I see a girl, too young to die
Lying on the cold, hard ground
Tears running freely down
She's too lost to be found


My heart breaks into pieces
As each droplet falls
Her sobs never stopping
Echoing on invisible walls


As she breaks down inside
Too pained to even stand
Too hurt to look up to me
She reaches out a bloody hand


I help her up, help her stand
And wipe her tears away
Now she sees the blood
And she faints and starts to sway

So closing her eyes, she takes a breath
