother smiled
"nice to meet you too, my name is Emma please call me that" said Emma, Anna nodded
"whatever you wish" said Anna, Emma smiled
"you have a nice girl here Gerard, I hope you treat her well" said Emma, Gerard blushed a little
"mum come on, you know I am not like that" said Gerard, Emma nodded as another boy came into the room
"Mikey where have you been?" asked Emma, Mikey gulped and looked at Gerard and then Anna
"mum I was just out that's all" said Mikey, Emma looked at Mikey
"well we have a guest so this is not the time, Anna this is my other son Mikey" said Emma, Anna looked at Mikey and smiled
"hi" she said, Mikey smiled back
"nice to meet you" he said, Gerard looked at the time and then looked at Anna and Mikey
"we better go, Frank wants us over there before everyone comes" said Gerard, Anna nodded as Gerard took her hand and led her to the door, Anna quickly let go and went into Gerard's room and grabbed her jacket, Gerard smiled as Anna walked back to him, Mikey smiled as they all left
"bye mum, see you all later" said Gerard, Anna waved good bye to Emma as they left the house, Mikey smiled
"So Anna, how did you meet my brother?" asked Mikey, Anna looked at Gerard
"At school" she replied Mikey smiled
"so you like art school?" asked Mikey, Anna smiled
"yes of course, I just wished I didn't come when everyone is graduating" said Anna, Gerard smiled
"I am sure we will be friends" said Gerard, Mikey smiled and realised that Gerard really liked this girl usually he wouldn't give a girl the time of day, he wanted to be on his own world and right now a girl was not on the list.
"yeah I agree" said Anna as patted Gerard on the back which made Gerard smiled more
"so who is coming tonight?" asked Anna as they kept walking,
"just a few friends and us" said Mikey Anna nodded as they stopped outside a house, Gerard looked at Anna who was looking around
"come on, Frank is waiting for us" said Gerard, Anna nodded as they walked inside, Anna smiled as Frank came up to her
"hi" said Anna as Frank hugged her softly
"nice to see you again, you must come and meet my girlfriend Sarah" said Frank, Gerard looked at frank,
"come on man, she just got here" said Gerard, Frank nodded and handed her a beer
"well here then, drink and be merry" said Frank, Anna giggled and nodded as she took a sip, she then realised it wasn't beer it was vodka and beer, Gerard took her beer and took a sip, he smiled and took another mouthful and then handed it back to her with a small smile
"come, lets grab a few beers and go up to a bedroom" said Gerard, Anna smiled and nodded as they loaded their hands Anna following Gerard as they walked up the stairs,
