The week has just flown by. The day after the girls left I just stayed in bed and cried. The next day I went to school but nothing eventful happened. Now it's Friday morning. I wake up and drag myself out of bed. I change and walk downstairs. I reach into the cupboard and pull out some poptarts. I cook one and leave the other one for Billy. He comes down a minute later and I say, "I left a poptart on the counter for you" "Alrighty thanks" "Yup" He walks into the kitchen and I yell, "Billy where's mom?" He walks back into the living room and says, "She's at the camp with Lily" "Oh yea that's right. I forgot." "Yea" Billy comes and sits down beside me. Once again we sit and watch TV while waiting for Benji and Joel. "When will mom and Lily be home?" "Tonight I think" "Alrighty" Benji and Joel show up and school was, as usual, uneventful. I get home and see that mom and Lily are home. Joel's been avoiding me all week so I decide it's time to go talk to him. I run up to my room and put my books away. I run back downstairs and yell, "Mom is it alright if I go over to Joel's?" "Yea honey that's fine" "Alright thanks" "You're welcome" I run up to her and give her a kiss on the cheek. "Bye mom. Love you" Mom gets this big grin on her face "Bye sweetie. Love ya too" I smile and walk out of the house. I grab my board and skate down the street. I get to the Madden house a moment later. I knock on the door and Robin answers it. "Hello Amy" "Hi Robin. Is Joel home?" "Yes he is. He's up in his room" "Alrighty" She moves away from the door and I walk in. Benji's sitting on the couch and he looks up when I walk in. "Hey Amy" "Hey Benj" I walk up the steps quietly and open Joel's door. I walk in and I can't believe my eyes. There, on Joel's bed, is Joel and some chick kissing. I go over to them and rip the girl off Joel by her hair. "Amy wait" I punch Joel square in the nose and walk downstairs and out of the house. Once I reach the sidewalk I bolt. I run and run. I don't care where I'm going I just want to get as far away from that house as I can. I can't believe he was cheating on me. Why didn't I believe Benji? The tears in my eyes are making it hard to see. Because of them I don't see that crack in the sidewalk and I fall flat on my face. I just lie on the sidewalk and cry. All of a sudden I fell two strong arms wrap around me. I bury my face in Benji's chest and cry. I look up at Benji, tears running down my face, and say, "Why would he cheat on me? I thought he loved me!" "Amy he cheated on you because he's a fool. He doesn't know what he had" "I'm so sorry I didn't believe you Benji. I should have. I should have dumped Joel right then and there" "Amy no one ever wants to believe that someone is cheating on them" "I know." I put my head back on Benji's chest "I just wish I wasn't so stupid!" I start bawling again. "Amy you're not stupid. He is" "I just... I just want to go home." "Alright." Benji stands up and pulls me up by my arms. He wraps his arm around my waist and we walk to my house. We walk in my house and sit down on the couch. Mom walks in from the kitchen and says, "Amy what's wrong?" She comes sit down by me and I start crying again. "Joel was cheating on me!" "Oh honey" She pulls me into a hug and I cry on her shoulder. She rubs my arm and then pulls away. She grabs my arm and yells, "Amy, you're bleeding." She pulls me up and pulls me into the kitchen. She takes a rag, gets it wet with warm water, and dabs my arm with it. "Ow!" "Sorry honey but I've got to clean it" She keeps dabbing at it and I just grit my teeth. "How did you do this anyway?" "Well after I saw Joel." I gulp "I ran out of the house and I tripped over something in the sidewalk" "I see" She cleans my arm up and puts a wrap on it. Mom and I walk back into the living room and I get embraced bye Billy "I'm so sorry Amy" I lay my head on his shoulder and sigh. "I guess he broke his promise" Billy pulls away from me "Huh?" "My first day here you and him were talking and he said 'Don't worry I won't break her heart, I promise' He broke his promise because my heart is in a million pieces now" Billy pulls me back into the hug and repeats "I'm so sorry Amy" "It's alright Billy. It's not your fault Joel's a dickhead" "I