“I’ll be damned, the kiddo got laid.”
Casey blushed profusely as she looked up from the boxes she was going through, to see Dolly leaning in the doorway with a shit-eating smirk on her face. Dolly laughed softly at the startled, deer in the headlights look Casey gave her, mixed in with her bright crimson blush. “Wh-What are you talking about?” Casey asked, shocked Dolly had known without her saying anything.
“You can’t try to hide it from me Casey,” Dolly said with a bigger grin. “You and your boyfriend finally hit the sack together.”
“H-How did you know?” Casey questioned, her confusion showing on her face as well as in her tone. “I didn’t say anything to anyone around here. And even if I did, that person would have been you. You know I don’t trust anyone else in this store.”
Dolly came over to her and patted her back. “No need to get frightened or shy around me,” she said as he put her arm around Casey and squeezed her for a half hug. “You know from the past you can talk to me about anything. Don’t ya?” When Casey nodded and gave Dolly a half hug. “So, no details, but was he any good?”
Casey blushed brighter, which shouldn’t have been possible, and nodded, wishing she could be somewhere else at that moment. She sighed and ducked her head when Dolly patted her shoulder.
“Well at least he wasn’t a lousy lay kiddo,” Dolly chuckled as she headed to the door, where she stopped and smiled at Casey. “Hope you two remembered the rubbers.”
Casey stared after Dolly as she turned and left, feeling odd since she had never really had that type of talk with anyone.

“Okay, why the Hell are you grinning so much?” Joe asked, voicing the silent question of everyone in the room.
Pete looked at him, confused, but smiling. “What are you talking about?”
Andy shook his head. “Pete, you’ve been grinning like a fool ever since you walked in Patrick’s door, what’s going on?”
“I have been?” Pete asked, his smile disappearing as a look of confusion replaced it. When Patrick, Andy, and Joe all nodded, Pete cocked his head slightly and lifted a brow as he looked at the third of them. “Huh... Oh well,” he said before smiling again. “Isn’t smiling a good thing?”
“For you, it’s like making Andy eat steak,” Joe said, only to be lightly nudged by his boyfriend who gave him a slightly warning look over his glasses. “What?”
“You know ever since he met Casey he’s been smiling....a...lot...mo-oh my God,” Patrick said as he slowly looked from Joe to Pete. “You... I don’t know what to say about that.”
“What?” Joe asked as Pete began to blush slightly even though his facial expression stayed the same. “What? You don’t know what to say about what? Patrick?” Joe gave a sigh of frustration and looked at Andy as Pete’s blush got brighter. “Do you know what I’m missing here?”
Andy nodded slowly as he stared at Pete, who swallowed hard, his happy smile faltering slightly as he tried to hold it. “Oh my God Pete.”
“W-Wh-What?” He smiled innocently, though his eyebrow was starting to tick slightly. “What’s with all the oh my Gods?” He chuckled nervously.
Joe gave a huff and looked back and forth between Patrick and Andy. “What the Hell am I missing here?”
“If you haven’t realized it, I’m going to wonder how you know what you and Patrick are doing when no one’s around,” Andy said as he looked at Joe then quickly looked back to Pete who was now shrinking into the recliner he had sat in.
“What are you talking a-...” Joe paused as he looked at Andy and Patrick’s shocked faces, before he looked at Pete’s bright crimson face, noticing that Pete’s ears had begun to go red as well. “Oh my God you two did the dirty!”
Patrick slapped Joe upside the back of his head, making him cringe. “Couldn’t you have put it in a nicer way Joseph!?” Patrick exclaimed, frowning at him as he looked to Pete. “Sorry, for the millionth time in our friendship, I’m sorry for his mouth.”
“What!?” Joe exclaimed, rubbing the back of his head. “Jesus... Sorry...” He said, pouting as he looked at Patrick, who looked back to him.
“Don’t say sorry to me, say sorry to Pete,” Patrick said as he shook his head.
Joe looked at Pete, who was blushing as bright as humanly possible. “I’m sorry Pete, I should have worded that differently,” he said as Pete nodded slightly.
“I forgive you Joe... But can we please just drop the subject guys?” Pete asked, fighting the urge to hide his face in his hands. “I really don’t want to talk about this. It’s between Casey and I.”
Andy chuckled. “About damn time you learn how to not kiss and tell,” he said with a teasing smile that made Pete groan and shake his head as he let it drop. “I was kind of tired of hearing about the previous women. No offense Pete but you could not pick women until you came across Casey. I’m very happy for you and her.”
“Yeah, you guys make a cute couple,” Patrick said, nodding as Joe nodded to show he agreed with Patrick. “I have to admit, I was shocked when you brought her around, didn’t know how long you two would last, but I’m glad you guys did.”
“Yeah, and she’s a good cook,” Joe said, making the others, including Pete, laugh at him.
Pete smiled slightly as Andy’s phone rang and he started blushing himself. “Oooh, who’s calling Andy?” Pete asked with a grin as Andy quickly flipped him off and took out his phone, dashing out onto Patrick’s balcony. He chuckled and thought back to the other night, the look in Casey’s eyes as they held each other post-orgasm. The shower after the post-orgasmic waves of pleasure had been nice as well with his body pressed close to hers in the shower as the water cascaded over the both of them.
His smile quickly left his face as a thought crossed his mind. Why didn’t he remember getting rid of a condom?
“Pete, you okay?” Patrick asked, but Pete didn’t answer as he stared at him, a look of fear creeping into his features. “Pete?” Patrick frowned and got up, walking over to his friend. “Pete, talk to me, what’s wrong?”
“Dude, you okay?” Joe asked. “You’re looking pretty pale there man.”
Pete slowly looked from Patrick, to Joe, and then back to Patrick. His throat and mouth felt cotton dry as he racked his brain, trying to remember if they had or hadn’t used protection the previous night. “Oh God... I have to go. I have to go talk to Casey.”
“Pete, what’s going on?” Joe asked, but didn’t get an answer as Pete bolted from the recliner and grabbed his keys, bolting out of the door.
Pete ran down the stairs, taking two at a time, nearly falling at one point, but he caught himself. He ran to his car, his heart pounding in his ears.

One horrendous speeding ticket later, Pete finally found himself pounding on Casey’s door, his mind so screwed up at the moment he couldn’t remember he had a key to her apartment. He walked inside when Casey opened the door, looking at him with a confused look on her face. “We need to talk.”
“Pete, what’s going on?” Casey asked as he came back to her after walking halfway across the apartment’s living room. “Pete, baby, are you okay?”
“Casey, we need to talk, okay baby?” He asked, gently cupping her face in his hands, his panicking eyes locking with her worried and confused eyes. “Okay?”
“Okay baby, what is it?”
“Casey, think for me...” He swallowed hard, trying to focus on the question. “I can’t think worth a shit right now, okay? Did we use a condom?”
