There was a beautiful funeral procession and everyone was there. Gerard looked down at her face and just thought about how this could all be different. Then the three despisable phrases came into his head: Could have, should have, would have.
"Hey Gerard are you okay?" Ray asked. What a stupid question his girlfriend died, he just shrugged and the band left. He walked into the empty apartment, that's when it hit him that she wasn't coming back she wouldn't be there to welcome him home.He would do anything to have her back. He prayed to God. He walked into the bedroom and just collapsed on the bed and cried himself to sleep. The next day he woke up abruptly, he had a dream of her dying. He was breathing heavily and covered in sweat.
"What's wrong baby?" asked a tired voice, he jerked his head to look at who said that and he toppled off the bed in shock. Blair was laying next to him just waking up.
"This isn't possible!" he said in a strangled voice.
"Huh? What are you talking about Gee?" she asked
"You're- you're dead"
"Actually I'm very much alive" she said smiling, she leaned over the edge of the bed and kissed him. It was her, no one could kiss like that. He looked at the calander: June 28, 2007. This was weird they had gone back in time or something.
"What the hell is going on?" he muttered just then everything froze. A guy appeared in the doorway, "WHO ARE YOU!?"
"Gerard calm down" the guy said calmly
"What's going on man!?"
"I'm Gabriel, one of God's Angels." The man explained
"What are you doing here!?" he asked, Gerard had to have been one of the biggest sinners in the world.
"God sent me. He's giving you 3 days to change things with Blair, the accident will happen though" Gabriel said.
"Can I change it?" Gerard asked
"Can you? Only you know the answer Gerard" and Gabriel disappeared. So Gerard had 3 days to change Blair's fate.
"Honey are you feeling okay?" Blair asked, time had unfroze
"Y-yeah I'm fine" he said getting off the floor. Blair got up and stretched, just then there was a knock on the door. "Mikey" he muttered, Blair went out and answered it
"Oh hi Mikey!" he heard Blair say. Gerard walked out and wrapped his arms around Blair
"Hey Gerard we got to-"
"I can't do anything for the rest of this week sorry Mikey" said Gerard
"Oh alright see you two later than" said Mikey leaving.
"Are you serious" Blair asked smiling
"Sure am babe, now what do you want to do?"
"I don't know" she said hugging him
"I know where we can go"

"What are we doing at a jewelery store Gerard?" she asked
"pick out an engagement ring" he said
"Oh okay...wait WHAT!?" she said
"Blair will you marry me?"
"Why are you asking? You know my answer is yes" she said starting to get emotional, he got her a ring and slid it on her finger. "I love you so much" she whispered in his ear
"I love you too" he said