know but it still sucks" He pulls away from me "Yes it does" I walk past him and start going up the stairs. "I'm going to my room" "Alright honey. Yell if you need anything." "Alright. Coming Benji?" "Oh yea" He jumps up and both of us go upstairs. I open my bedroom door and walk in. I lie down on my bed and close my eyes. "You can sit down Benj" "Ok" I hear his footsteps across my floor. My bed sinks a little as he sits at the foot of it. I open one eye and see Benji looking at me. "Lay down with me please" "Ok" Benji lies down and I cuddle up next to him. I lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arm around me. "Why didn't I believe you?" "Because Joel makes it seem that he really likes you. He's done it to every other girl and each time he cheats on someone it's with the same girl. I can't stand her." I pick my head up and look at Benji "So everything you said was true." "Unfortunately yes." I sigh and lay my head back down. "I guess it'll be better if we're just friends" "You and Joel?" "Yea" "You still want to be friends with him?" "Well yea. Sure he hurt me but I know he is still a good guy and sadly if I can't have him as a boyfriend I'll just take him as a friend" "I see" "Yea. Just leave it with girls are confusing" Benji laughs which makes me bounce up and down. "I was planning on it" I laugh slightly "Alright" "Holy shit. I got her to laugh." I laugh again. "Oh my god. I did it again." I pick my head up and say, "You're a dork" Benji grins. And I thought his brother's smile was cute. "I know I am" I smile at him. Benji's smile fades and he gets this very serious look on his face. He brings his hand up to my face and tucks some hair behind my ear. Without even thinking about it, I lean down and kiss Benji. I pull away from him and slowly open my eyes. Benji just stares at me in either awe or shock. I bite my lip and stare back at him waiting for him to say something. "Umm wow," He finally says. "What was that for?" I shrug "I don't know. I just... did it." "Well I liked it." I laugh. "I did too." Benji smiles. He brings his hand up to my face again and pulls me back down to kiss him again. He slips his tongue in my mouth and rubs my tongue. "Amy!!" I jump up and run to my door. I poke my head out my door and say, "Yes?" "Billy, Lily and I are going out to eat. Do you want to come?" "Uh not really. I don't feel like going out" "Alright I understand. There's some leftovers in the fridge if you want to eat that" "Ok" "Ok bye honey I love you" "Ok mom I love you too" They walk away and I go back to my room. I lie on top of Benji and kiss him. I pull away from him and he says, "Wow that was unexpected." I just smile. I lay my head down on his chest and he rubs my head. I lift my head back up and kiss him again. He runs his hand up my side and rests it on my upper back. I rest my hand on his chest and continue to kiss him. He runs his hands back down my sides and tugs at the bottom of my shirt. I pull away from Benji and allow him to take my shirt off. I go back to kissing him and he slowly lays me down on the bed so he is on top of me. I grab at the bottom of his shirt and pull it off. He reaches around my back and undoes my bra. He throws my bra on the floor with our shirts. He kisses down my neck and my collarbone. He reaches my boob and starts sucking on it. After he's done sucking on it he continues to work his way down. He kisses down my chest and stomach. He stops kissing me and undoes my pants. He looks up at me and slowly pulls my pants down. When he gets my pants to my knees I kick them the rest of the way off. He kisses back up my stomach and chest then we rejoin our lips. I run my hands down his chest and work on getting his pants undone. After I get them undone I pull them down. I get them down as far as I can and Benji kicks them off the rest of the way. Benji runs his hand down my chest and stomach. He slips his hand in my underwear and starts to rub me. Now my breathing is quickening. They're coming in short small bursts. Benji grabs a strap of my underwear and pulls them off as well. He starts kissing my neck again and I slowly pull his boxers off. He stops kissing my neck and looks at me. "Are you sure you want to do this?" I smile, "Oh yea. I'm