“I’m sorry!” Gerard screamed, as Irene continued pulling pranks on him.
“No, you insulted me! You made me feel awful!” She said flicking her wand so water sprayed in his face. He was drenched. Frank sat on the couch and watched, this girl was his hero.
“I’m really sorry!” Gerard said
“Sorry doesn’t cut it” She said
“What do I have to do!?” Gerard asked
“Kiss her!” Frank yelled out
“FRANKIE!” Irene said, Gerard grabbed her and kissed her. Her wand fell to the floor.
“WOO!” Frank yelled, Mikey came in and dropped his sidekick.
“She forgave him!?” Mikey asked
“No, it’s an against-her-will-kiss-but-she-still-wants-it thing”
“Oh, man Gerard’s gonna get it” he added as Irene’s hand groped around for her wand. She grabbed it but did nothing. Finally she pushed away cracked her, just staring at Gerard. Gerard, on the other hand, had a smirk plastered across his face.
“Frank I’m going to kill you!” Irene said
“You can’t! It’s illegal”
“Petrificus totalus!” Frank froze.
“Oh shit!” Bob said
“Okay I’ll unfreeze him” she said as the band members looked at her, she waved her wand and Frank started moving and wiggling.
“THAT WAS MEAN IRENE!” Frank said
“It was mean for what you told Gerard to do”
“Kiss and make up, that’s what, Muggles believe in!”
“Well we believe in dueling till revenge is filled”
“Yeah well we don’t have magical powers”
“I keep forgetting that”
“No you don’t” Frank said
“Okay well forgive me for trying to have some fun” she said
“Isn’t that what death eaters did, make fun of Muggles?” her face grew stony and she looked pissed.
“Do I make you hang in the air, showing your knickers?” she said in a deathly voice
“No” Frank said
“Don’t ever compare me to a death eater Frank Iero, I’ve lived during those times and it isn’t nice at all” she said
“O-okay” Frank was positively scared now
“It was not fun during those times. I was staying with my family in London, you know I’d be closer to King’s Cross, my parents made me go to Hogwarts mom said it was a better school” she looked at the floor, “That’s besides the point though it’s all over now”
“What about you and Harry?” Gerard asked
“He never noticed me” she said dryly, almost sadly.
“So are he and Ginny happy?” Bob asked, Irene’s eyes flashed at the sound of Ginny’s name.
“Why do you want to talk about and my life?” she asked quickly
“You love Harry don’t you!? Wait….I thought you said he was a distant cousin….EW!” Frank said.
“Distant, Frank! The father away the less they’re related” Ray asked
“I’m his 5th cousin 3 times removed” she said
“Ohhhh” Frank said, Ray and Mikey noticed Gerard seemed to stiffen. They all knew he had and blew his chance with Irene. “But you and Harry have the same eyes”
“Yeah and at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-“ Ray stopped this statement because Irene was starting to cry and purple and red sparks were coming from the end of her wand. If Gerard had a wand sparks would probably fly out the end too. He looked pissed. Irene shook her hair back and huffed
“As soon as this is over the better” she muttered.
“You’re telling me” Gerard muttered
“Stood right by him and fought Voldemort and the Death Eaters, but no he goes after Ginny” Irene said to herself. It finally hit Bob, Ray, Mikey and Frank: Irene was only doing this because she hoped Harry would leave Ginny. Gerard had gone outside and Irene had too, to go meet up with her sister. Although she probably didn’t make it to where her sister was because the guys were just lounging around when they heard yells from outside. Mikey hopped up and peeked out the window.
“Is she using magic on him?” Frank whispered
“No, but I think she’s about to use fists” Mikey said
“What are they yelling about?” Bob asked
“’Why are you in love with some guy who’ll never love you?’” Mikey said
“Gerard that was not right” Ray muttered
“’Why are you in my business? It’s none of your business who I’m in love with!’”
“’You could be with someone who loves you but you’re too caught up with that Potter guy’” Mikey didn’t have to recite with Irene’s retort because her voice was clear and carrying
“And who would that be? You!?” then there was silence, Frank jumped up happily
“I knew he had feelings for her!”
“One problem Frank: I don’t think she feels the same way” said Bob.
“Unless she does” Mikey said
“Oh come on Mikes she finds this comical” said Ray, and then they heard a third voice
“Irene Charlotte Davis!” the voice said, this time Bob peeked out the window.
“I think it’s her sister.” Bob said, “Aww I can’t hear they’re talking in low voices” They stayed silent, “’You don’t follow what you preach Iris you should move on also!’”
“What does that mean?” Ray asked
“HOW DARE YOU BRING UP FRED!? HE WAS THE ONLY ONE I COULD EVER TRULY LOVE!” Iris screamed
“Oh damn she was in love with Fred Weasley” Frank said.
