"Okay class I'd like you to read your paper's out loud" Mr. W said. Oh boy this was going to be fun. "Any volunteers?" I raised my hand. "Alright Christine" I got up to the front of the class.
"My Hero is Gerard Way-" The class groaned
"Go back to your seat"Jason yelled
"Screw you Jason, you all know you wanna hear why Gerard's my hero."
"No actually we don't" said Tammy
"I do" Mr. W said, "Go on Christine why am I- I mean why is Gerard Way your hero?" I looked at him. Why was he about to say 'I'? Then it dawned on me, but I stared at my paper and suddenly felt embaressed to read it
"You know I think I will go back to my seat" I said meekly going back, Gerard looked angry with himself.
"Christine please stay after"
"OHHHHHH!" The class said
"I knew you'd get your ass caught eventually" Tammy said
"Mr. W, Tammy wants to read" Daniel said
"Go ahead" Mr. W said, Tammy skipped up and flounced her hair back,
"My Hero by Ta-"
"We know who you are douche bag" Chris said, Tammy glared at him,
"My hero is my Daddy. He's my hero because he's rich and buys me whatever I want." she sat back down,
"Well that's a sentence" Mr. W said
"That's okay, she's too fucking stupid to come up with anything else" Daniel said
"Shut up Australian boy" Tammy said
"I'm british you fucking moron!"
"Settle down!" Mr. W said, they both fell silent. The class continued reading their papers and the bell rang and I sat where I was staring at my paper
"Well I guess my slip up totally screwed up my identity" he said with a slight laugh sitting on the desk top. I stayed silent, "Christine I've got to know you in the week I've had you in my class and you never I silent" I made a noise. "This is exactly why I didn't want anyone to know who I was"
"It's not that. I just feel so stupid! I mean you're my english teacher and art!" he smirked
"I thought for sure someone would recognize me but you're the first one and it's my fault." he said
"And I should have realized you were wearing Mikey's galsses!" I added.
"Calm down" Gerard laghed
"Well Mr. Way I think you had better give me an F because you aren't getting this paper." I said
