I am SO sorry for how long it's been since this has been worked on. I kinda lost my plot for a while, but now it's back. So enjoy and please review. I will update according to response! =]

Laying against her bed, Cadence frowned as she stared at her phone. It had been almost a week since she and Pete had made love. She had called him a few times, not wanting to be annoying, but he never called her back. She hadn't seen him either and it was starting to annoy her. She just wanted to see him. She really did miss him.

She also hadn't heard from Patrick, but she didn't expect that seeing as how he was currently wrapped up in his new girlfriend. He was completely and totally whipped by this girl. Whoever the hell she was.

Cadence was lost in her thoughts of the two boys when she felt her phone vibrating against her hip. Flipping it open, she looked at the text message that was now on her screen.

'Come to my house. I wanna see you - Pete.'

Cadence smiled as she read the message to herself. He actually wanted to see her and that made her feel wonderful inside. She ran through so many things in her head about what they would do. Maybe they'd just lay around and hold hands or fall asleep in each other's arms. He'd want to know more about her and she'd tell him a few things. She would leave out certain details but it would be okay. And, then she'd learn about him and everything would be perfect.

Getting dressed, she grabbed her phone and slipped into her pocket before grabbing her bag. She had made sure to put on enough make up to cover up anything she didn't want Pete to see.

The walk to his house wasn't that long and she was walking quickly because she was rather excited to see Pete. She just wanted to wrap his arms around him and give him a big hug.

Feeling her phone vibrate again, she took it out and flipped it open and opened the text message that she had just received. Another one from Pete.

'Where are you? I miss you. Coming soon?"

Cadence smiled as she tried to focus on her walking and text him back. She hadn't responded to the last message because she was just in a rush to get to him.

'Walking up the block now. I miss you too. Meet me at the door.'

She sent her message and closed the phone and put it back in her pocket as she picked up her pace and headed up his block. She just wanted to be with him already. It seemed like this walk was taking forever. She loved the thought of being with him already. He was a guy showing her attention.

"Hey, sexy." Pete smirked as he came jogging down the small steps and immediately pulled her into him as he grabbed her by the backside.

Cadence laughed as she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. "Hey, handsome." She smiled.

"Come inside, the ground is hot." He pointed to his bare feet as he turned and jogged back into the house to avoid from scalding his feet anymore.

Cadence nodded as she followed him into the house. "You all alone?" She asked as she looked around. Every time she was there he was alone, she was beginning to think he didn't live with his parents.

"Yeah, c'mon." He turned off the TV in the living room and took her hand as he led her up the stairs to his room, following the same path that they had used the last time she was there.

Getting into the room, he smiled as they walked into the back bedroom area with Pete sitting down on the bed and patting the spot next to him.

Cadence kicked off her shoes and crawled onto the bed next to him. Laying against him, she smiled. "What do you wanna do?" She asked as she played with the sheets on his bed. She was running the material through her fingers.

"You." Pete smiled as he moved her head as he began to suck and kiss on her neck. His hands moving around her waist as he pushed up her shirt a little bit.

Cadence laughed as she moved under his touch making it easier for him to get what he wanted. "Okay, and then what?" She giggled as she ran her hands through his hair.

"I guess we'll have to play that by ear." His fingers moved down to her jeans and unhooked the button and then moved the zipper down. He wanted what he wanted and he was going to get it.

Cadence laughed as she rolled over into him and began to remove his clothing as well. She didn't mind being with him. She loved being with him. She would do anything to keep him missing her. To keep him interested in her.

Pete rolled over onto his side as he let out deep breaths. Grabbing his clothes he began to put them on again. His breathing was evening out as he sat back down on the bed and pulled on his socks.

Cadence sat on the other side of the bed getting dressed. She finished as she walked around the bed and sat down next to him. "So, now what do you want to do?"

Pete let out a sigh. "I have to go to band practice now." He said as he looked at his watch.

"Oh, can I come with you?" Cadence asked as she bit her lip gently. She didn't know he would have to leave. She wanted to spend time with him.

"I don't think you'd want to. Marcy is going to be there. That might be a little weird for you. I'll call you, though." He leaned down and kissed her cheek as he walked out of the house, encouraging her to follow.

Cadence nodded and watched him get into his car and leave. She had no idea what had just happened, but it couldn't have been good. Something was not right with this situation. Why would he invite her over if there was no time to hang out? Shrugging it off she headed back home. He said he would call.