sure." "Ok" He slowly enters me. At first he slowly moves in and out but he gradually gets faster. I throw my head back and clutch on to the sheets of my bed. Benji holds on to my hips and continues to speed up. "Oh Benji!" I scream out. Benji moves in and out a couple more times and I yell, "Oh I'm so close!" "Me too" Benji says quietly. Benji moves in one last time and I yell. Just yell. Benji pulls out of me and lies next to me. He pulls the covers up around us. I lay my head on his chest and he rubs my back. "That was incredible," I say. "Yes it was," Benji whispers. "Amy! We're home" "Oh shit!" Benji and I scramble to get our clothes back on. When both of us were dressed, Benji gives me a kiss. "I don't think my mom remembers that you were here, so go out the window" "Ok" He kisses me again then climbs out my window. I fix my hair in my full-length mirror and walk downstairs. "Hey Mom" "Hey Amy. We brought you home food" "Cool thanks" "You're welcome" She hands me my food and I sit on the couch and eat it. "So what did you do Amy?" Billy asks. "Uhh I just slept, mainly" "I see" Whew. "Hey Amy. Wasn't Benji here?" Mom asks. I gulp. "Um yea he was but um he left shortly after you guys did" "Oh then why is his van still here?" "Oh well because he was umm being nice and he umm left it for me and Billy" "Oh ok" I'm getting really good at this lying thing. I finish eating my food and throw the container away. "Well I'm going to go to bed. Night Mom, Night Lily, Night Billy" Mom gives me a hug. "Night dear. I'm still so sorry." "It's fine Mom. I promise." "Alright" "Night Amy" Lily comes and gives me a hug. "Night Lily" I walk up to my room and lay down on my bed. I can't believe I just had sex with Benjamin Levi Madden. I throw my pillow over my face and giggle. Shortly after that I fall asleep. I wake up to a small tinking. It's coming from my window. I go over to my window and open it. I poke my head out of it and see Benji standing in my yard. "Benji what are you doing?" I half whisper. "By the looks of it I'm standing under your window." "But why?" "Because I couldn't sleep and I wanted to see you again" "You were going to see me tomorrow" "I couldn't wait that long" Benji whines. I smile, "Alright fine come on up" Benji smiles and climbs up (I don't know how but he did) He climbs in my window and gives me a hug. He pulls back a little but keeps his hands on my waist. "So..." Benji says. "So... What?" I ask. "I don't know" I laugh. "Ok" He leans down and kisses me. He pulls away and I smile. "Well I think I better get some sleep." I say. "Yea me too." We walk over to the bed and both of us lay down. "Night Benji" "Night Amy" And then I fell asleep... again. I wake up and roll over. I open my eyes and see that Benji isn't there anymore. I look at the clock and see it's only 7:30. Why the fuck did I wake up that early on a Saturday? I roll over to my stomach and go back to sleep. "Amy" Someone whispers in my ear. I hit whoever said that then I open an eye. Benji's right there holding his eye. "That was mean" "Well it was mean of you to leave me" "I came back!" I laugh "Ok Benji. I'm sorry" He kisses me then stands up. "Come on Amy. Get up" I roll back over and say, "I don't wanna" Benji climbs into bed with me and wraps his arm around me. I roll over to my back and look at Benji. He looks down at me and brushes some hair out of my face. He rubs my face and says, "You're so beautiful Amy" I smile at him and say, "Joel never said anything like that to me" Benji leans down and kisses me. He pulls back and puts his lips next to my ear. "I'm not Joel," He whispers. That sends shivers down my spine "I'm glad you're not" I say. He smiles and kisses me again. He lays his head down next to mine and I close my eyes. "I can't believe we had sex," He whispers. "I know. It's crazy," I whisper back. He lifts his head up and I open my eyes. "Was that... umm... was that your umm..." He gets really quiet. "Was that your first time?" "Yea it was. Was it yours?" "Mmmhmm" "Well damn Benji! You're good!" Benji starts laughing. "Thank you, thank you." I laugh with him. "I guess you're just a natural" "I guess I am" Benji gets real close to me and whispers, "But I hope to perfect it." I smile. "I want you