I sat there through math thinking about how close I was. I mean, I was lucky enough to even be in the same room as him. I wonder if he will go out with me. Probably, but he will most likey be too nervous to ask. What will I say if he does? Of course I will say yes, but I don't know-

"Ashley?" a very angry voice snapped me out of my thoughts. It was my math teacher, Mrs.Grundy. She didn't look happy. All of my classmates were looking at me, waiting for something. Mrs.Grundy was looking at me, as if she was expecting fireworks to come out of my head or something. I just wanted to yell what do you fuckin want? Will you leave me alone?!?!
"Well Ashley, tell us what the answer is," she ordered. I looked down at my blank piece of paper and then at the board. I squinted at it, struggling to read what it said. Come on Ashley. Its math. Just make shit up.
"Uhh, well," I stuttered. What are we learning about? Y=mx+b? Sure ok.
"Well if Y=mx+b then...um, the other equation must be h=wx+q..." I trailed off. I didn't even know if that was a real equation. I only knew it was Y=mx=b upside down. Because once my friend sent me this note and she wrote Y=mx=b on it, and I accidentally read it upside down.
"Smart ass," I heard someone whisper behind me.
My teacher just rolled her eyes and mumbled "Next time pay attention."
That made me look at my 'notes.' It had mindless scribbles on it, filling the paper with darkness. It looked pretty cool, actually.
"Remember, rise over run, Ashley." My teacher said again, causing me look up. But I only caught her on Ashley.
God will she fuckin leave me alone today? I already want to die. No, it feels like I already am. God I hate you, Mrs. Grundy.

once i actually DID read a note and i thought it said h=wx+q. it was really funny.
and this scene was going to be in the way curse, but i cut it out, because it seemed like it belonged here.
