Love the story.
By the way, as a sng that I can imagine them playing early one morning at full volume to the whole school: Hocus Pocus by Focus. It's just odd... how many times to you hear yoddling in the middle of a song... least I think thats what he's doing.Author's response
I've never heard that song. I try to stick to music that I know, and my musical selections tend to reflect what bands I prefer at the time I write that particular section. I've never actually heard the entirety of 2112, but i have heard the two movements of it that I mentioned. I might have a Jethro Tull or Pink Floyd song next time. Or another metal album. An American Wizard in Hogwarts

Wicked chapter and I loved it. Between the Monty Python bits from last chapter and the various humor bits here, methinks you've got a delightfully twisted mind - I like that in an author.
I'm flattered that you used my suggestion; you wouldn't believe where the inspiration for that one came from. ;)
Flatus maximus sounds like the kind of spell James Potter would come up with, though I admit I'd be more inclined to suspect Sirius of such a spell.
What Matt did to Harry & Hermione was underhanded and dirty, also great fun. I do love the way you've got Harry & Hermione slowly growing on each other; I suspect Matt's the only one who's really seeing, yet, how things are going, there.
I'll definitely looking forward to the next chapter.Author's response
I'm glad someone appreciates my Python references. I actually had a reviewer on FFdotNet tell me they'd never read Monty Python. I explained my Python reference from Chapter 4 in the authors note in this chapter, if you can figure it out. I'll give you a hint: I know exactly what Hermione's wand is in canon.
your suggestion really was the best.
I just said that James Potter taught Harry the spell, not that he came up with it.
Yes, what Matt did was underhanded and dirty (in more ways than one). But it was funny, huh?