“Well if you hadn’t been in America maybe you could have helped fight!”
“How dare you Irene! Fred didn’t tell me anything! I had no idea what was going on!”
“OH REALLY!? You didn’t know death eaters took over the school? You didn’t know I got hurt badly by them!? Cruciatus Curse more than twice a day!”
“Well even if I did know what could I do about it!?”
“I tell you what, took up on Fred’s offer and moved with him!” The bus door opened and Gerard came in.
“Enjoying yourselves?” he spat angrily
“Chill dude, it’s not our fault you love a girl who doesn’t love you” They heard two pops and both girls were gone.
“Where’d they go”
“As long as she never comes back, I’m happy” Gerard said, all of a sudden a silver wolf came into the bus, Frank was the only one unsurprised.
“Thank you all for your hospitality but I’m not coming back” the wolf said in Irene’s voice and disappeared, Mikey looked at Gerard; his face fell slightly but he quickly put on a fake happy face.
“Thank God”
“Gerard quit the act, you love her”
“Why would I fall in love with a freak like her?” Gerard said, their mouths dropped
“HOW DARE YOU!” Frank screamed jumping on him and beating him up. All of a sudden Frank was blasted off of him by a force, they all turned and saw Harry Potter.
“Frank please don’t resort to violence” Harry said calmly
“Harry he made her leave!” Frank said
“No he didn’t, Irene left on her own account. She felt horrible about what she said to Gerard” none of them asked how he knew Gerard’s name.
“You heard everything?” Bob asked
“Yes Bob, I did, I also know how Irene feels about me” he said with a sigh.
“Ohhh you heard about what she said about Ginny?” Ray asked
“Yes, the sad thing is she respects Ginny, and is really good friends with her”
“But when she was talking about Ginny it sounded like she loathed her” Mikey said
“She doesn’t. Her and Ginny are very good friends actually, and Irene doesn’t know what she’s feeling at the moment. She’s kind of having an emotional breakdown”
“Yeah and Gerard’s being a prick and not helping it by insulting her” Frank said
“Whatever” Gerard muttered
“Gerard get over yourself dude just apologize”
“Why should I apologize!? I didn’t do anything!!!!”
“Are you sure?” Harry asked
“Yes” Gerard said
“Irene!” Harry called, there was a pop
“You know Harry I’m tired of you calling me like a house elf…..WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING BACK HERE!?” she yelled.
“Yeah just what I want to know” Gerard said, Irene sent him a rude hand gesture
“Oh real lady like” Gerard said sarcastically.
“Fuck you” she growled,
“No thanks” he said
“Alright Irene enough” Harry said as she was about to go off
“What do you want Harry?”
“I want you to forget”
“Yeah like that’ll happen” Gerard said
“Uhh yeah Gerard, he’s going to wipe her mind and probably yours too”
“NO!” she said
“Then I want this nonsense to stop” he said
“Yeah Irene come back, it’s no fun without you here” Mikey said.
“MIKEY!” Gerard snapped.
“Shut up Gerard you want her back too” said Mikey
“It’s settled then good bye Irene” with another pop Harry apparated.
“Time to talk about feelings” Ray said pushing Irene in the seat across from Gerard.
“Okay Gerard why did you react towards Irene the way you did when you found out she was a witch?” Frank asked
“This is ridiculous” he said
“Just answer Gerard”
“Okay fine, I thought that there was a perfect girl for me and then I find out her secret and I don’t know I kind of felt pissed that she told Frank and not me. I have nothing against you Irene” he muttered.
“Okay progress” Ray said
“Okay Irene why were you offended when Gerard said what he said?”
“Why? Because he made me feel like the only way someone could like me was if I put them under a fucking spell! That’s as bad as lining me up next to a veela!” she said
“But I never meant it like that! I’m really sorry Irene, you’re gorgeous and I don’t think you’d have trouble finding someone better than me”
“It’s okay; it’s just that my dad left when I got accepted into Hogwarts. He stayed but practically disowned Iris then he left when I went. His daughters weren’t normal. And I kind of never told any other Muggles about what I am, because I thought I’d get attached and they’d abandon me like my father did” she said
“I will never abandon you” Gerard whispered gently touching her cheek.
“Didn’t your mother teach you never to tell lies?”
“I’m not lying” Frank looked at her hand, she had faint white scars reading ‘I must not tell lies’
“Umbridge” Frank said
“Ugly bitch” Irene said, she realized Frank was looking at her hand, “I was in detention with her as much as he was” Gerard’s jaw clenched, Frank decided to quickly change the subject,
“SOOOO are you and Gerard okay now?” Frank asked, she looked at Gerard and Gerard looked at her, they seemed to come to an understanding.
