Ch 1
August 3rd
My name is Katie. Im 19 years old. My friend Tiffa was dragging me to a show tonight for some band that she liked and knew. She lives about 2 hours out of town. She came in just for this show. Anyways we had gotten at the venue around 3:30 pm. We were on the guest list since Tiffa talks to someone. We ended up waiting outside in the hot ass sun for hours. I was highly irritated. As we were sitting in my car a van pulled up and a bunch of guys got out. One of them caught my eye. He was tall and lanky. He also was wearing glasses. He was really attractive. Before I know it he had disappeared into the venue. Once the doors opened me and tiffa cut in line and got inside. The stage was really small. But it was a small bar/venue. We were up front. We sat on stage between the bands. I had never heard of any of the bands that were performing. I was bored to death through the first two bands. They were both local bands that really sucked. The third band to play was a local band too. I had never heard of them either. The bass player was the same guy is ay in the parking lot earlier that day. They were an amazing band. Their energy on stage blew me away. Words couldn’t describe how amazing they were. Tiffa’s band was the next to perform. They were pretty good. I cant remember their name worth the life of me. We left the stage once they finished so tiffa could talked to them. While she was doing that I just sat watching people. Eventually they had to do something which left me and tiffa talking to each other when we saw glasses dude as tiffa named him. She motioned for him to come over to us. He didn’t walk over to us. He turned backwards and did this like backwards skip. Actually I don’t know what the hell it was but it was pretty funny
“hi im mikey” he said when he reached us
“im Tiffa, this is Katie: tiffa said she got into a conversation with him. He looked bored to tears but still paid attention to her.
“Ill be right back he said to her. He went somewhere for a moment but came back. He said something to me that I didn’t hear but before I could say anything Tiffa started talking to him again. After a bit he was being called for and we were being kicked out cause of the venue closing. We went outside and were hanging out with Tiffa’s band. We went and got food with them but all I could think about was Mikey
