Darkened alcove, the stones pressed painfully into her back. He loomed over her, fingers cold around her wrists. The design of her palm still glowed violent red on the crest of his cheek.
"I know what you want," she said, attempting to think her wand into her hand.
"Granger,"he said. Releasing her, he stepped back, arms extended, parallel to the floor, palms facing her. Jaw locked, his eyes pierced her. "You have no idea what I want. But are you willing to listen, now?" Still as stone he stood, palms not the only thing exposed.
She swallowed hard, nodded.