to too." He smiles then kisses me again. He pulls away from me and says, "I really think we should get up now" "I guess we should too" He stands up and I stretch. Benji grabs my hand and pulls me up. Just now is when I actually see what Benji is wearing. He's wearing plain black pants with a chain that I assume is connected to a wallet and a black Green Day shirt. His hair is stuck up in little spikes. "Benji" "Yes?" "You look really hot today" "Oh thanks" "You're welcome" "Well I'm going to change so..." "Oh I can see you naked but I can't see you change" "Just get the fuck out." He laughs. "Ok ok I'm going" He walks out and I go to my dresser. I pull out a black shirt that says, "Come to the dark side, we have cookies," and some small blue jeans. I go to the bathroom and put my contacts in. I pee then brush my hair. I brush my teeth then walk downstairs. Benji, Mom and Billy are sitting on the couch. Mom notices me walk in and says, "How are you today Amy?" "I'm doing really good actually" "Really?" "Yep" "Well that's good" "Mmmhmm" I go over to the couch and sit down next to Benji. He grabs my hand and we intertwine fingers. We watch TV for a while then I lean up to Benji and whisper, "Lets go do something" "Ok," He whispers back. We both stand up and I say, "Me and Benji are going out for a while ok?" "That's fine" Benji and I walk outside. "So where are we going to go?" I ask. "Uhh how about to a CD store?" "Sure why not?" "Ok" We get into the van and drive to the CD store. We browse the store for a little and when we don't find anything we decide to go out to eat. We go to this really cool vegetarian place called "Ninguna Carne" which, Benji told me, means No Meat in Spanish. We get seated and order our drinks. I look at the menu for a bit then I ask, "What do you think I should get Benji?" "Well their veggie burgers are really good" "Alright I think I'll get that" "Alright" The waitress comes back to give us our drinks and take our orders. We tell her what we want then she walks away. I pick up a straw and pull the wrapper off. I put the straw in my drink and look at Benji. He's smiling at me. "What?" I ask with a smile. "Nothing" he says innocently. "Uh-huh" I say. The waitress comes back with our food a little later. Benji and I talk for a little then decide to go home. Benji pulls out his wallet and tries to pay but I push him out of the way. I pull out my wallet and try to pay but I get pushed out of the way. Benji and I fight for a while then I let him pay. We get back in the van and drive home. I walk in the door and stop dead in my tracks. There sitting on my couch next to my mom is my Uncle Mark. "Amy we need to talk" Mom says. "What's going on?" I ask. "Sit down please" "No! Tell me what's going on!" Mom takes a deep breath. "Well your Uncle Mark here-" She takes another deep breath "-has gained custody of you" "NO!" I screech. I run up to my room and slam my door shut. "I won't go with him. I won't. I can't." I say to myself while pacing. "Amy, open the door," someone says. "NO!" I yell again. "Amy it's me, Benji. Open the door." "It's unlocked" Benji opens the door and walks in. I continue to pace. "I can't go with him Benji. I just can't. I won't" Benji goes over to my bed and sits down. "You have to Amy" "No! I won't. You know nothing about him Benji. You don't know what he did and what he can do." "What did he do?" I sit on the bed next to Benji. "When I was 6," I whisper, "He was babysitting me and my cousin Tricia and just in the middle of the day he took us into a different room and raped us. He raped me Benji" I stare into Benji's eyes as I say this. Benji tightens his jaw and I swear I saw flames in his eyes. He stands up and walks to my door. He walks downstairs and I follow him. We get in the living room and Benji says, "She can't go with him" "What?" Mom asks. "She can't go with him. I won't let her" Mark stands up "Well she's going with me whether you like it or not little boy" All of sudden Benji hauls off and punches Mark in the nose. Mark grabs his nose. "You stupid little mother fucker" Mark grabs my arm and pulls me out the door. He throws me in the car and drives off. I had no idea it would be another three years before I got to see Benji again.
